Hi any ideas how to speed up zoom on this lens on fs7 extension grip rocker , the lens zooms out at normal speed but when zooming in it’s really slow, if you use the zoom control on lens it’s fine as is zoom on top of camera thanks
Sorry man, I barely use this lens as it is not parfocal and has terrible manual focus. It's not a very good option to pair with the FS7 in my opinion. It's much better used with a camera with good autofocus and is great used on a gimbal as you can adjust the zoom and not have to rebalance in most cases. You would 100% be better off with either the 18-110PZ f4 the larger far more expensive one, if you absolutely need power zoom. Or going with a Tamron 18-300 if you need range, or a Tamron 17-70 f2.8 if you want something with better feeling manual focus and a "standard" range. Otherwise if you need servo zoom and an optically adapted B4 lens is honestly the best way to go as they have the best manual controls and smoothest servo zooms compared to any E mount lens.
@@jamesandcamera hi ok thanks , do you know where I can get hold of optically adapted B4 mount lens ? I’m assuming I’d need a metabones adapter for the Tamron lenses ?
