And selecting Zero at the game start forfeits the 4th armor and also there are only 2 armor capsules Zero can't get it only X can ,but nice video and thanks.
Damn a big F U to capcom for making it such a challenge for Zero to get these items. Piece of cake with X but Zero nah man they really wanted to give you a challenge
Just did it twice with just Hyper Dash, and once with just Speedster. I put the game speed on "slow" in Options before loading my save file, else I'd truly break my hands, but it is possible. You just have to do an optimized dash wall kick climbing up, and swiftly "bump" into O and X buttons for a minimal dash jump, then you do a full jump forward, and air dash upwards, keep going forward, and ta da. Now trying without either.
Ok, neither Hyper Dash nor Speedster are required. After days of trying, I JUST did it. Holy ****. In case it matters, I had Jumper on, and was using Red Zero. Seriously NOT for the faint of heart. Really, really, REALLY perfect execution is required.
@@HajimotoSaito Shouldn't have had the ending be decided by RNG tbh, they truly just give you the middle finger if you got all hearts with Zero and then the game decides to take him away from you
How do you get the Hearts in Axel the Red's and Squid Adlers stage as Zero? Or, more specifically, what do you need for Zero to be able to destroy or get past the black V boxes? What BESIDES Gaia Armor X can destroy these?
Only Hyper Dash OR Speedster is sufficient for the Grizzly heart. Just did it with both Red Zero and Black Zero. Not a challenge for everyone... But it's doable if you understand what you must do. Now trying it without either to see if it is possible...
Holy shit. You can get the Grizzly Heart with Zero WITHOUT either Hyper Dash or Speedster, but it is EXTREMELY difficult. In case it counts, I had Jumper equipped, and was using Red Zero. You have to do things VERY optimally for this to work. I don't know if it is possible to do it WITHOUT Jumper also. Or even with Black Zero + Jumper.
I know this comment is old but for those who want to know if it's possible then: + Izzy Glow: you can't get it without hyper dash OR speedster. + Grizzly: you can with only hyper dash but it's almost impossible without tool assisted. Here's the proof: th-cam.com/video/krfN08BABhM/w-d-xo.html ... If you are playing X legacy collection, i suggest turn on rookie hunter mode after getting 2 achievements: "As Long As I Have This Saber" and "You're Quick, Man" so you do not need to sacrifice any parts for energy.
@@kanekikane6862 Yeah, just did it now, thrice: Once with Red Zero + Hyper Dash, once with Black Zero + Hyper Dash, and once with Red Zero + Speedster. Once you learn how to pull it off, it's pretty doable (but still difficult to learn, certainly not for everyone). You just have to optimize climbing up the spike, and do a lowest-height dash jump before finally leaping forward and up as high as possible, and air dash tilted upwards. With Speedster, even the method from this video seems like it might be possible, without the quick, short dash jump. To preserve my hands, I did it in the "Slow" settings from the Options menu, which we can enable before loading up a save file. Now I'm trying it without EITHER. Not sure if it is possible. On a TAS level, I think, maybe, it might be. But on a human level, it is definitely going to be really damn hard, if at all possible. As for the one from Glow, that one indeed seems outright impossible without one of the two, shamefully.
@@kanekikane6862 After more attempts, it seems that whether without either it is possible or not will depend on whether or not we can do 2 of those quick dash jumps before leaping with a high, normal jump, instead of just 1. If everything is truly frame-perfect, then just maybe it's possible to do those jumps. Else, I believe it is impossible. Replacing the two quick jumps for a single, slightly longer jump does not seem to be sufficient to cover the small, missing distance.
@@kanekikane6862 Ok, with Jumper, it seemed as if it allows you to get up the spikes ever-so-slightly quicker, giving you just enough invincibility frames... to reach RIGHT NEXT to the heart, but not actually get it. Really, really hard to pull it off. But it seemed as if just maybe it is possible, without Hyper Dash or Speedster (but with Jumper). Without any parts, I got really close, too, but I don't think it is possible, maybe not even in TAS level. But with the extremely minor help from Jumper? Ultimate Armor is a superset of Fourth Armor, but nothing replaces the Zero Buster, so to have a complete game save file, you must start with Zero.
To get the heart tank in crescent grizzly stage you have to use the invincibility frames before dying right?

Damn, so Speedster is needed for Grizzly's Heart Tank. I really thought Jumper can be used.
