Loved the broadcast!!! I applaud David on how he stuck to the basics regarding walking in the Spirit...Word, wisdom, whisper, wonders! No jumping through hoops, implying only "special people" hear God, or manifest wonders. And I loved that David stated that Prophetic words from the Lord come when the Holy Spirit chooses, not on demand, though we can certainly ask. So well balanced!

    • @JBly4

He didn't imply he was special when he told the story of reading 40 chapters a day at age 11 before locking himself away and not leaving until he encountered the holy Spirit of God that spontaneously and without advertising launched a ministry on his behalf that has gone global making him a millionaire? Interesting. Must be commonplace then. Lol
Completely Spirit led alliteration teaching to boot! Haha.
      Come on now.

@@JBly4@JBly4 I know several folks in ministry personally who began preaching the Gospel at age 11 and spent hours in the Word at very young ages, just like David, as well as King David, Joseph, and Samuel in the Bible. Walking in the Spirit and manifesting spiritual gifts is supposed to be commonplace, yes, and is the natural progression after surrendering to Him and becoming available. The dozen videos I have watched by David have been solidly based on scripture. And I know what it means to receive revelation reading scripture, and again, it is not the off-the-wall nonsense others have been selling for 80+ years. It is important to weed out error and teach based on taking scripture in context...Sola Scriptura. But don't throw the baby out with the proverbial bathwater, and be careful to not bear false witness against brethren.

Of course I could have mentioned how the 3 examples from scripture given were extremely special people, shadows of Christ even. Comparing David Hernandez' story with theirs proves my point...lol
In fact I could have made many more comments. Instead I thought one obvious point where the og commenter was clearly wrong and a gentle chiding on their overabundant praise for what many people in the comments saw as overwhelmingly troublesome might be cause for self reflection. Guess that was to much to ask. Perhaps I could have been gentler. My apologies commonsense.

32:15 The Holy Laughter thing really gets me. When I was told by a pastor in a sermon the story of Charles Wesley and John Wesley being overcome with "holy laughter," I really paused and had to research it more myself instead of just accepting it as true. One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is self-control. Uncontrollablw hysteria, to me, screams of demonic influence or the flesh.

This was amazing guys, I have heard bad opinion about David Hernandez, but I can honestly say, I feel that every time I listen or watch one of his videos I usually come away with something powerful and his attitude is very humble and sincere. That’s not to say that if someone is sincere, they will always be correct in their doctrine but he has a solid foundation and good heart. It’s because of a video of his I watched a few years back that ultimately lead to receiving the gift tongues. Mind you I had already been seeking God about it but his explanation of it really helped a lot. To get my mind off of the flesh and yield to the spirit. I was filled with Joy and it was spiritually rich season of my life once I received the gift.

Yielding your life to the spirit of God would be called salvation. Picking up your cross. Denying your flesh. All teachings throughout scripture.
David Diga Hernandez was not teaching that. He was teaching another gospel of you allowing the Holy Spirit that is already in you to finally do something. You don't allow the Spirit to act, you allow demons into your life by continually sinning (1john 5:18). The Spirit, however, comes and goes and acts as he pleases (John 3:8). And is promised to ever be with you when you believe.
That is not what David Hernandez was teaching. Do not be deceived.

    • @danielargo7221
      @danielargo7221 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Sure, any time the Spirit moves in the book of Acts. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. Have you never been in prayer and sensed a greater closeness with God or felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in a manner that doesn't always seem to be active in that way? Of course as believers, we have the Holy Spirit within us always, but that does not preclude or limit God from giving us moving and intimate interactions that are extraordinary. I'm pretty sure the Holy Spirit shaking the house where the believers in Acts were praying likely came with a tangible (tangible meaning spiritually discerned and/or felt) presence of the Holy Spirit. The text says they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They were already believers and this is after Pentecost. Sounds like another encounter with the Spirit that brought greater boldness to me. The emphasis on the house being shaken suggests an external force, not the Holy Spirit already within. When we say that we have the Holy Spirit, and then limit that Spirit in any way after that, it's likely our own ignorance. Case in point, what happens to Jesus after being baptized by John? Heaven opens and the Spirit descends like a dove upon him? The Father speaks from heaven. Jesus is the God-man. Do you really think that he didn't already have the Holy Spirit within him? This is the first time I have heard this guy. What I am seeing in the comment section is deeply disturbing. This guy may be a false teacher and/or charlatan, or he might be a genuine brother who teaches some things people disagree with. The reality is, that throwing around accusations and labels without giving reasons that would help people like myself become a bit more informed as to why I should avoid him, is a sin. It is wrong, ungodly, and a mark of pride by the accuser. So for all those calling RR to repent or David a false teacher without giving sound Biblical reasons, perhaps you need to get back to the Word that you claim to love and revere.

That is one of the big mistakes King Saul made, he stopped listening to God's instructions and listened to people. If King Saul had stayed obedient to God, Jesus would have come from his line (1 Samuel 13) . So while you may get a lot of pushback for doing what God is asking of you, ultimately he will bless you more than you can possibly imagine.

    • @timstanley8201

The pre-adamic world idea is problematic... Because it's not in scripture , it's not there. I listened to a talk on it and the use of scripture was very messy, choosing to overlook the obvious meaning for a secret meaning and seperating verses from their context a lot. Ex - 2 peter 3:6 "... and that by means of these, the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished." Question , what world was washed away by water? Obvious answer - the world before Noah's flood. Consider the context of chapter 2-3 and that Peter already referenced Noah in 2:5. The pre-adamic theory speaker used it to say there was a world, with civizations before Adam and that 3:5 is about a flood before Adam... Which is shown where in the genesis account? (Insert Gap theory, wink wink, also not there)

The holy breath of father is in all of us. Breath is not a person but is personable. Everyone assumes john 14 the helper that is sent is holy spirit. A helper the Lord sends is an angel. Angels are sent as helper to humans. The breath of father is like a rushing stiff breeze and can be stirred by spirits in the air. Holy breath is not a person but is personable. He learned how to fake miracles from Benny Hinn. Those who receive healing from him are carefully selected and then the carnival begins. The deaf who could hear in part, leave hearing in part. The blind who could see in part, leave, seeing in part. A smooth operator indeed, yet no discernment from this channel. Since you are so bold as to criticize Chris Roseborough for his sarcasm, and rightly so, why not also dare to call out a charlatan who draws people after himself. The biblical teaching is not difficult to find or understand. Words matter. The indwelling of the Spirit is the promise of every believer. Intimacy sounds good but is not a biblical term or concept. Why not use those that are such as: promised, indwelling, comforter, Spirit of truth, power, etc. Instead, by focusing on an emotional experience, the truth is replaced with feeling which come and go and can deceive us and with experiences which God has not promised and leave the weak feeling like rejects. So many promise that which God has not and do so for money that the way of truth is drawn into disrepute.
Why not instead, preach the Word, alone! David's formula adds to the word what God has not promised. Do not add anything to it! We have been warned!

I hear ya. I had similar thoughts about a different YTer. Based on scripture, I decided to think the best of them and not prematurely judge their intentions. I was wrong for being easily offended and I repent of that.
With DDH, there are things I might not agree with, as with most of my brothers and sisters in Christ. But I do appreciate his ministry and if you actually follow him you might find he does not necessarily fit this characature you have painted.
I hear him continually reminding the audience that it’s Jesus who heals them, not David Diga. He never charges for his events. I notice a reverence and humility from him as to what God is doing in his ministry and he continually gives God the glory.
There are certain things he does that honestly are not my preference or that I do not think are ideal - for those things I pray for him.
Beyond that, I’ve really grown to appreciate how the Lord is using him, flaws and all, especially through his teaching. I see positive fruit of his ministry in my life and in my newly saved husband’s life. He doesn’t strike me as someone who pontificates on complex theological concepts but what the Lord has done through him is that he’s shown me weaknesses in my own walk that I need to more closely align with scripture. He’s really helped me to get back to the basics and has encouraged me to cultivate more spiritual discipline, and challenge some things in my life that could be idols.
So just saying, he does not need to be your fav, but I pray you’d consider taking a humble and gentle approach with the things you see as troublesome.

@@ElleeZee289 the problem is that instead of teaching the Bible He promotes his experience of experiencing The Holy Spirit. As if he found a way how to experience The Holy Spirit. Go listen to his resent testimony about experiencing the Holy Spirit. All of this is really similar to new age occult stuff. I would encourage your husband to listen to Mike Winger. It will be a lot more beneficial for him if he is a new believer.

Jesus warned us of false Christs, false prophets. They are everywhere these days.
