Dr Saeed, I found this lecture is fruitful for those whose wanna do Systematic Literature Review. Not at all Institutions have access to document search on Scopus, WOS,... how it possible to do SLR. I am eagerly await your response!
First of all, we have to scan all related keywords, For example, if my keyword is "smart home" so i have to find the associated words, as "intelligent home" or " cleave home".
If I m working on a topic that has two things, for example ( Broca's aphasia and Wernicke's aphasia) and I search them separately, is it okay to combine the number of papers all together in the PRISMA flow chart ? or if I'm using different key terms each time... because I only find around 150 papers per search.
When exporting literature from different databases they all have different headings and information of the literature. How shall I join all literature from all the databases together when they don’t have the same headings. Which headings have to be present. Thank you
Sir please add lecture " how to start writing a report, paper, book chapter and proposal I mean all research articles. How to initiate the writing all these without any plagrisum. And also how to cite journal.
@@saeedsharif Thanks again. The scopus advanced search home page you used to select and screen different articles? If i get the home page i will do my resrarch "Diarrhea diseases during COVID-19 Pandemic yrs of 2020 to 2021"
Prof. Saeed, thanks for your lecture video. It is very informative. Is it possible to screen papers based on "title"? Thanks for your respond in advance.
Very effective lecture Thank for your kind explanation :) I have one question it I only take Scopus records is good or o have to web of science for more records?
Thank you for your nice message. Including more databases would improve the comprehensiveness of your search. So, it would increase the value of your work. But of course, this expansion requires additional resources for completion.
Thanks so much for another great video, I do have a question. When you compare two platforms such as scopus and sciencedirect , do you have an specific method to retrieve the duplicated papers, or do you go through scanning the excel file manually one by one. Thanks in advance .
I sort both files alphabetically based on the title of the papers and then use this code to find the duplicates. =IF(A2=A1,1,0). It means if the information in a cell was the same as the cell above in the same column (the title column), it will get 1, otherwise zero. Then, I after changing the codes to numbers. I sort the results column. Next, I delete all with rows with 1. Hope it is clear! haha.... I should make a video to show you

Hi Professor, I'm a Master student in Agricultural Economics from Sri Lanka. I am planning to do a systematic review in nutrition security domain. My friend from University of Canterbury is willing to contribute to this task. Since this is our first systematic review, we need guidance in doing that. First I watched your videos and also currently watching other relevant videos from the internet. But since it is a systematic review, we need a lead professor (person who is having PhD) to guide us in the process. And hopefully we would like to submit journal, earliest in end of November and lastest would be either end of December or mid-January. Sir, if you know some academic who comes to your mind to do this task, kindly let me know. Thank you for your kind consideration.
The greatest and most understood lecture I have ever received. Please Dr. Saeed, can you share you mail? Do you have lectures on how to identify gaps and turn them to research objective. I really help on this. Thanks
