The clarity and quality of filming is as good as any Vulcan film out there and an important historical document therefore. Many thanks to the uploader, I have downloaded this just in case.
As I watch this sitting here in New Zealand it makes me so very proud to be British! I cant wait to return home and once again go to this and the rest of the great air shows we have in the UK. Thank you for uploading this!
I had the good fortune to witness the vulcan on manoeuvres from the banks of lake windermere when I was camping there back in 1975. It was totally amassing! One of the most wonderful things I have ever seen in all my life. Wonderful!
This video is just the best I have seen - from the low entrance at Beachy to the up and gone at the end over Eastbourne Beach. Thanks for the patience. Wonderful. I was there, above the Lighthouse just taking a few shots, I really just wanted to be there for the final time XH558 would come round that corner and I was and will cherish. I know, just a plane, it's just a plane - but WHAT a plane.
OMG I have just sat in my lounge and watched this I have goosebumps from head to toe. Having spent 13 years in the Air force 70s/80s I have fond memories of this bird. It is a sad thing that it has to retire. Im so hoping to get one more live view before she goes for good
What an amazing thrill it's been to see XH558 the handful of times that i was privileged to. Sad to say farewell...& that was one heck of an exit from Eastbourne.
Love this beast, despite its dark purpose. A truly wonderful design. I used to watch them fly over us in the 1970s when I was very young. I would always stop whatever I was doing to follow them across the sky til it was a tiny dot. I still feel the same today only now, as a gardener, it reminds me of a really big, noisy vinehopper to look at😄
Wow, an amazing aircraft; along with the Concorde, one of the most beautiful. The designers were so ahead of their time: a 50s aircraft that looks and performs like that.
Been scouring the net for a decent bit of film of her this afternoon. One to "top" my fave video of last year by wonkabar007!! Happened to look down to see who had posted this magnificent piece and it's you again wonkabar007! Another magnificent piece of film. Thank you so much.
Another great vid of an incredible aircraft I can't wait for Bournemouth next Sunday for my last Vulcan experience. Desperate to see it continue to fly it's such a huge shame it has to retire.
Wonkabar007 I'm sure all options have been considered and exhausted yet part of me yearns for a solution such as using the taxiable vulcans swap parts about anything .. never mind a great tragedy... maybe one day she'll roar again
Yes, a very great shame that it has to stop flying , it's my favourite aircraft of all time:) and for anyone who likes it, I suggest u read a book called Vulcan 607 it's a great book!!
***** It doesn't have to retire because of airframe or Engine expiry its three bloody minded companies who have withdrawn thecnical assistance!!!!! Absolute bloody disgrace !! what has happened to the UK?if she is grounded its because of the apathy to sign the petition and get some of these swinw hot under the collar ,, there are sponsors out there but they need the information for the tech support to get an airworthy certificate! don't let her gather dust please!!!!!!
You must have been just in front of me, I saw the 2 guys from touchdown aviation in your vid. Excellent quality footage from you and what a day that was!! Thanks for posting.
Thanks for this. Last saw the Vulcan many years ago at Exeter Air Show. Wanted to see her final flights this year but haven't been able to make one of the dates. Amazing majestic aircraft,
As usual, superb stuff and from different angles again. Miles better than Planes TV coverage in amongst the crowds. I couldn't get to The Head on Saturday, so thanks for sharing this incredible sight. I love the reactions from the enthusiastic photographers - including 'Mr Chuckle' who sounds very happy indeed!
Awesome! Full marks and was just hoping someone was going to do this. Great video well done! We were on the beach below the huge crowd yet again was on its feet, and my bet is wherever anyone was it was fantastic. I decided on taking stills and hoped and got it with the boats and yachts in view plus also flying by the Pier. My last viewing I thought was Shuttleworth, Old Warden. This bonus day was just epic.
+Klate Wilson Not at all. I mean, under the sky so blue veiled under thin clouds and the sea so clear that you can see the bottom, this gigantic aircraft that is almost 100% wings slowly glides into your view, its engine's deadly howls announcing its presence like some kind of ungodly supreme creature, casting its shadow on the emerald sea and those puny boats, displaying its beauty with shameless arrogance, and finally ascends, and disappears into the clouds. It really doesn't take a military nerd to appreciate its beauty. "Surreal" would be a better word to describe. This is as close as it gets to seeing a real dragon imo.
+Klate Wilson I guess you are not familiar with this Aeroplane? Firstly, you won't believe how big it is. It's huge, it's not a 747 but it is huge. It was a pioneering design when it came out. Secondly, check out Wonkabars' video called Vulcan howling sounds. This was a masterpiece of an aircraft. No, you are not weird that you find this beautiful. Oh, and you probably haven't seen one in real life, so let me tell you, it's loud, I mean LOUD. I am not sure where it stands in the records list but I can tell you straight, I have never heard anything like it. You.. don't exactly hear it (because obviously one does) but... you feel it too. So does the ground you stand on.
Thank you for sharing that brilliant video wonkabar! Wonderful aircraft. I got another little look at her today as she flew over our house on her way home. Closely followed by the 2 typhoons!
I got to see this beautiful bomber perform at Andrews AFB in 1983 when I was stationed there. It was with the awesome Red Arrows, who did a rare tour of major military bases along the east coast that summer.
I remember in the 70’s probably about 1975. I was working in Dorset, around Wareham and a Vulcan flew over. She was part of the nuclear defence programme and they were a common site. They always had one on patrol.
I'm greatly saddened that this will be my last dose of the Vulcan flying. I was at Shoreham earlier today and saw the Hunter crash. I got to see her on her way to make a flypast in salute. That's all I got to see of it, and it was the aircraft I most wanted to see. An event that was supposed to be fun, ended too soon in sombre circumstances. RIP to all 7 killed.
Great vid. Really got some good fly-bys up there at Beachy Head. I would have been there if someone hadn't decided to drive into me head-on on Friday morning!
The second most beautiful bomber ever made! (First will always be in my heart the Tu 160). Back in the late 50s it would look so futuristic and "space age"
George Kakaratsios Back in the past I saw the Vulcan mainly at Air shows. However I once saw one taking off from its base miles away from Bedford where I was staying. That delta shape as it climbed away and the noise - wow. Another time I was standing on Holyhead Mountain. It was very misty and suddenly THREE Vulcans came out of the mist one after the other on final approach to RAF Valley. A marvellous sight.
I have watched Airbourne every year as I work on the seafront and last summer I was surprised at how quiet the Vulcan was compared to the Harrier jump jet that use to performed here.
Awesome vid - superb. Look at about 3 min 35 secs. Looks almost like something fell off but could have been something in the line of sight. Hopefully more of this at Dunsfold next week.
The clarity and quality of filming is as good as any Vulcan film out there and an important historical document therefore. Many thanks to the uploader, I have downloaded this just in case.
How on earth can anyone not like this wonderful, wonderful footage?
Thank you so much for posting.
Never got into aircraft's but this thing is a beauty and put a smile on my face.
That is one stunningly beautiful aircraft.
As I watch this sitting here in New Zealand it makes me so very proud to be British! I cant wait to return home and once again go to this and the rest of the great air shows we have in the UK. Thank you for uploading this!
Fantastic video of this awesome aircraft, I saw XH558 display later that day at Headcorn, now I wish I had known about Beachy Head...........
I had the good fortune to witness the vulcan on manoeuvres from the banks of lake windermere when I was camping there back in 1975. It was totally amassing! One of the most wonderful things I have ever seen in all my life. Wonderful!
Superb filming, thanks for sharing.
Cracking video, well done! It is positively a crime that this magnificent British bomber will not be flying in 2016 onwards.
There’s 1 left to rot at Doncaster airport, I live a mile away. it’s a crime she’s left outside to just to rot away..
I have one word to describe you sir; Legend! Thank you for such an amazing video, one that a great many Vulcan fans will cherish.
James Bond

Thanks for posting this - all too soon this is all we will have. On a lighter note, wow! What a climb out at the end!
There aren't many places in the world where you are above a plane looking down on it doing that. Incredible.
OMG I have just sat in my lounge and watched this I have goosebumps from head to toe. Having spent 13 years in the Air force 70s/80s I have fond memories of this bird. It is a sad thing that it has to retire. Im so hoping to get one more live view before she goes for good
A lot of people's last memory of this will be on there camera screen. Just friggin enjoy the moment and watch it.
Thank goodness HD cameras are so proliferate during this final stage of the Vulcan's flying. Such wonderful footage available, so clear.
Oh wow! She howled as she approached the sea front. Beautiful video. Thanks
This is incredible. So glad I made the journey from NI to Fairford to see her this year, added bonus of seeing her in Portrush too!
What an amazing thrill it's been to see XH558 the handful of times that i was privileged to. Sad to say farewell...& that was one heck of an exit from Eastbourne.

Some excellent filming there sir. Helped by magnificent backdrop and the giant noisy star of the show. Gonna miss her at airshows next year.
Fantastic footage! Glad someone skilled with a camera was able to document this amazing aircraft being brilliantly piloted.
Wow, an amazing aircraft; along with the Concorde, one of the most beautiful. The designers were so ahead of their time: a 50s aircraft that looks and performs like that.
Brilliant video, was up on Beachy Head with the wife and friends to see this majestic bird yesterday also. Amazing noise and size.
The Vulcan is Truely one of The Great Bombers of its time. Along with the B-52, and the Other Great Delta Wing my Beloved B-58 ! USAF (SAC) 62-68.
Been scouring the net for a decent bit of film of her this afternoon. One to "top" my fave video of last year by wonkabar007!! Happened to look down to see who had posted this magnificent piece and it's you again wonkabar007! Another magnificent piece of film. Thank you so much.

Lee Scott I know what you mean, airshows wont be the same without the Vulcan.
Wonkabar007 I'm sure all options have been considered and exhausted yet part of me yearns for a solution such as using the taxiable vulcans swap parts about anything .. never mind a great tragedy... maybe one day she'll roar again
Lee Scott We will probably be able to 3D print, a whole new Vulcan in a few years time.
Yes, a very great shame that it has to stop flying , it's my favourite aircraft of all time:) and for anyone who likes it, I suggest u read a book called Vulcan 607 it's a great book!!

Fantastic footage the best I have seen so far.So glad I was there on the clifftop too.
Am I weird that I find this beautiful?
+Klate Wilson Not at all.

Some lovely footage there. Well done and thanks for posting
Just awesome.....She will be sorely missed at the end of the Year....What a shame ...
Amazing!
Thanks for uploading this for those who couldn't be there.
Best Vulcan video I've seen, thanks for posting.
Superbly captured. Much obliged.
Fantastic! Many Thanks for sharing this! I was there this afternoon but nowhere like yours with such beautiful view.
Love the snug tight filming of the second pass at 1:29. Perfection.
Excellent job filming an amazing aircraft. Well done sir. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Thank you for sharing that brilliant video wonkabar! Wonderful aircraft. I got another little look at her today as she flew over our house on her way home. Closely followed by the 2 typhoons!
I'm jealous! What an awesome sight and great filming. Thanks for uploading this
Fantastic...!! Saw her at the Hradcorn show. Very impressive.
Beautiful. No wonder grown men whoop and cheer.
I think Robert Pleming deserves an OBE for his leadership and achievements with XH558.
I got to see this beautiful bomber perform at Andrews AFB in 1983 when I was stationed there. It was with the awesome Red Arrows, who did a rare tour of major military bases along the east coast that summer.
I saw one of those in Denmark about 35 years ago - was standing on top of a 80' cliff looking DOWN at it!!!
I remember in the 70’s probably about 1975. I was working in Dorset, around Wareham and a Vulcan flew over. She was part of the nuclear defence programme and they were a common site. They always had one on patrol.
Sweet! very nice job filming.... wish I could've been there.
Superb Sir!
Many thanks
Paul
Superb filming, just spot on and ticks all the boxes.
Thanks for sharing. :-)
Poetry in motion....awesome.
Just awesome - I only wish I could have seen it again!

I love the Delta Lady, so beautiful. After she left you today she came to us at Headcorn Aerodrome. Awesome!
That is amazing footage, thank you for sharing that. She is one of our favorites as well. We saw her fly last year at Waddington. Wonderful.
What an amazing machine the volcan bomber was babe... xxxx
+Shane Stainsby So true - I only wish there were still more of them flying (and thanks for the 'babe', I like that! Made my day x 😁 )
Your most welcome babe xxx
Just amazing, must have been great flying such a beautiful and graceful plane !
Excellent footage :-) Right into my AVIATION playlist. Thank you :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!
Sensational. As ever. what a plane.
Impresionantes las pasadas que realiza a baja cota. Muchas gracias por compartir.

Another awesome video! well done.
Very nice video, thank you for sharing it.
Amazing place to have an airshow...
Great vid. Really got some good fly-bys up there at Beachy Head. I would have been there if someone hadn't decided to drive into me head-on on Friday morning!
Wow! it looks beautiful.
Thank you for the amazing footage
Christ, she's awesome. Great vid.
that was fantastic! very well filmed
That was special, even by Vulcan standards!
She will be missed.
What a majestic beast.
Nice to see that The VTTs trust are using your video in Hangwr 3 Doncaster for the Avro Heroes event
Beautiful . . .
Nice footage of the Vulcan.
The second most beautiful bomber ever made! (First will always be in my heart the Tu 160). Back in the late 50s it would look so futuristic and "space age"

supraking85 Where abouts were you?
I was pretty much under central pier
Awesome vid - superb. Look at about 3 min 35 secs. Looks almost like something fell off but could have been something in the line of sight. Hopefully more of this at Dunsfold next week.
fantastic footage! can't wait to see her at Rhyl and Dunsfold :D
Amazing footage
Those people in the boats got the best view.
Bloody hell, amazing
Awesome video Wonka.... Keep it up and a great turn around time from film to edit!
Fameux passage de la part du pilote......bien pour les spotters...sympathique le pilote....
Astonishing aircraft, easily the best bomber of its day.
So good, thank you!!
My god this is a stunning video
Amazing video, thanks for posting. Just a quick point, which two people in their right mind have hit the dislike button???
Brilliant video.
what an amazing plane, sorry to hear it will no longer be flying again......
3:34 Vulcan takes out bird while buzzing sailboats LOL !
awesome!!! gunna miss her
The Vulcan is not awesome and there's nothing American about it. It IS spectacular!
Is it necessary to take a swipe at America while admiring this nice bird?
I felt like I was watching my favorite 007 movie "Thunderball"
Beautiful plane!
My God that's a cool plane.
That climb at the end - wow! And those early bank angles approaching 90º, wonder how much altitude that loses?
It was an amazing sight!
a brilliant air show
