The bear reminds me of the old Flash game Burrito Bison, where a wrestler gets sucked into the packaging of a bag of gummy bears and has to bounce and smash his way out.
One of my favorite things about your pixel art is watching you make it as simple as humanely possible, in color and size, while still keeping it dynamic and readable. I love simplicity in my own drawings, but you make me seem like a maximalist at times haha

If I remember, that's also the color limitation of the GBA - Only 4 colors per sprite, one is transparent so that's 3 actual colors per sprite.
Nah, the GBA is actually capable of more than that.
