I was very surprised that the brand shut down. Very sad. I heard about them all through Covid. Just too many brands to choose from, honestly. People say that there's room for everyone, and the truth is that there honestly isn't.
JD Glow is gone, but they just rebranded. If you go to their old site it will redirect you. But they are still in process, they JUST shut down.
I have been through two painful declutters in my life, due to makeup getting old, a lot of it at once. The worst to go off is drugstore lipstick, and I am completely cured from buying any more! Given the temps where you live, I hope your creams and lipsticks are in a climate-controlled room. I lost a lot of lipstick once in a non- AC room.
Room recently got AC but my makeup has now been through two scorching summers, one in the boot of my car, the other in a non-ac room, before that it was kept in a cool dark place year round. Every time I open something I expect it to smell bad/have a strange texture/have something else wrong with it, it's only a matter of time lol

I just recently decluttered my lime crime velveteens! 😢sad day but was only holding onto them for nostalgia.
Oh man I feel you, it's hard to let go sometimes. Good on you for doing it though, unfortunately we can't keep it all for forever
I do enjoy the swatches. It kind of helps me make up my mind on the colors. I know I’m just not gonna use ones. I forgot were there and need to repurchase. I will probably get rid of my old formula Mac lipstick that’s on the list, that’s my next Declutter. I really do like the newer formula so much better. They are much longer lasting.
I use my eyeliners to write my groceries and to do lists, since I came to realize that I'm NOT an eyeliner person, no matter how cute/cheap/easy to apply the eyeliner may be. I already panned one, I'm using up a double ended one now XD

💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 I'm glad they weren't all bad and you could save some to try and play with, I pulled out a lipstick the other day, very very dark purple and it smelt bad (never used it) I was like, ok... might still be ok.. tried it on, lips started burning and was like NOPE... that's gotta go! Never used it, super sad... and it was my fav purple... as you said, if you don't use it you're gonna lose it! And I did lose it 😓
I recently declutterred a bunch of my JD Glow liners because they went bad :(
I loved them and I got a ton of use out of them but I was still sad to see them go. I think I threw out about 10 but I still have a few left, mostly the glitters. I even had to toss some of the newer ones with the square packaging.
The colors of these are all so gorgeous! Sorry you had to let some of them go.
I have so many wet glitters that I never use, so I know some have to have gone bad by now. Thanks for the reminder😅
I'm moving to 30% smaller apartment, so I just did major declutter trying to keep only abaolute faves

I haven't decluttered anything recently, but I've been thinking about trying to do a project pan. The trouble is I don't wear makeup very often, and when I do, it's usually just eyeshadow, mascara, tinted brow gel, and something on my lips, but some of the things I want to pan are complexion products.
I also do have stuff I should retire and want to repurpose as art supplies (mostly eveshadow palettes), but I know it'll be a while before I actually get around to using them as art supplies, and until then, even though I realistically probably still won't use them as eyeshadows, I still want the option of being able to use them as eyeshadows.
I also have stuff I should retire due to age, but they're things I still wear sometimes and they still work well, and I don't see the point in repurchasing the Naked 3 and Naked Heat when the ones I have still work fine.

All that shaking you had to do made me wonder if you would want to try a nail polish shaker for those? Don't know if you already have one, but I got mine from Amazon for $35 USD, "ONiLAB Mini Vortex Mixer with Touch Function".
I classify myself as an occasional nail polish user - and I'm surprised how much use I've gotten from it. With my nail polish and random other stuff. 😂 So I can personally vouch for that one.
