@@SourceADV That is helpful. Could you post still photos with closeups of the inside of the airbox, so I can see the battery attachment to frame and other wiring? Thanks.
I have a stock 21 yz250, could you do me a huge favor and tell me if this list is right/ will work? So Ill need a higher output stator, and just a headlight/taillight kit?
@@SourceADV I want to put a headlight and tail light onto my yz250, and am wondering what I will need to make them powered, im assuming a higher output stator?
@brando1664 did you watch the first video in this series? It’s in the description, it goes over everything to make it happen, this video is just about making a simpler wiring harness and horn situation.
@@SourceADV thank you, just watched it. That clarifies for me. Im gonna try to power headlight without battery and see how It goes, if not ill copy your exact setup
@brando1664 I don’t think that will work with an LED light, if the power gets too low the light will go off not dim which has really big safety implications. You might be able to run a very small incandescent bulb.
Thanks for the quality video series!
You’re welcome!
Maybe I missed something, does your stator charge the battery, or do you have to charge it after every ride?
Yes, the rewound stator charges the battery.
Still planning on doing the wiring diagram? Appreciate the info your videos have! Very helpful
Sure thing! Which one would you like, the lightweight version or the one with tusk DSport kit
The lightweight version would be awesome!
@@eatthemedia3424 Copy that! Give me a few days, thank you for your patience!
No, thank you!

Do you still have the wiring diagram? The link doesnt work
I don’t, sorry, it was hosted on my website that I don’t have anymore. Sorry man
I am a newbie to electrical and have the parts to install this simple version. What gauge and quality of wire should I use?
For which items?
@@SourceADV The wire for the harness that will connect to the leads on reg/rectifier, headlight, headlight hi/low/horn switch, taillight, battery, fuse and relay.
I think I used 14 gauge for the battery charging leads and 16 for everything else, but I can’t remember exactly

Sorry man. I don’t have this bike anymore and don’t have any photos. Sorry about that
