As someone who got a solar array installed several years back that was as big as possible with the SRECs and the credits, it wasn't enough to cover 100%. Still definitely worth it, but now they won't give me any credit to buy additional panels. Just make sure they spec you out for at least 110% of your annual usage. If you plan on getting a 2nd or 3rd EV, it might be worthy to aim for 120%.

Yes, but then the car will require a physical nag on the steering wheel. Way better experience without the shades.
