32:15 The Holy Laughter thing really gets me. When I was told by a pastor in a sermon the story of Charles Wesley and John Wesley being overcome with "holy laughter," I really paused and had to research it more myself instead of just accepting it as true. One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is self-control. Uncontrollablw hysteria, to me, screams of demonic influence or the flesh.
It is difficult to discern as there is the genuine and there is the counterfeit, and sometimes they look similar. We must be close to God and the Holy Spirit. Here is a show that you may find interesting: th-cam.com/video/7wQS3TMVlJU/w-d-xo.html

This was amazing guys, I have heard bad opinion about David Hernandez, but I can honestly say, I feel that every time I listen or watch one of his videos I usually come away with something powerful and his attitude is very humble and sincere. That’s not to say that if someone is sincere, they will always be correct in their doctrine but he has a solid foundation and good heart. It’s because of a video of his I watched a few years back that ultimately lead to receiving the gift tongues. Mind you I had already been seeking God about it but his explanation of it really helped a lot. To get my mind off of the flesh and yield to the spirit. I was filled with Joy and it was spiritually rich season of my life once I received the gift.
GOD closed my physical eyes when I was suppose to attend a pastor's invitation to a fellowship. I went the other side of the space, The LORD closed my eyes then I thought to myself that the pastor will not 'play hokey' with me, he will be honest and truthful than I went to that space again then GOD opened my eyes to see the group.... Wow!!! When we pray 'to hide me in Your Wings' YOU are my refuge.... GOD WILL DO His Miracles, AMEN. Hide us from our enemy

I know it sounds weird, but i myself had an encounter with the Holy Spirit when I was 14, that was a lot like this. It was beautiful and amazing. I left the room and my awesome youth group leader (I know how rare those are lol) took my face in her hand afterwards and smiled. It was evident to her what had happened. I will never forget it - so many of us forget our God is supernatural, and supernatural experiences of people with Him are all over scripture. But, it doesn't happen all the time and thats totally OK.
I was then reading 1 Samuel 24 onwards... I didn't understand how GOD made it such that David could secretly cut off the robe of King Saul.... So GOD showing me this is how GOD made it... So we can pray for His Presence to 'hide' things from view or 'reveal' it to our naked eyes

Are you people not aware that entire, isolated tribes have come to know and follow Jesus based solely on supernatural revelation without any access to scripture? Some of you are VERY confused and fearful about the fact that God can actually do whatever He wants. He doesn’t need your permission or theological approval.
Sure, any time the Spirit moves in the book of Acts. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. Have you never been in prayer and sensed a greater closeness with God or felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in a manner that doesn't always seem to be active in that way? Of course as believers, we have the Holy Spirit within us always, but that does not preclude or limit God from giving us moving and intimate interactions that are extraordinary. I'm pretty sure the Holy Spirit shaking the house where the believers in Acts were praying likely came with a tangible (tangible meaning spiritually discerned and/or felt) presence of the Holy Spirit. The text says they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They were already believers and this is after Pentecost. Sounds like another encounter with the Spirit that brought greater boldness to me. The emphasis on the house being shaken suggests an external force, not the Holy Spirit already within. When we say that we have the Holy Spirit, and then limit that Spirit in any way after that, it's likely our own ignorance. Case in point, what happens to Jesus after being baptized by John? Heaven opens and the Spirit descends like a dove upon him? The Father speaks from heaven. Jesus is the God-man. Do you really think that he didn't already have the Holy Spirit within him? Food for thought
@@damaygo1742 He tried to make a claim about Holy Spirit which was not even close. All the stuff he wrote was nonsense. Notice how in Acts all of the believers are experiencing manifestation of HS and it’s not forced. No one was praying to have a tangible experience with the Holy Spirit. But all of that is about Holy Spirit. David was taking about experiencing Jesus in a tangible way. Where do we see that or where are we commended to have tangible experience with Jesus?
@@alexvolosin3562 Its immature to think that everything written is the entirety of what you can experience , nothing more. If you havent prayed for a tangible experience, you should. It would lead you to repent. And thats how you know its real
🤔he says at 11:50 (his experience with the Holy Spirit indwelling him)......"if I move my hand I'm going to feel it brush up against his robe" 🤔 and we wonder why new believers get confused about their own salvation and begin questioning when they hear things like this. Granted the Holy Spirit can do as he pleases but this is in no way shape or form, the norm. The only "key" that is needed and required is the BIBLE, repentance and turning from your sin. Simple.
If new believers are confused, its because theyre not in the Word. Once they eat of the meat, they’ll begin to understand that God works how he chooses
Every believer that I know has had an experience with God. It's the moment that they know beyond doubt that God is real. He comes to each of us as we need. I don't judge other's encounter to my own. I'm glad I didn't go blind like Paul to know. lol
I'm glad I didn't go blind like Paul either, lol. Any believer in Christ has the indwelt experience and personal miracle of the Holy Spirit. The point that I was making in light of the fact that David has a large platform to speak into the lives of new believers, is that this is an experience that is "rare". When you "continually" preach from your platform that believers should experience certain things and in certain ways, that is incorrect and misleading. This will cause confusion in the new believer. @@redrider5832
Have you ever read "the Holiness of God" by RC Sproul, one of the most respected bible teachers of our time had a similar experience where he felt the presence of God, physically, so much so that it freaked him out, and yet he never said a believer needs to have an experience like this in order to be saved, and neither did David here say that at any point, because from my own research David believes in repentance and turning from sin in order to be saved.
All these false teachers need a story, some kind of experience, or encounter to establish their credibility for their audience - goats or ignorant sheep.
Hey comment section, if we cared enough to criticize, how much more then should we be praying for the people we think are lost and heading towards eternal damnation?
I just found this channel so I was checking things out. On this gentleman's channel, on a video "How You Can FINALLY Receive the Gift of Tongues", May 14, 2023, he says: Around :19 - "Every believer can pray in tongues." That is incorrect. The Bible nowhere teaches such a thing.
This is the first time I have heard this guy. What I am seeing in the comment section is deeply disturbing. This guy may be a false teacher and/or charlatan, or he might be a genuine brother who teaches some things people disagree with. The reality is, that throwing around accusations and labels without giving reasons that would help people like myself become a bit more informed as to why I should avoid him, is a sin. It is wrong, ungodly, and a mark of pride by the accuser. So for all those calling RR to repent or David a false teacher without giving sound Biblical reasons, perhaps you need to get back to the Word that you claim to love and revere.
@JBly4 Firstly, I did on another comment. Secondly, if you actually understand the comment, you wouldn't leave a snarky comment. You seem to demonstrate the kind of people I am talking about.

That was exactly my encounter as well. I try not to focus on another experience but at that time I never felt closer to Him and I desire that constantly. I'm the man time I'm learning to be an empty as possible vessel for Him to use as He will.

@ Remnant Radio, don't listen to these people in the comments. Do what God is asking you to do, not what others are suggesting you do. That is one of the big mistakes King Saul made, he stopped listening to God's instructions and listened to people. If King Saul had stayed obedient to God, Jesus would have come from his line (1 Samuel 13) . So while you may get a lot of pushback for doing what God is asking of you, ultimately he will bless you more than you can possibly imagine.
The Rapture is so imminent and Jesus will take His people. Are you ready? Or you prefer to wait for the antiChrist and his 666 Mark of the Beast? WIth it comes problems too hard to imagine and not worth your life. Why don't you, you the reader of this message, come to Jesus Christ for a full pardon, to be forgiven of sin. HE calls and promises all sinners a welcome and the free gift of ETERNAL LIFE! God bless you. I love you all!🤗

Welp, that's great that he's becoming like Benny Hinn. Pastor Hinn is a son of God. I've witnessed the manifest power of God in that ministry. So that's a great thing he's becoming like Pastor Hinn. 😊 Now if he started talking like Pastor Benny Hinn, THEN I'd be concerned.
Why is everyone getting so triggered by this? The whole point is remnant radio is interviewing from different perspectives if you don't like it then move on past and chill 😂
Thank you Remnant radio. I'll agree with most of this. My wife and I went to a gathering with this person DDH and he seems much different then the over and above personality showing himself in service.. praise the Lord.
Off topic, but is Dr. Chisholm going to come back on to talk about the fallen pre-Adamic destroyed world theory? His quick mention of it was the only time I’ve ever heard of something like that!
The pre-adamic world idea is problematic... Because it's not in scripture , it's not there. I listened to a talk on it and the use of scripture was very messy, choosing to overlook the obvious meaning for a secret meaning and seperating verses from their context a lot. Ex - 2 peter 3:6 "... and that by means of these, the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished." Question , what world was washed away by water? Obvious answer - the world before Noah's flood. Consider the context of chapter 2-3 and that Peter already referenced Noah in 2:5. The pre-adamic theory speaker used it to say there was a world, with civizations before Adam and that 3:5 is about a flood before Adam... Which is shown where in the genesis account? (Insert Gap theory, wink wink, also not there)
David seems to have learnt his trade from Hinn. It's the same con just packed differently. I expect better from Remnant. A lot of people look to Remnant to provide guidance on the charismatic movement, on what's real and what is whack. Please don't platform these con artists.
The people you invite to your program keeps getting worse as time goes on. DDH has no conscience in how he twists the Bible. Finished the review of the Cessationist movie a few weeks ago btw. I have some issues eith your historical references. Edward Irvine taught that Jesus had a sinful nature, and to believe otherwise is anathema. This is not good proof for continuationism; this is merely fodder for my working theory that the more "off" someone's theology gets the more supernatural manifestations that happen in their life... most likely of the 2 Thessalonians 2 variety.
@@theouterplanet Quick question. I see your comments, and they are all in the same vein. Are the RR guys Christians in your view or false teachers and wolves themselves?

Hi and thanks. The ayio pveuma/ holy spirit means holy breath. The Holy Spirit is the breath of father in heaven/space. Heaven translates as ouranos, which means space or skies. The holy breath of father is in all of us. Breath is not a person but is personable. Everyone assumes john 14 the helper that is sent is holy spirit. A helper the Lord sends is an angel. Angels are sent as helper to humans. The breath of father is like a rushing stiff breeze and can be stirred by spirits in the air. Holy breath is not a person but is personable. Powerful omnipresent in us all. The breath of father is grieved if you deny creation is all due to the breath of father is life force/energy that runs through our dna. When the spirit goes out, you die. You should speak to a Greek.

@@GreaterThanWealth The whole setup of Sid Roth is not of God. The main point is to entice and tickle the ears of baby Christians who need to see and hear about signs and wonders to strengthen their faith which Jesus says is a wicked and adulterous generation. He invites ANYONE who claims to have had a vision or dream of an angel even if they teach something contradictory to the scriptures or is questionable. He has invited frauds like the people who claimed that a Bible was producing oil and would sell this oil which turned out to be a complete fraud. But that doesn’t bother Sid Roth because it’s not about Truth and filtering out falsehood if it can get him more book sales and viewers.
He learned how to fake miracles from Benny Hinn. Those who receive healing from him are carefully selected and then the carnival begins. The deaf who could hear in part, leave hearing in part. The blind who could see in part, leave, seeing in part. A smooth operator indeed, yet no discernment from this channel. Since you are so bold as to criticize Chris Roseborough for his sarcasm, and rightly so, why not also dare to call out a charlatan who draws people after himself. The biblical teaching is not difficult to find or understand. Words matter. The indwelling of the Spirit is the promise of every believer. Intimacy sounds good but is not a biblical term or concept. Why not use those that are such as: promised, indwelling, comforter, Spirit of truth, power, etc. Instead, by focusing on an emotional experience, the truth is replaced with feeling which come and go and can deceive us and with experiences which God has not promised and leave the weak feeling like rejects. So many promise that which God has not and do so for money that the way of truth is drawn into disrepute. Why not instead, preach the Word, alone! David's formula adds to the word what God has not promised. Do not add anything to it! We have been warned!
I don't know anything about this teacher, but your comments are very strange. Perhaps the word "intimacy" isn't specifically used, but that kind of intimate walk with God is revealed in (and implied by) Scripture time and time again.
This is my first time hearing him. What makes him a charlatan, and do you have proof? While I might not agree with everything he says in the interview, calling him a charlatan without giving reasons seems ungodly. I think if he is genuinely dangerous, then someone like myself who has just seen him for the first time needs to be warned, but warned with substance, otherwise I could end up wrongly mistaking you for mean spirited and ungodly cessationists that want to label perjoratively everyone they disagree with. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be associated with people like that?
. they are affected by a religious spirit & chase gossip rather than worrying about their own spiritual walk. Never ask ppl like these for their reasons. Ask God to help you discern.

So this guy locks himself in a closet, gives God an ultimatum, then tries to manipulate/guilt God. How about trusting and resting in the finished work of Christ and walking in the spirit-you’ll experience the fruits of the spirit outlined in the Bible. It will be 100 percent sufficient and your soul will need nothing.
Who said they are endorsing anything? It says interview. I believe David is almost a sound teacher except for the excess of tongues and “falling in The Spirit” displays at his church. That doesn’t make him a false teacher though, simply misled.
Is Copeland next 😂? Why do you guys give platform to guys that build their ministries around their names? These are the people that stop people from experiencing the Holy Spirit. They act like they have a special anointing and by listening to their videos/sermons or attending their events you get to experience Holy Spirit in a special way. They always center themselves and use Jesus for their own gain.
I hear ya. I had similar thoughts about a different YTer. Based on scripture, I decided to think the best of them and not prematurely judge their intentions. I was wrong for being easily offended and I repent of that. With DDH, there are things I might not agree with, as with most of my brothers and sisters in Christ. But I do appreciate his ministry and if you actually follow him you might find he does not necessarily fit this characature you have painted. I hear him continually reminding the audience that it’s Jesus who heals them, not David Diga. He never charges for his events. I notice a reverence and humility from him as to what God is doing in his ministry and he continually gives God the glory. There are certain things he does that honestly are not my preference or that I do not think are ideal - for those things I pray for him. Beyond that, I’ve really grown to appreciate how the Lord is using him, flaws and all, especially through his teaching. I see positive fruit of his ministry in my life and in my newly saved husband’s life. He doesn’t strike me as someone who pontificates on complex theological concepts but what the Lord has done through him is that he’s shown me weaknesses in my own walk that I need to more closely align with scripture. He’s really helped me to get back to the basics and has encouraged me to cultivate more spiritual discipline, and challenge some things in my life that could be idols. So just saying, he does not need to be your fav, but I pray you’d consider taking a humble and gentle approach with the things you see as troublesome. God bless
@ElleeZee289 Their intentions matter very little to me seeing as I can't know them. What he says, however, I will confidently profess as nonsense. Especially when it comes to his "flowing in the spirit". Or his Sid Roth book selling. I can gently and humbly say he teaches dangerous doctrine, even if he is decent and honest about it. Thank God you are aligning your life to scripture. That is good. Hopefully I'm wrong in my assumption that it will eventually turn to you aligning with his interpretations of scripture as it so often does with these guys.

Nice wisdom!
No joke
Didn't know about David before this, but it's refreshing to hear another leader filled with wisdom, seasoned, and in love with the Lord. Great show!
I love how all the people who came to Remnant to hear from people of all different backgrounds and denominations get upset when they bring on someone said-people disagree with. Their goal is to suspend your presuppositions and your response is to double down on them? Learn to eat the meat and spit out the bones. I just prayed for your sister. Let me know when you have an update.
Can someone point me to a place in the Bible where it talks about experiencing Jesus in a tangible way the way David experienced him?

SN: wish Miller was here too.

@ Remnant Radio, don't listen to these people in the comments. Do what God is asking you to do, not what others are suggesting you do.

The whole setup of Sid Roth is not of God.

I pray God opens our eyes to how those doctrines are affecting the body.
@@JBly4 I appreciate your kindness
@@ElleeZee289 the problem is that instead of teaching the Bible He promotes his experience of experiencing The Holy Spirit. As if he found a way how to experience The Holy Spirit. Go listen to his resent testimony about experiencing the Holy Spirit. All of this is really similar to new age occult stuff. I would encourage your husband to listen to Mike Winger. It will be a lot more beneficial for him if he is a new believer.
Jesus warned us of false Christs, false prophets. They are everywhere these days.
Amen!
