From what I have seen in the video, she seems to have some sort of sandals, like flip flops, but she loses them the moment she watches the tape. What the hell?
One thing i do know, is that is one scary situation. Going to a party then waking up with barely any clothes on, face down on a bed, chairs and a camera in the room facing you on the bed and you wake up feeling far from fine.
The final phone call is less you talking to someone else, and more the character calling and talking to YOU. She wants to feel "real" because she realizes she's not, and she knows we control her actions- the phone call is her chance to have some free will and communicate with us. It may very well be the girl before the party talking to us controlling her body after the party. The entire game is her attempt to escape the kind of purgatory of the party- the two spirits represent her own feelings- Trembling craves nicotine to stop the jitters/fear, Unease craves comfort (from beer and possibly board games). Both are quick to tell you you're in a bad place and there's no future for you, but Unease is the better ending because it has the girl finally escape the purgatory- she's accepting the pain and unpleasantness and moving on- the other endings have her swapping bodies with a zombie to "live" but as a frickin' zombie she won't live too long. Leaving alone has her face the reality that she's not "real" and/or a ghost, but the Toilet ending has her spirit finally able to make the actual journey home, and also represents the "reality" of what happened- it wasn't an awesome party, something horrible was unleashed and everyone was killed. She accepts she's not a survivor, she can't come back to life, and she can escape the consumption....by possibly flushing her spirit down the toilet. Who knows? Notably, the zombie that killed everyone came from the same bathroom, so perhaps it is literally a gateway to the afterlife some evil spirit used to enter the scene, and that ending is you deciding the door works both ways to GTFO. I also think anybody who doesn't find "peace" is consumed by the "consumption" - this is why anyone you don't give items (naked guy vs naked girl) becomes a zombie- by deciding one way or the other you've denied them their final request and they are at the mercy of the evil. Whereas the player, after they've used up all their options (unless they find the spirits) and realize they can't leave the house will succumb to the consumption behind the final door.
A fair and meaty assessment. I'd like to add that if you go to the body on the bridge, it's a "dead end." Yes, I do think in puns; I need to, in order to make sense of dream landscapes. If you go to the bridge as a zombie, it's debatable if you're the girl in a different body or not. Whether or not you are, though, you're playing as the zombie that killed everyone. You then turn human again when you've realized what you've done; however, "this is nobody's home." In other words, nobody should exist like this; it's not a home, it's a "dead end" in more ways than one. And regardless of who you give the clothes to, it appears that they are the dead one on the bridge.

@@matoolhaq The police wouldn't have _literally_ seen them as zombies. All of this is on a non corporeal realm, except for the moment after the police siren sound. The dead individual could have been seen as crazy, though. TBH, I'm not convinced the police shot him/her.

BTW, the 911 number didn't exist in most of America in the 70s, when this game takes place. Not like it's that big of a deal, just saying; it didn't start getting implemented a lot until the 80s and 90s. Then again, this *is* a game, and real life details don't need to apply.
You know, I would have thought that if the dispatcher was so pissed off, they would be supposed to call the police on them for misusing the emergency line. Which would be still a good outcome for her. So yeah, im also calling that bluff, devs.

The entire game has a vhs styled filter over it. It is almost as if the main character's last remaining humanity lies on the tape. Presumably before the occurance of the implied rape.
Just found this vid. It was pretty good. Your theory would make sense as that could be what the "consumption" is in ending 4, why the character lies on the ground after taking nicotine, and maybe constantly stepping on broken glass could represent her feelings about it.

It's strange how these games can give off an ominous atmosphere. The games are chill, but feel uneasy, so they actually make cozy binge material before bed.
Is this like Hotel California, where it's one big metaphor for drugs or something, because nothing makes sense here. Why are there zombies and carnivor plants? Who or what are the vestiges and The Consumption? Was the party legit, or some kind of ritual? What's the toilet mean? Does your protagonist mean anything? What did the final phone call mean? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!
Alright, so a girl wakes up, clearly the victim of a party rape. When the zombie sequence happens the zombie rises from the bathroom, later referred to as the '"cold wet throne" room. If she gives clothes to the person in the shower, the footprints lead to the bush, then the pool. If she gives the clothes to the person in the bush, the footprints lead to the car, the person in the car disappears, and the footprints lead off into the outside, leaving a blood trail. In both cases, the person desperately wants to not be seen. The footprints may be the same either way, and both people are the same person, having jumped from the bathroom window into the bushes. Next problem: The Dead body of a girl at every ending, when the main character approaches, she disappears. This, as well as the zombie dialogue, lead us to believe she is actually a ghost. None of the events we know to be true, but from what little is said we can believe that the main character is a ghost, and the clothing fragments belong to her. The empty black closet, as well as the empty black room in which both of the spirits reside, were closed off during the zombie sequence, both were clearly occupied during the killings. There were 0 survivors in the incident, so these people either got away or were killed by our main character, who is the only one with a body leftover after the incident. In summary Main character is a ghost that needs to collect her clothes post-rape, and may very well be the killer in the incident. Her body shares similar description to the clothes, and the dead body has only a singular head injury, which I suspect is from suicide from the bathroom window. She hid in the bushes at some point, took a shower to try and "Clean herself" from the stuff that "wouldn't wash off", from both violation and the blood of killing. Unable to bear it, she jumps from the window, and kills herself. The zombie and characters are a dramatization of the events that occurred, the people disappearing and the bloody footprints of our confused ghost murderer running about, all the other characters are herself being trapped in one way or another. Edit: Another thing to note is during the zombie scene, our victim can be seen hanging out the doorway window, her clothes still strung through plants. All the switches were nooses, the zombie COULD in theory be an enraged boyfriend, whom we can see be killed by the ghost (in a recreation of the act?), which would then lead her to kill herself. Otherwise, there would be a survivor, either way, we have two characters, the boy and the girl. There was a rape, and the boy can be assumed to be assumed to be the boyfriend. One of two things A: girl is molested, and kills the partygoers in her rage, the zombie being a symbolization of her anger and the other trembling ghosts being her insecurities. B: Girl is molested, boyfriend finds out and kills the partygoers trying to figure out who did it, after finishing doing so walks out of the home to find that she found her clothes and killed herself, breaking mentally and being caught by the police OR having been killed by the girlfriend as a result of his actions, who would then go and kill herself. Or at least that is what I think is going on. The only thing for sure: The girl was raped and ended up killing herself.

This game definitely makes me feel queasy and uncomfortable the entire way through, so uh, good job developers?? The plot is pretty confusing and the endings are ambiguous at best, but here's my best shot at it: the game emphasises that "nobody's home" and that the are "no survivors". This includes the girl you play as. The only ending where maybe 1 person survives is when you accept the nicotene from the trembling essence, who then is shown as not a zombie standing over the dead girl, but as a guy with brown hair. Keep in mind that with a similar ending, where you just leave, the girl you play as disappears after reaching the dead girl. In general, it almost feels like the girl you play as is a "lost soul" - perhaps even literally - and has no place to call home. She doesn't even show up on the recorded tape of what happened at the party before you take over, which has an empty bed, and which is why she isn't slaughtered by the zombie (interesting note: each person killed seems to correlate with the trash you can walk through, so that's gross). This may be that she simply has no presence (perhaps unconcious at the time), or that she was not alive to begin with, and is one of the spirits haunting the house. In this case, accepting the uneasy essence's "eternity" where she "takes the first step towards home" is one of the happier (?) Endings. In any case, this girl takes comfort in not having to make her own decisions, which she practically says in the final phone call with you, the player, as well as her casual participance in drugs and alcohol to deal with her pain. With at least some of the endings, it almost seems as if the party hadn't fully ended yet, and could be placed better in the real world, with the supernatural elements (ghosts and zombies) taking on a more symbolic role (such as zombies=party-ers completly zonked out on drugs and alcohol). For example, when the girl gets "consumed" this could be by literal zombied/spirits, or simply by her peers doing something terrible to her, hinted at with the camcorder at the bed in the beginning. The other ending that could ignore the supernatural to some degree is with the trembling essence taking control. If so, the plot for that ending would be something like: big party thrown in empty house, everyone comes and gets high, loses inhibitions. However, one guy, upon losing his inhibitions and sense (figuratively becoming a "zombie") starts to kill everyone who is there, until only he and the girl on the bed are left (and potentially the people who lost their clothes or were trapped). Girl wakes up, finds him unconcious, and they share some cigarettes before he kills her too. He leaves, still a "zombie" and only seems to come to his senses over another dead girl's body with sirens blaring and a spotlight over him. ...or the whole game is a nonsensical drug trip. I’m freaking out because this reminds me of a dream I had... I was trying so hard to get out with this party.. I was trying to convince the police that the bad guy was here in this house, we all went back to this house and suddenly I realized we were all already dead. Then I realized I was the killer that got killed by a survivor, that I stabbed. And apparently I was a mix in between genders because I feel like I teleported bodies or something....😰
cool. sometimes l have dreams likr yours but instead of shifting bodies l shift perspectives. meaning l could look at the world like our normal human perspective (1st person) or become a zoomed/fixed camera view where the scene unfolds not via sight but globally
A good message rests within this game I believe. It definitely held my attention. It's a bit tough for me to 100% understand everything because I was never a party-goer, nor do I drink, smoke, or partake in anything else. I can imagine though, what it would feel like to slowly lose yourself to something addicting, comforting, or otherwise. In the end though, the tone is pretty spot on. It's quiet, you're alone and you're obviously in a bad spot. Often times, for the victims of such a life style, it ends alone, scared and mostly destroyed. I can't help but just feel sadness with each ending.
@@errorbirdesther Let's just chalk it up to that. It also has the 911 number, and although the number _does_ go back as far as 1968, it would have been uncommon or rare for any place in the 70s to have it (depending on the year.) About 25% of America had it in 1979.
I wonder; are there hints of the exact date in the game? At the very least, I can say that it's not freezing outside and that the 911 number exists here. 911 did exist in the 70s, but it wasn't 99% implemented across all America like it is today. In 1979, only 26% had it.
This game's a lot like nightmares I had in 2008, while IRL I played Xbox Live too much. One "favorite" dream was the "Dead Woods." People went to a warm house in the cold, wide blowing wilderness for a social event. There were woods behind the house, 200 yards away. They always went inside the woods, and found the 300 to 400 year old graveyard (1600s) within that sloped downward. A freezing river came from the left on the hill they were on, and went in a U turn and back to the left, downhill. This went over some graves, and it was horribly cold. Most people saw this graveyard, then they proceeded to turn into dead splintered wood statues after trying to run. The police never understood it, and people died even if they got back in the house.
Ok, this game's AWESOME, the art style, Menu's design, that soo creepy but cool battle entrances and enemy designs, like YO, this game has style, and not only a style you would see in nowadays games, it has its OWN style.
The fact that when you're playing the tape, as the zombie goes around massacring people, their bloodstains end up in many of the places you've previously been walking over what you thought was broken glass.... Brrrr.
People here questioning why others are saying it’s about rape... when the girl is face down in a bed, with a camera on her... See, if she was just in the bed, I could believe she was maybe just drunk and passed out. But the camera, the person in the shower, the notes outside. How are people so dense... Im pretty confident in saying that’s the lead up to where we are now, but what’s happening during the actual gameplay I can only speculate the girl had a breakdown upon waking up and killed everyone at the party.
People question it because you CAN end up in that situation consentually, and there's nothing else in the game that explicitly points towards rape. The person in the shower comes out as (the only) female zombie if you give clothes to the guy in the bushes, which makes rape less likely, at least from them. Then there's the fact that game makes it very clear that the girl is dead the whole time. You play as a ghost trying to accept her fate. Her corpse is the one in front of the house. She didn't kill everyone at the party, a zombie did. Considering that her corpse is outside (not in the bed) and that the game appears to be about zombies (although those could be metaphorical)... it's just not cut-and-dried that this is a game about rape. I'm thinking that everyone saw the opening image, got it in their head that "THIS IS A GAME ABOUT RAPE" and never stopped to entertain other theories, making everything else that happened in the game fit into that idea.

How they even got past its security and defence that kept the bad guys at bay up to that point remains an unexplained event in and of itself to this day, but suffice it to say, coming home would be one night that would literally never leave my mind. And when that phone rang at the top of the hour at midnight, that was my first time speaking to that girl. The fact that she even dozed past the entire main event was a surprise in and of itself, so it was only natural that it led to me realizing everything that had unfolded that night, and the carnage just after. When I came home to a surprisingly perfect atmosphere; no glass shards or anything, as I was stripping down to my tighty whities for the night, I found the tape. What was on this digital tome was something that would be the start to any girl's superstardom - and she could not have been any less different. All I can see in her future is another, yet new TikToker star in the making. Cassettes have really been making a comeback this decade, and there is no question that this tome will be one for the "record" books. *TL;DR:* On -March- 10th, 202X local youth broke into the home of Joseph Slade, inviting a number of guests over. What followed was a night that no one would forget - for possibly an infinite number of reasons. There are no known stragglers. I don't see why you have to deliberately step on broken glass. I mean, look at 22:26. There are all sorts of crairs you could use to put over the glass and crawl over the chairs. Other areas have rugs or sleeping bags you could use to COVER the glass. Pick up the newspaper and just BRUSH the glass aside. There is literally ZERO reason for you to injure yourself.
Girl wakes up after a blurry night at a frat party, she is surrounded by zombies and men she doesn't see. Also zombies and hands constantly come and attack her. Yeaaaa I can see what it means.
The sound right at 4:14 is super jarring for some reason. I had to go back a few times and listen to it without my headphones on just to make sure it wasn't coming from my desk. Spooky.
My theory is all the girls and the trunk guy are dead. This is why the house is empty, save for ghosts and zombies. The guy died driving the car inside so they locked him in the trunk (or threw in the pool to fake drowning). The protagonist died while being filmed on the bed, the other girls were raped and murdered in the bathroom and the bushes (note the bloody footprints and the fact the were naked). The silhouettes of the part goers further underline the fact that they were on another plane of existence, they didn't notice others being eaten, because it was an attack from beyond. There is this moment where the protag trades bodies and we see her presumably dead. The ghost remarks the vessel being unfortunate, being at the wrong time and later that there is no future for her here. We think he is speaking of his zombie body when speaking about the vessel, but he could very well mean the protag killed at the party. Hell, since she apparently dies while trading bodies, it could be her being animated one last time to enact revenge on the party-goers. The health points are represented by battery life because ghosts affect foremost electronic devices through electromagnetic phenomena. A weak ghost can no longer interact with the world. Being a strong ghost allows her to manipulate objects from the material world and trade them to ghosts that no longer can. Hell, maybe the zombies aren't zombies at all but living people that appear like that in her world. They retreat because they have trash yeeted at them by a poltergeist. Maybe there would be survivors if you didn't kill them off. The people you help aren't among the ones the zombie eats so they are already gone from that world. But at the very end we see the girl in the purple dress you helped. Maybe it was the protag since your character vanishes when standing over her.
I wonder if there's an ending where you can save everybody, Like you give the guy in the shower pants, And give the guy in the bushes a shirt. But then again this could be a game where your destined to lose at least one person...
I'm thinking someone spiked some food with drugs, maybe the pizza, which mixed with alcohol and caused everyone to die in the house party. The zombie could be a guy who tripped balls and started slaughtering everyone there.
Man, I really want to create an Horror Rpg mmo fighting type game where u play as a Meerkat teenager and you have to survive and fight terrifying enemies to save yourself, and find the 7 deadly sins statues to save your friends by going to 7 realms between Hell and Heaven, and defeat the 7 demon gaurdians, plus lvl up your character. And a allie can help you in situations that is hard to get through and fight. Inspired by Space Funeral and Off.

@@midnight-hq4zg It can't be any other way, considering the spirits of trembling and uneasiness. Add in the zombies and zombie hands possibly groping her from the ceiling, and bang. I guess most people don't take the time to interpret dreams because they're "just dreams." That's not always true, they can sometimes give insight; both to life, and to what _isn't_ life, but exists anyway (zombiehood, which was witnessed in the massacre of the party guests.)
After you get the key to the trunk, the person in the trunk is a zombie. He gets out and goes through the windshield or a door, and goes in front of the house, as shown by the bloody footsteps which show up at either of the other zombies.
You know what, 2 years later, I'm guessing the reason why he's in the trunk is because he died by flying through the windshield in the first place, then the partygoers just figured "we'll take care of it later."
Hmmm. wow. One hell of a party, roaming around as possibly a ghost of a girl who was murdered after being sexually assaulted perhaps. The cigarettes the drinking and all the consumption-led her here. When she finally had the chance to fight back she was in the spiritual realm as possibly an unrest soul who roams for peace but finally met that peace with the realization of life after passing on. No one knew that the evil things of this party would ultimately lead to death. Consumption represents every dark thing at the house party which is probably why we saw zombies undead, the consumption-led everyone there into the darkness of eternity, the 2nd death...
except for one girl who met her peace on passing on(depending on the ending). One of the endings seems as if the girl was empty inside and just wanted something to fill that void.

That's interesting, but I presumed that perhaps this is actually a 70's horror movie of some kind.
Or maybe leftover footage from a crime scene of a mass murder and someone trying to escape.

Alright, so a girl wakes up, clearly the victim of a party rape. When the zombie sequence happens the zombie rises from the bathroom, later referred to as the '"cold wet throne" room. If she gives clothes to the person in the shower, the footprints lead to the bush, then the pool. If she gives the clothes to the person in the bush, the footprints lead to the car, the person in the car disappears, and the footprints lead off into the outside, leaving a blood trail. In both cases, the person desperately wants to not be seen. The footprints may be the same either way, and both people are the same person, having jumped from the bathroom window into the bushes.
Next problem: The Dead body of a girl at every ending, when the main character approaches, she disappears. This, as well as the zombie dialogue, lead us to believe she is actually a ghost. None of the events we know to be true, but from what little is said we can believe that the main character is a ghost, and the clothing fragments belong to her. The empty black closet, as well as the empty black room in which both of the spirits reside, were closed off during the zombie sequence, both were clearly occupied during the killings. There were 0 survivors in the incident, so these people either got away or were killed by our main character, who is the only one with a body leftover after the incident.
In summary Main character is a ghost that needs to collect her clothes post-rape, and may very well be the killer in the incident. Her body shares similar description to the clothes, and the dead body has only a singular head injury, which I suspect is from suicide from the bathroom window. She hid in the bushes at some point, took a shower to try and "Clean herself" from the stuff that "wouldn't wash off", from both violation and the blood of killing. Unable to bear it, she jumps from the window, and kills herself. The zombie and characters are a dramatization of the events that occurred, the people disappearing and the bloody footprints of our confused ghost murderer running about, all the other characters are herself being trapped in one way or another.
Edit: Another thing to note is during the zombie scene, our victim can be seen hanging out the doorway window, her clothes still strung through plants. All the switches were nooses, the zombie COULD in theory be an enraged boyfriend, whom we can see be killed by the ghost (in a recreation of the act?), which would then lead her to kill herself. Otherwise, there would be a survivor, either way, we have two characters, the boy and the girl. There was a rape, and the boy can be assumed to be assumed to be the boyfriend.
One of two things
A: girl is molested, and kills the partygoers in her rage, the zombie being a symbolization of her anger and the other trembling ghosts being her insecurities.
B: Girl is molested, boyfriend finds out and kills the partygoers trying to figure out who did it, after finishing doing so walks out of the home to find that she found her clothes and killed herself, breaking mentally and being caught by the police OR having been killed by the girlfriend as a result of his actions, who would then go and kill herself.
Or at least that is what I think is going on.
The only thing for sure: The girl was raped and ended up killing herself.

This game definitely makes me feel queasy and uncomfortable the entire way through, so uh, good job developers??
The plot is pretty confusing and the endings are ambiguous at best, but here's my best shot at it: the game emphasises that "nobody's home" and that the are "no survivors". This includes the girl you play as. The only ending where maybe 1 person survives is when you accept the nicotene from the trembling essence, who then is shown as not a zombie standing over the dead girl, but as a guy with brown hair. Keep in mind that with a similar ending, where you just leave, the girl you play as disappears after reaching the dead girl. In general, it almost feels like the girl you play as is a "lost soul" - perhaps even literally - and has no place to call home. She doesn't even show up on the recorded tape of what happened at the party before you take over, which has an empty bed, and which is why she isn't slaughtered by the zombie (interesting note: each person killed seems to correlate with the trash you can walk through, so that's gross). This may be that she simply has no presence (perhaps unconcious at the time), or that she was not alive to begin with, and is one of the spirits haunting the house. In this case, accepting the uneasy essence's "eternity" where she "takes the first step towards home" is one of the happier (?) Endings. In any case, this girl takes comfort in not having to make her own decisions, which she practically says in the final phone call with you, the player, as well as her casual participance in drugs and alcohol to deal with her pain.
With at least some of the endings, it almost seems as if the party hadn't fully ended yet, and could be placed better in the real world, with the supernatural elements (ghosts and zombies) taking on a more symbolic role (such as zombies=party-ers completly zonked out on drugs and alcohol). For example, when the girl gets "consumed" this could be by literal zombied/spirits, or simply by her peers doing something terrible to her, hinted at with the camcorder at the bed in the beginning.
The other ending that could ignore the supernatural to some degree is with the trembling essence taking control. If so, the plot for that ending would be something like: big party thrown in empty house, everyone comes and gets high, loses inhibitions. However, one guy, upon losing his inhibitions and sense (figuratively becoming a "zombie") starts to kill everyone who is there, until only he and the girl on the bed are left (and potentially the people who lost their clothes or were trapped). Girl wakes up, finds him unconcious, and they share some cigarettes before he kills her too. He leaves, still a "zombie" and only seems to come to his senses over another dead girl's body with sirens blaring and a spotlight over him.
...or the whole game is a nonsensical drug trip. Who knows for sure? Thanks for reading my long post lol, feel free to add your own conjectures. I'm interested in other people's observations and theories

A good message rests within this game I believe. It definitely held my attention. It's a bit tough for me to 100% understand everything because I was never a party-goer, nor do I drink, smoke, or partake in anything else. I can imagine though, what it would feel like to slowly lose yourself to something addicting, comforting, or otherwise.
In the end though, the tone is pretty spot on. It's quiet, you're alone and you're obviously in a bad spot. Often times, for the victims of such a life style, it ends alone, scared and mostly destroyed.
I can't help but just feel sadness with each ending.
The intro say's it's 1970 something, but there's a clear Metallica poster on the wall. Even though Metallica didn't even form until 1981

This game's a lot like nightmares I had in 2008, while IRL I played Xbox Live too much. One "favorite" dream was the "Dead Woods." People went to a warm house in the cold, wide blowing wilderness for a social event. There were woods behind the house, 200 yards away. They always went inside the woods, and found the 300 to 400 year old graveyard (1600s) within that sloped downward. A freezing river came from the left on the hill they were on, and went in a U turn and back to the left, downhill. This went over some graves, and it was horribly cold. Most people saw this graveyard, then they proceeded to turn into dead splintered wood statues after trying to run. The police never understood it, and people died even if they got back in the house.
Ok, this game's AWESOME, the art style, Menu's design, that soo creepy but cool battle entrances and enemy designs, like YO, this game has style, and not only a style you would see in nowadays games, it has its OWN style.
Yeah, it's pretty nice! Also, things made in RPG Maker hold a place on my very own maker heart :D

Im pretty confident in saying that’s the lead up to where we are now, but what’s happening during the actual gameplay I can only speculate the girl had a breakdown upon waking up and killed everyone at the party.

People question it because you CAN end up in that situation consentually, and there's nothing else in the game that explicitly points towards rape. The person in the shower comes out as (the only) female zombie if you give clothes to the guy in the bushes, which makes rape less likely, at least from them.
Then there's the fact that game makes it very clear that the girl is dead the whole time. You play as a ghost trying to accept her fate. Her corpse is the one in front of the house. She didn't kill everyone at the party, a zombie did.
Considering that her corpse is outside (not in the bed) and that the game appears to be about zombies (although those could be metaphorical)... it's just not cut-and-dried that this is a game about rape.
I'm thinking that everyone saw the opening image, got it in their head that "THIS IS A GAME ABOUT RAPE" and never stopped to entertain other theories, making everything else that happened in the game fit into that idea.
Aside from being a horror game, the opening of cans and bottles are SOOO gud

Ah, what a time it was to be alive. I don't see why you have to deliberately step on broken glass. I mean, look at 22:26. There are all sorts of crairs you could use to put over the glass and crawl over the chairs. Other areas have rugs or sleeping bags you could use to COVER the glass. Pick up the newspaper and just BRUSH the glass aside.

I'm willing to bet this is happening at the same time as No Delivery. So glad that the developer made another one!
My theory is all the girls and the trunk guy are dead. This is why the house is empty, save for ghosts and zombies. The guy died driving the car inside so they locked him in the trunk (or threw in the pool to fake drowning). The protagonist died while being filmed on the bed, the other girls were raped and murdered in the bathroom and the bushes (note the bloody footprints and the fact the were naked). The silhouettes of the part goers further underline the fact that they were on another plane of existence, they didn't notice others being eaten, because it was an attack from beyond. There is this moment where the protag trades bodies and we see her presumably dead. The ghost remarks the vessel being unfortunate, being at the wrong time and later that there is no future for her here. We think he is speaking of his zombie body when speaking about the vessel, but he could very well mean the protag killed at the party. Hell, since she apparently dies while trading bodies, it could be her being animated one last time to enact revenge on the party-goers. The health points are represented by battery life because ghosts affect foremost electronic devices through electromagnetic phenomena. A weak ghost can no longer interact with the world. Being a strong ghost allows her to manipulate objects from the material world and trade them to ghosts that no longer can. Hell, maybe the zombies aren't zombies at all but living people that appear like that in her world. They retreat because they have trash yeeted at them by a poltergeist. Maybe there would be survivors if you didn't kill them off. The people you help aren't among the ones the zombie eats so they are already gone from that world. But at the very end we see the girl in the purple dress you helped. Maybe it was the protag since your character vanishes when standing over her.

@@midnight-hq4zg It can't be any other way, considering the spirits of trembling and uneasiness. Add in the zombies and zombie hands possibly groping her from the ceiling, and bang. I guess most people don't take the time to interpret dreams because they're "just dreams." That's not always true, they can sometimes give insight; both to life, and to what _isn't_ life, but exists anyway (zombiehood, which was witnessed in the massacre of the party guests.)
It's too bad about the person in the trunk. Can't do a thing for him.
After you get the key to the trunk, the person in the trunk is a zombie. He gets out and goes through the windshield or a door, and goes in front of the house, as shown by the bloody footsteps which show up at either of the other zombies.
You know what, 2 years later, I'm guessing the reason why he's in the trunk is because he died by flying through the windshield in the first place, then the partygoers just figured "we'll take care of it later."

I will admit how the combat works is pretty interesting.
Hmmm. wow. One hell of a party, roaming around as possibly a ghost of a girl who was murdered after being sexually assaulted perhaps. The cigarettes the drinking and all the consumption-led her here. When she finally had the chance to fight back she was in the spiritual realm as possibly an unrest soul who roams for peace but finally met that peace with the realization of life after passing on. No one knew that the evil things of this party would ultimately lead to death. Consumption represents every dark thing at the house party which is probably why we saw zombies undead, the consumption-led everyone there into the darkness of eternity, the 2nd death...
except for one girl who met her peace on passing on(depending on the ending). One of the endings seems as if the girl was empty inside and just wanted something to fill that void.
