1.I think ek entrance exam hona chaiye politicians k liye jo ye check kre ki unme decision making skills hai ya nahi, sath hi atleast basic chije jo ek leader me ho wo sari chije hai yaa nahi. Jo bhi ise clear kr le uski education kuch bhi ho wo kabil hoga/hogi.
      2. Voting se pehle har center me ek survey jaisa kuch ho. Jisme check box format me ummidwaro ki details ho like education, criminal records etc. har voter jo vote dene jaye use ye survey patra jama krna ho. Tab unhe parcha de diya jaye. Isse atleast 50% logo ko bhi jankari hogi to sahi chunav ho payega.

Your video is informative and showing our blind spot. But there is a small error in your video. The neonatal mortality rate in india you mentioned was wrong its ok I also got confused in my medical student days. You said it was "20% which means 20/100" but actually it was nearly 20/1000 we report it per 1000 live birth instead of 2% to get a good numerator. And those you mentioned for us China etc etc they were also per thousand live births not percent per 100 live births. Please correct it. References can be cited to indian govt reports or who reports.

See, it is a very valid point but the issue is that quality is a subjective term. How do you define quality education and how will you ensure that the quality standards are being followed. The problem with our country is the population. With such a huge population it becomes difficult to manage quality and when QC happens we have seen bribery and corruption to make sure that the matter is not further escalated. Due to the huge population, the primary objective of every Indian is to earn as much money as possible. So, the whole thing is completely related and providing quality education becomes a big challenge. What we can do is to go for a pilot project where we provide quality education as per ministry or global guidelines and observe the effects. Then we increase the sample size to follow the same pattern.

Second we are a democratic country hence we should be allowed to leave or enter the country whenever we want(legally of course). Third the reason why educated people do not take part in politics is because they know nothing can be changed. The government conducts raids on journalists if they speak against them. If you get stuck in a case then it would take literal years to get cleared of all charges even if you are innocent. Any person who knows not to get into this mess wouldn't involve themselves with politics.

One should always strive for an educated politician but should not confuse education as a gauge for good leadership.
At the end of the day, a good 'leader' is more desirable rather than a good academician.

People who want to enter the politics should give an exam which is full of questions which are based on logical reasoning. Like case studies and all. And there should be no pass or fail in it. Only the marks scored by poltician should be known to everyone. There is no need to study for exams like this because you will be answering the situations which you will face in future.

It's true that education doesn't guarantee intelligence, but the probability comparing the interlligence of an un-educated or poorly educated person to a well-educated person has always been straight forward. And, yea, there's people who have the best knowladge on their field and understanding and arn't much educated theoratically. Well, the best way to tackle this problem will be to initiate education standards for voter. And in a clear view, i don't see any discrimination there. There's other things too where education standards is a border, and that's not flagged as discrimination. Well, making a education standard or boundary for voters will be a better way to improve the country as per my perspective. I mean, literates in our country arn't even interested in voting due to the current statistic division in population, and i guess this will actually enable a real competition. Considering everything though, idk how that's gonna impact WORSE than current situation.
The problem that's in democrazy is that, most people vote for the candidate with more promises towards the people, and that most of the time just stays as a promise and the fact that these statements are presented to the mejority, that's mostly people from rural areas or illiterate skyrockets their chances of winning, and the person who can carry a country and can increase the devolopment ratio settles in the deep. And considering other well devoloped countries, the best way to tackle the whole thing will be to just increase the voter's education bar. Implementing such a thing will be a mess cause of outbreaks and protests against it, and IT'S DEMOCRAZY, mejority always can tackle the issue, so it's pretty much impossible to implement.

Education is not necessary for intelligence. While a basic education (say 10th pass) may be necessary for the basic communication/life skills, it's upon the people to elect their representative. The primary reason why maximum politicians don't have the basic qualification is that the voters haven't paid much heed to education of their representative till today. Why so? Maximum voters are possibly uneducated. Only situation will tell us what happens when maximum voters get educated. Will they pay heed to educational qualification primarily? Or will they choose their leader by looking at their ideology, oration skills and influence? History says in most circumstances the latter takes place, which I believe is rightful; though, a change in example wouldn't be bad to witness

The video is interesting. You left the audience hanging.
Actually, what I think is that education as you said in the video does not define intelligence. But education can do one thing, i.e., it can bring leaders who are well refined.
A demand of educated leaders will then concentrate the opportunities into the group of people who are getting better education. Then, there will be the answer that only UR and few groups of SCs STs and OBCs are getting education. This will then become a reservation issue. People will complain the Rich get more and better opportunities. So, education or educated person (whom we want as our leaders) will be concentrated in a very small percentage of people.
Actually, at the present circumstance we do not need people who are graduates or illiterates(uneducated), we need people who are good by heart who care for people as a human not using others feelings and aspirations as votes and enjoy their political career.

    1) What does democracy means to you?
    2) Describe the importance of equality, feminism etc.
    3) If you were given full power of the country for a day, what would you do?
These are just some basic questions but everyone have different interpretations. And these answers should be published to citizens.

I would choose the third option. The major issue is that the voters are not well informed about the candidates to make a proper choice. This would also leave space for intelligent but uneducated people to also enter into politics. For example those who rose from the grounds through movements and such. Formal education may not have been an option for them. Also it also makes it much more true to freedom and liberty as no one is prevented from participating because of their circumstances but allows the voter to make a proper informed choice.

my heart wholeheartedly goes out to the civil servant aspirants who spend years of their lives to graduate, pass different levels of the exam, just to fail in the interview process, and then try again. Most individuals devote close to a decade to studying the constitution, legislation, history, and politics to its very core and have a genuine understanding of India functions and how it should in the future. The corruption and the delays in the same are deplorable, and the fate of many comes to an abrupt standstill. There are also the successful ones who do end up in high positions just to be pushed around by these very "netas" who couldn't care less beyond the permanency of the position. The system is designed to make you corrupt, if you don't oblige to the ones above you, get transferred, reprimanded, suspended, and black-marked. It murders the aspiration they started with to serve the nation. They should be the ones ruling the country.

Mohak- > Bureaucracy can serve as a resource for politicians, yet the ultimate authority still resides with the politician. It can assist politicians in the implementation of policies, but it may not necessarily aid in strategic thinking or the determination of the most optimal choices. When a well-educated individual holds decision-making power within a ministry, the potential outcomes tend to be more favorable. WDYT?
