For me the best fragrances I’ve tried this year are Quartana Wolfsbane, Blackbird x Cold Cave Death, and Toskovat Age of Innocence. Keep up the good content Justin! Edit: forgot ELDO’s Jasmin et Cigarette
How did you like BDK’s Gris Charnel? It may have been Justin (or TLTG, or Ashton) but one of my main TH-cam personalities is a fan and likes the original more than the extrait.
best designer so far boss scent elixir but wont buy until price comes down at discounters still not tried jpg beau paradise garden or ch bad boy cobalt elixir other wise designer releases have been pretty lame looks like designer game is finished, prices are now touching niche
Yeah blind bought Uma Gumma after you mentioned it on your members video, and yeah it is different lol. I wore it two days in a row and it did grew on me quickly though. I couldn't stop smelling it by day 2.
Justin ... great as always! Would like to see your take on new Marc-Antoine Barrois fragrance Tilia! It came few days ago and it's on the market here in Europe. It's for this kind of a weather so there's my suggestion if it's available in the USA.
Love this list- Really want to try the Brioni one- sounds great to be wearing tomatoes :) truly a favorite spring/summer smell. Love Moustache EDP!!! Super excited to check some of the others out! BTW- Got a sample of Fougere D'Argent and it was wonderful! Looking forward to a full wearing, but loved the first impressions. Thank you for all of your recommendations!
Have you tried the newest fragrance from Monsillage 'La Haute Route'? It was just added to the sampler package and is... Unique. You know how Lalique Homme Equus has a kind of barnyard aspect to it? La Haute Route is a bit like that but in a winter alpine mode. A pop of menthol and pine at the start, there's this distant smokiness, like a distant fireplace when outdoors in the snow (the opoponax?) and a subtle light vanilla. Really funky. I think of it like having a rugged alpine dairy farmer sexiness to it. I don't think it'll pull a single compliment, does anyone find an Belgian dairy farm to be attractive? Other than me of course 😂. I'm not sure when I'll wear it, but I think I'm going to grab a small 7.5ml travel vial. Something about the funky barnyardiness keeps bringing me back, just like Equus does. 100% unsafe blind buy, but interesting for sure if you get a chance to add a sample to your basket.
My 10 top Fragrances are: 10. POLO Black 9. Kilian's Angel's Share 8. Gucci Guilty 7. Versace Dylan Blue 6. Dior Savauge 5. Versace Eros 4. Robanne Phantom 3. Invictus 2. Georgio Armani Acqua Di Gio 1. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue 1, 2, & 3 is All I need
I've been getting my nose of a bunch of fragrances this year looking for the perfect Spring/Summer scent. Something different but beautiful and long lasting. I understand long lasting and fresh aren't always bed fellows, but I'm searching. Went to the Penhaligons store, like them but the incense doesn't scream spring/summer. I did get Alula, like it. Homme by Aaron Terrence Hughes is next level and new for me this year. I liked Boss The Scent Elixir when smelt this year too. Oh, I always thought Acqua Di Parma fragrances just aren't me but I did enjoy Colonia Essenza. I question how long it lasts. Anyway, the search continues
That Alghabra sounds amazing. I have Scent of Paradise already it's nice, but the opening is so much like Silver Mountain Water. Actually, it's more like Club De nuit Sillage that it's hard to justify me paying 200 bucks for that 50ml lol
I wasn't aware that the former creative director of Amouage went to Thameen, but I can certainly say that increases my interest in the brand drastically.
also got silky woods elixr earlier this year, so far best fragrance of 2024. it's a parfum concentration and it lasts longer than anything GB has to offer.
Indie houses are often “one-man operations” (perhaps a small team of 1-5 people involved in all aspects of the brand, but often 1-2). Niche brands are usually larger entities with greater distribution.
It’s coming. I typically film my videos a week in advance, so it’s a push for me to put something out right away. But it’s already been filmed. Will try to get it all edited and ready this week.
So far this year, Vertus Monarch and Sole Patchouli, Bois 1920 Vento nel Vento, Terroni, and Masque Milano Lost Alice have been good buys. Have a decant haul coming. Mostly Alghabra, Jovoy, and Pantheon Roma. Big sale at Maxaroma.
Siesta is just AMAZING fragrance, love it and its a beast, it last over 12 hours on my skin, as you said beautiful lemon/honey and Iris fragrance, for me its 10/10. Now pleaseeee try again from Ramon Monegal Faisa, its also amazing, its oud/saffron and again super beast, love to see your review on that one. PD Eyes from Seven Hills is another 10/10 🤝
I'm digging the video and list. I know that I can count on you to have a list that NOT just "run of the mill". Love Brioni Fragrances but they don't get a lot of love..STAY SAFE BROTHER
Ive been wearing dior homme 2020 ever since i just started collecting, it was my first fragrance, but i recently got a 50ml, old bottle produced in 2019 funny enough, and this scent has had the biggest impact on me this year, idk if its reformulation or maceration but the older bottle is deeper, darker, has more elemi and is as a bonus much more long lasting than my more new 100ml bottle, it reminds me of how i first smelled dior homme 2020, this is my unicorn fragrance :) Also precious liquids scents ive been loving🙏💯
Jc have you tried Divine Tentation Reine de Saba? I had it on yesterday and this guy stopped and said darn you smell good what’s the name? I told him that it was Queen of Sheba couldn’t remember the actual name.. has that happened to you before? By Mathieu Nardin perfumer I have moustache edp it is exactly how you explained.
What??? It’s likely either bad bottle or bad nose (just kidding). If it was honestly one of the worst you’ve ever gotten, it was probably a bad bottle. But probably, you’re one of the few that have smelled it and totally disliked that scent. Brioni Intense EDP is among the most widely liked of the house, which is a quiet, respected underdog in the designer game. Do you smell a lot of designers, maybe you’re just not used to how generic they smell nowadays (compared to niche)?
I bought it because I heard so much about it...and I don't think I have ever bought any designer fragrance so far..so may be you are right. Anyway, thanks so much for the message and always looking forward to videos about all these amazing fragrances.. That Thameen Chords sound wonderful and I am looking into it. @@nateriley4067
This is always the risk with blind buying. Just remember that just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it’s bad, and at the same time, just because someone else loves something doesn’t mean you will too!
I understand and you are right..but as you know, we perfume lovers expect little much from the perfume we buy..and I am also one of the perfume coholic hahaha..spent so much of my money on perfumes and always looking for some thing new and different.. I heard so much about Brioni Intense and I am disappointed..And by the way we have the same interest in perfumes, so I always looking forward to your recommendations..@@stayfreshproductions
Sometimes i dont care about the fragrances,im here for the narrating!
If you like Ummagumma, check out Sorriso by Profumum Roma. A house you would really enjoy, and surprised I haven’t seen PR on the channel!

I need to try those Brioni fragrances! I'm a fan of the Lalique house which Brioni is a part of.
I need to try town & country
Mam Siesta took me by surprise. Its sooooo good man and it lasts and projects phenomenal. Amazing scent
I think the only new ones I've experienced this year are Gris Charnel and New York Intense.
How did you like BDK’s Gris Charnel? It may have been Justin (or TLTG, or Ashton) but one of my main TH-cam personalities is a fan and likes the original more than the extrait.
Nice ones
My favorite so far this year are, Lamar by Kajal, Porpora by TT and Bon Monsuier by Rogue.
I’m getting ready to check out Oud Maracujá. Hopefully that takes my best smell of the year so far.

Parfumo or Fragrantica
Have not tried Mustache but got the tux and absolutely love it.

That Eye of Seven Hills is a beast. You are correct, I also have Side Effect and it’s as if it takes Side Effect and kicks it up a notch.

I’m not really into clone fragrances!
So… what are your thoughts on ‘Jasmine et Cigarette’ from Etat Libre d’Orange? Since you seem to like the scent combination.
Haven’t tried it yet!
Love, love Mustache!
Justin, what are your thoughts on Zernell Gillie's Disco?
