Agreed. He always chose to guest and / or collaborate with amazing artists, all incredibly varied. By doing this he has shown how talented and diverse he and his playing are. From Carol King and Les Paul to Chic and Michael Jackson, there’s nothing he can’t do. He is amazing live, but just as good as a session musician too.

This was the last time Nile spoke to Bernard.Edwards retired to his hotel room where he was later found dead by Rodgers.The medical examiner determined the cause of death was pneumonia. I started High School as the Disco Sucks backlash was in full swing. All those nights listening to Disco Mixes and wishing I was there and almost old enough to sneak in now even saying DISCO would now get me called a few choice names or a beat down. How is it everyone all of a sudden had some mass hypnosis and liked Lynyrd Skynyrd and other music my Sister listened to who was 7 years older. What happened to "Discoing" as my Mom would ask any time I went out dancing. Funny how my Sister never liked "Disco" but decades later when Get Lucky played on the radio she started jamming. I just looked at her with awe and pity wondering if she was just going through menopause and that momentary hot flash gave her sudden dance fever. After all this time please not now not trapped in the car being subjected to my Sister Act goes Disco. So Get Lucky yea ok great song... but all those years of chicky chicky ahhh ahh and 1-2-ahhhh Freak Out Le Freak C'est Chic Freak Out! or Yowza Yowza Yowza... blasting and not once did she show any signs of Disco Kicks. I would have been happy she finally got Dance Fever and glad she finally dropped the brick up her ass even if momentarily but clapping, singing and some kind of booty shaken was all a bit too much after all this time. I believe Steve Winwood is playing organ and keyboards in the back. He just loves to play funk and doesn't need to be in front. Has many connections to Nile. Slash also. I remember him doing an interview and he played this concert. Next morning Bernard had died and of course it was a great lose in funk and music period.
