From Detroit subscriber : Dear Sensei Yossef , excellent Your demonstrations & explanation is good. Next AKBAN CLUB I wish will be located in Canton Michigan (2019 )
This is so good. Your instruction is very technical and clear. Captures a strong traditional vibe though, do you have your students live spar at your school?
@@AkbanOrg Oh God my instructor in the Bujinkan needs to do this in our lessons. If only that fool would see the importance of sparring and not just Kata training.
@@Jerry-uc1pn even an instructor who only teaches the forms has something to teach, I found that coupling my Bju with a Judo class helped me understand both better and Judo is all about sparing.
SON MUY BUENOS TUS VIDEOS. NO ME PIERDO NI UNO SOLO. FELICITACIONES. ME GUSTARIA QUE ESTEN SUBTITULADOS EN ESPAÑOL. GRACIAS. SALUDOS CORDIALES DESDE ARGENTINA
great video! btw, the whizer throw is found in sumo kimarite under the name of kote nage, and is one of my favorite throws! when i started bjj i did that throw agaisnt one of the students who was a bit more advanced and since he didnt know about the technique it worked quite well the first time, alot of fun!
Brilliant demonstration and explanation by Sensei Shihan Yossi- as always. Love these video demonstrations, but I want to know how he got Colin Farrell to spar with him?!?
I can't wait to see MMA guys telling you that this wouldn't work. Combat systems like Ninjutsu, Silat, Kali, even Systema aren't for show, they're designed to incapacitate opponent as quickly as possible. They're not sports. As for this arm lock, it looks effective against guys who like to push people around.
@AKBAN I just wished that you had a better instructor in Greece..From what i've seen from their videos they dont deserve their ranks. Much respect to you and your research teacher Yossi Sheriff i recommend that you check (Kaze no Ryu channel)ogawa ryu koppo jutsu although they took the ok from japan i do not know if their lineage is true..But still from what ive seen from their techniques they work.. Wish you the best.
I think it would also be helpful to address the options while getting into the lock, the guard on the way in and strikes etc which will help facilitate it
Once I watch a video lesson about gosha/musha dori I am able to start the day jajaja. Thank you so much! 🥋😬
Always welcome, Jose

Calling one’s own teacher a fool is counter productive
@@AkbanOrg 😂😂😂 right just find someone that actually teaches correctly you're funny man

Well, MMA is a respectful combat sport that has rules to keep everyone safe.
I think we can learn from MMA about checking technique in sparring
