I am in Love with my Super Avenger 2 so much, been dreaming about having one for a long time, and finally is on my wrist! I feel so special when i have it on so beautiful masterpiece!
This video and the more recent "Sketchy Dudes Wear Breitling" by Watches of Espionage really have me sold on the Breitling brand :) The Chronomat on a rouleaux bracelet is a work of art.
I’m lucky to have the exact chronomat 44 they show in the documentary in blue dial. I personally think the quality of Schneider era is way better than the Kerns era.
Almost right with you. There's a couple models from the Kerns era that are really good looking. But yeah for the most part (in my humble opinion) the Schneider ownership had some of the best models in Breitling's history.
I’m still waiting for one with a open case back, till then Ill keep buying the open case back watches …if you gonna make a beautiful movement, why not show it off? 🤔
There is a logical formula to keep your values on Breitling in the future. Start collecting all Pre-Kern watches and you are on the safe side. Since 2017 this once very reputable company is sinking straight to the graveyard of the swiss watch companies as many earlier on and purely family owned in the beginning of their heritage.Exactly 60% of the model range has been knocked off by green and nostalgic eco friendly nonsense and by a hord of marketing freaks coming specifically not from the watch industry.Imitation Loft ambiances in Shopping centers across the globe.Self imposed mockumentary styled actions like muppet show summits are just a bitter pill all serious collectors of this brand have to swallow just realising the earlier the better selling off their Breitling collections before it is to late! Accepting this illusionary concept created for the innocent believers of fake values and identities, that this famous brand certainly not deserves at all !!
Wow, this was kind of tough to read. Going to read it a couple more times and respond. This is a great comment. I'm not very eloquent, not even close to you, but want to respond, anyway. In a way I kind of agree with you. Some of the Breitling vids I've seen, probably the summits you wrote about, seemed dopey and contrived. There's one- the swankey flagship boutique party, made me ill. So hey, would I rather the Kerns era stress more grit, less glamor? Absolutely. "Instruments for Professionals " and "One simply does not become an aviation supplier by chance" were perfect slogans for a luxury tool watch company. Putting that aside, doesn't it really come down to the watches? It's all a matter of taste, but looking through the lineup, well... I don't really care for the bullet bracelets or mesh bracelets. But more so, these pastel and rainbow colors. The new Avenger series, there's not one design change I like better than the old models. I think the Premier line looks fantastic, and also the Mosquito models. Do I like the Schneider era lineups better? Yeah, probably. This is just me, though. You're saying Breitling is headed for the graveyard, but under current ownership, seems to be doing quite well. The company more like your describing in my opinion is TAG Heuer. Mixing nostalgia, modern, and connected watches, this company seems direction less and on it's way downhill in a hurry. You know, I'll bet it's a fine line you walk in the luxury tool watch segment. Too much tool, and Breitling becomes an expensive Sinn. Too much luxury, and I don't know, you become Hublot? I wouldn't write off Breitling just yet. It's survived allot worse adversity than success.
When paid endorsements from famous pilots and hollywood money grubbers are advertised it just makes me want to go out and find one to crush with a hammer.
i highly doubt that patek is the best, price doesn't show anything, rolex is for amature, they don't have much innovation as JLC, to me it's JLC and AP is the best but breitling is for sure bigger than rolex
Senkol Z there is very little doubt or debate as to the #1 status of PP among all brands and hasn’t been for 3 decades. Proceeds at the auction houses (read the free market in action) are enough proof of this. Carry on.
Breitling sucks. Their Value ranking and desirability has plummeted in recent years. Two watch brands that hold their value & desirability ROLEX PATEK PHILIPPE If you're going to drop some serious coin on a watch, you better have these two at the top of that list.
I like my Super Avenger II over any other breitling watch or brand, especially boring old mans watch like rolex. Who drops money on Rolex knows thing or two about watches but not timepieces.
@Quarters-eye talk about stating the bloody obvious. It’s only a recent phenomenon that enthusiast put value before anything else. Rolex is safe and sheep love safety and it attracts some of the dullest Watch enthusiasts I have ever met. I would have a Patek though. For one thing they have design flair although they can be fragile.
Resale value is for broke people, real watch enthusiasts dont care about resale. Rolex is playing these fools, messing with their insecurities. Rolex prices are very similar to Breitling in Retail
I know this might be difficult for you to understand value isn’t always desirable. Why would I buy a watch if I didn’t like the looks of ie a Rolex which to me looks dated not say over priced. If your concerned about value buy a gold bar.
You don’t buy a mechanical watch solely for accurate time keeping. Even a $50 Casio is more accurate. People buy a mechanical watch for appreciation of the craft of watchmaking, to own something that can last a life time and even leave to another generation. It’s a wonderful thing to own something that is not disposable and can withstand the test of time. A companion throughout life’s journey.
Apple Watch can fuck up within a very short period of time while these luxury watches last for a life time. Every time you take it for an overhaul it comes back as new while there’s nothing of that kind with smart watches
As we live in mediocre times where meaning of excellence &heritage is nearly forgotten, its amazing that products like this are still made.
G M very well said.
The last time that was said was during the Dark Ages.
I love my Breitling more now
I am in Love with my Super Avenger 2 so much, been dreaming about having one for a long time, and finally is on my wrist! I feel so special when i have it on so beautiful masterpiece!
Wow... I like my Breitling MORE now! So delighted to have one on my wrist!
A can of Campbells soup was made famous by a weirdo photographer years ago. You should collect some cans.
Because of this video I bought my Breitling Chronomat 41
It’s one thing wearing a Breitling but it’s another learning how one is born - they should play this film at Dealerships
They should, that’s an excellent idea!
Makes me proud to be a Breitling owner.😃👍
You and me both brother 🤟
True to that! Fellow Breitling owner.
Same here
Oh really, are you? Did u help design it? Or did you simply overpay for one?
@@tombryan1 You get what you pay for my friend!
i love how theres one row of watch makers and then theres row after row after row of polishers. it all makes sense
This video and the more recent "Sketchy Dudes Wear Breitling" by Watches of Espionage really have me sold on the Breitling brand :) The Chronomat on a rouleaux bracelet is a work of art.
I enjoy their enthusiasm

Breitling now makes quite a few models with display back- far as I know only ones with "B" series movements, which in my opinion is quite attractive.
I purchased a Breitling Chronomat 44 because of this episode 😊
Quite the infomercial for breitling. Would have loved them to showcase the production of the navitimer instead. Navitimer owner here.
Ernesto Gutierrez aa
They did it on the Chronomat because the Chronomat was the initial model to implement the use of their first in house movement
Matej Osyka they did it why chronomat is the bestseller! So they put the First inhousemovement in the Bestseller!
Great episode, thank you for the video.
WOW. Fantastic.
Geile Uhr habe sie selber und bin mehr als zufrieden danke für das Video :-)
& I love how the comment section here is full of pround Breitling Owners :D
Wonderful video! Thank you very much. I really learned a lot.
Proud owner breitling forever
The previous model chronomat is better than the current one.
true
Breitling. Not a bad watch
Love my Chronomat 44 B04 (GMT+Chrono). Peak-level (pre-Kern) Breitling 🪽B⚓️

Proud owner ✌️💛
How did I get here?
Does anyone know what model this was? I know BO1 chronomat 44. Reference?
AB0110
When paid endorsements from famous pilots and hollywood money grubbers are advertised it just makes me want to go out and find one to crush with a hammer.
So this is luxury? 👀
Now i know its pronounced briteling not brateling.
Me too. Sweet as a nut.
In spanish?...... 😔
Breitling is a nice watch, Rolex is a great watch... Patek Philippe is the ultimate watch. The price says it all..
i highly doubt that patek is the best, price doesn't show anything, rolex is for amature, they don't have much innovation as JLC, to me it's JLC and AP is the best but breitling is for sure bigger than rolex

"there is very little doubt or debate as to the #1 status of PP among all brands and hasn’t been for 3 decades."
Fanboy spotted. Resource not needed.
uh... how about Christies and Sotheby's auctions?
Senkol Z AP isn't even in the same realm as watches like Patek and Vacheron.
Breitling's biggest problem is that no one gives a crap about air races, or john travolta. They are so out of touch.
Why they changed the bracelet on the chronomat now.. Its ugly
Breitling sucks.

PATEK PHILIPPE

Michael Riera very well said.
No you don’t say you’re got it all worked out.😂😂
Apple watch kinda break down after 2 years n u need to buy the new version lol
