Laurie was planning on selling her. It’s why she lied about not having pills and drugged her with morphine. The closet they focus on might be where they keep other women, there’s a faint scratching sound if you listen closely. She narrowly escaped, but she was basically going to be sold into sexual slavery. Really scary. Zendaya won awards for her performance as Rue both seasons. She’s incredible
This is the episode I was waiting for ya'll to watch. My first time watching i had to pause, because if you ever had to sit through an intervention, INTENSE.
I felt so bad for Jules, she's the only one who stood up and told Rue's mom the truth, knowing it could put her relationship/friendship with Rue at risk. She's experienced addiction dealing with her mom, and the way she sat there and took all the hurtful things Rue said without retaliating was strong. She knows Rue is struggling and hopefully doesn't mean it, but a lot of people would not be able to handle that.
The police likely approached Rue because she’s an underage girl roaming the streets alone. Then when she threw up and started running they probably figured: underage intoxication or junkie causing trouble in a good neighbourhood.
Yayyy i’m so happy 🥳🥳 I truly wish you guys could experience what it was like to watch this episode in real time. Euphoria made the world unite during peak covid times & Twitter was so fun 😂
I feel like Cassie was genuinely trying to be nice but that is literally one of the worst things you can say to someone who is not only dealing with mental issues but is also a drug addict. It’s like those fake optimistic things people say when in reality is extremely hard to be in rues position it just feels extremely disingenuous. But yeah I guess it’s the sentiment that counts lmao
A chilling fact I learned after watching this episode was that traffickers usually have a lot of loud animals like birds and dogs to drown out their victims. That's why Laurie has a bunch of birds. Rue probably clocked this as well as the scratching noises when they focused on the locked room and realised she was in danger since Laurie had threatened to traffic her multiple times if she didn't get her money.
Jules sucks. When Rue confronts her, the first thing she said was "you were lying to me" so she literally just did that out of spite. Meanwhile she's hooking up with Elliott behind Rues back, the guy she was jealous of Rue over? 🗑️

Haha I keep hearing stories like this. We definitely missed out.

This episode was so stressful and perfect at the same time
It was so good!
Zendaya most definitely got all the tv awards for this role, both seasons.
Haha glad I was wrong about that.
Angus Cloud (Fez) unfortunately passed away last year so his character won't be back😕 ironically it was due to drug overdose.
💔💔
omg we’re hereee!!
The best episode of this show
Honestly.. I might have to agree with you.
This was one of the best episodes of the series

So. Good.
9:12 you should see how young he looks when he shaves lol they honestly should’ve had him shave for the show cuz he looks even younger 😭
