  • Step back in time and join us for a stroll around the incredibly charming village of Culross!
Culross is a well-preserved example of a 17th century Scottish burgh located less than an hour away from Edinburgh. The village is full of colourful houses, cobbled lanes, gardens and cosy cafes.
Culross has featured in film and television series, namely in Outlander as the village of Cranesmuir.
Visit Culross Abbey, the Mercat Cross, Culross Palace and Gardens, Culross Town House and nearby Dunimarle Castle.

The sheer lack width in some of the streets and lanes are amazing. Trying to fathom how two carts would pass each other, plus the inhabitants walking around. A fabulous insight. ❤
