This is a great presentation. However, most of the advertised features are not available to developers. Many features have been either disabled or restricted. The API gives output based on a 250W panel and dimensions that have not been in use since 2015 and there is no way to enter except the address. There are many variables that we should be able to adjust but the API does not allow it. Are we missing something or is the API advertised for what to come in years from now? We asked in many Google forums. Let's hope the Google experts here respond.
For years I've been hoping Project Sunroof would have data for my town. Today I received your emailed ad and yet again hoped you had collected more data but no, nothing new just a blank map with our neighboring town completely colored like it was in August 2015. Stop asking me to complete customer surveys and business development forms. Complete the original Project Sunroof intent of showing the average person their home's solar potential without a pay wall. Easy access to this information will spur many homeowners to get off their couch and seek solar quotes helping this country make progress on a clean energy transition and keep a habitable climate on this planet.

Modern solar panels are designed not to be reflective. They wouldn't work very well if they reflect light
