Your comprehension of effective Kuzushi is second to none, I see so many Aiki practitioners and even Judo players without a clue

Master Sheriff, please do more videos like this with other techniques! There are so many things explained here that make a world of difference. Gave me a lot of new ideas and tips I can share with my students.

Good video, attention however to the possible kaeschi wasa, if the thumb of the seizure is placed inside the hand of uké, it can apply the yubi wasa. always at the base of the thumb, but not in the hand.

Shihan, I'm not being sycophantic here. But from the videos I've seen so far, there isn't one SINGLE (even among the Dai Shihan) shihan with didactics half as well explained and updated to modernity, as you are here. As a Bujinkan "young" shodan, my senseis here get even "angry" so much I quote you or talk about your videos... LOL... But I believe STRONGLY in Handori and REAL LIFE Sparring, as much as you do, and that Bujinkan MUST addapt to the fact that jabs, crosses, uppercuts, mawashi geri, yoko geri and AL SORT of Kicks EXIST (therefore we MUST think of HENKA to THESE). Just this SIMPLE PERCEPTION makes yous stand above ground, and you don't manifest any pride about it (which shows you have real honorable Musha spirit, and that should be recognised). God BLESS you and keep UP the GOOD WORK.

    • @AkbanOrg

      Definitely. It makes the technique.

It’s called, if I remember correctly, convergent evolution.
