I seriously want to visit a true retail RC hobby shop and get to experience more rigs, at least on display if not a small demo. The biggest challenge is finding someone to bring me. Or visit someone who has a ton and can handle me geeking out 😂
I think arrma needs to work on their parts supply issues before releasing new stuff. Have a Granite Grom and the weakest part the diffs won't be available until April. I feel I wasted $130 on a shelf queen.
That is a serious rough hit on that Grom
@rcguygarage I put CA glue in the slots for the drive cups and locked it up. No clue if it will hold but it works so far.
I herd its a 2 week wait straight from arrma. Grom buyers got screwed with those plastic drive cups

I labeled my motor lead wire and so I know which wire I plug into the esc

I’m buying the smc 9500 for my xrt ultimate. I’m debating between getting the 5800 smc for my sledge or getting the 5000 Traxxas batteries for the sledge. The Traxxas 5000 cost $69.96 and the 5800 cost $83.95. Not sure how much more usage the 800 gets me. What do you think?

I have the Traxxas iD ez peak live dual high output charger (26 amp/ 200 wats) and the Traxxas iD ez peak dual (100 wats)
I know I need the higher output charger for the 9500 batteries but can I use the 100 wat charger for the 5800 smc?
Nice , what motor are you running , I put the the 2050kv the 6s motor , trying different motors I’ve even had the 3200 3s motor , 1900 kv 4068 , results are esc is tuned for the 2400kv it’s super efficient . The esc is the smallest footprint of any 4s esc , even the 3s ones are bigger
