- Wanna see some sweet pixel art? In this video I take a few gummy candies and extrapolate character designs from them, in the cute and colourful style of the SNK fighting games for the Neo Geo Pocket Color!

Did anyone mention that “gom” is Korean for “bear” (곰), and “gomi” would be a totally natural way in Korean to turn it into a name (maybe like “Beary”)?
Somehow, that comment made me think of Teddie from Persona 4, which made me imagine Gomi spouting off as many terrible bear puns as he does, and I can't decide if that ruins or improves him.
As a man addicted to gummi candy and a connoisseur of pixel art, I can safely say that this has become one of my favourite videos on this platform.
The naming scheme is genius! Not only did you make some very stylized sprites, but also you created characters that would fit a fighting game. This goes to show just how many things can become characters in their own right. Very masterfully done.
Dude, it's your attention to detail that gets me every time.. Extra pixels on Fizz's hair, his belt, Shel's insignia, extra highlight pixels on Cora's face, etc.. My favorite in this cast has to be either Jemm or Fizz

The bear reminds me of the old Flash game Burrito Bison, where a wrestler gets sucked into the packaging of a bag of gummy bears and has to bounce and smash his way out.

I can already see this being a pocket sized fighting game irl. Call it "Food Fight" or something. Loved these designs, I think Fizz and Shel were my favorite.
I was thinking that most of the cast has a food theme. (Cora and Jemm need something else to make them fit the guys, though. Shouldn't be hard for Cora, but the only ring food I can think of is ring pops, and that's too specific.)

My favorite is Cora's pulse detail in the lettering with the tiny heart. Insanely good work. Your videos have reinvigorated my passion for this art style.
