I am 69 years old and all my life I have read everything I could get my hands on about gold prospecting, exploring, trapping, and hunting in B.C. the Yukon Northwest Territories. I know I will never have the money or opportunity to do so. But thanks to you and your fellow prospectors I can see first hand what prospecting is about. You don't know how much I enjoy and learn from your videos. Look at all that gold. Man, that is a rich. Thanks so much for bringing me along.
Very nice ! ... this vid. Touches right onto what I am doing down here in Idaho . Your vids are furthering my knowledge of sampling and recognizion of ores and occurances of placers outside of the wet zones of the creeks/rivers I am finding fine gold in virtually every place I am sampling in this area Snake and Clearwater rivers and associated feeder streams/rivers . Lots of ancient streambeds all over this country , some of the richest buried under basalt lava flows that have been exposed by erosion and road construction Thanks for the education ! Gold to Ya'
Thank you for showing gold mining the way it really is. I've placer mined in california for many years, made a fair living at it too. Always enough to keep digging but never enough to get rich
Super Video!! Does Free Mill mean you can get it by crushing!!?? If you were to dry those Sulfides could you smell them?? Would the burn like Sulphur?? Why are all the great places not being Mined!! If I lived around there If the Land owner would permit it I would be working some of the seam/ vein!!
I bet the land owner was well pleased, I'm in westcounrty of uk and have found only very small amounts, pans like that are a dream, theres lots of very similar looking quartz veins around here so im off hunting soon as this dam lockdown is lifted
Would love to be there, lol. Some really good color in those pans! Love it! You guys are awesome and so is your content! Never disappointed! Always beautiful views too! 🙂👍
Shout out from a little town called mattawa Washington. I’m trying to get into gemstone and crystal hunting around my area any ideas on where to go near eastern Washington
You are in the heart of great prospecting country Ellensburg blue agates to your north at Ellensburg , Columbia river agates , Petrified wood at saddle mountains to your south Gold everywhere
This isn't on the homeowners property, we just panned our samples from the showings on his property as it is the closest creek on the way down the mountain with easy access (The showings on our claim). We checked out his property after for a few hours after we filmed this video and filmed a few pans but you will have to wait and see what goodies we found there! 😉👍👌
Thankyou, I had a great time!!! You are starting off the new year with some great video's and I fucking loved it when you picked that piece of gold up. I can barely wait for my girl to get home from school so we can watch it together.

Almost alll private land can be staked in BC. But there restrictions on mining near structure, buildings ect. If all private land wasn't avaliable there would be few claims in BC. Most of the forest are owned by logging companies. When you own land you don't own any mineral rights. You need to claim them.
Thank you for your reply. Things are a little different here in Texas and most states. If the land is publicly owned the sub surface rights belong to the US Government. Claims and drilling rights can be conveyed, but under rules laid down by the Government. Texas is a little different. Most of the land is privately owned with the exception of off shore rights and national forest and monuments. All sub surface rights belong to the surface owner, but the mineral rights can be sold. The exception is water. The owner has rights to the water for personal and agricultural use with some high use restrictions placed by the state for industry. There have been a number of water wars in courts in Texas for many years.
Our mining rights are pretty weird here makes it hard if your going on some claims, landowners put up fights and gates. Even though it says in the mines act right of way there not allowed to prohibit access...no one seems to care about the mining/exploration companies. Some claims even if you stake them if it's a crown grant you are restricted or can't mine at all.
Dude I’ve been watching all your vids and gol leee you guys find really good spots. If prospecting was a real profession these days you guys would be rock stars.... “most husbands can’t make it a full time job if they want to stay married and not let the fever take over”
Oh it's real it's just hard to get into, you need a couple good breaks and to find good properties. We make our wages off of it and it pays the Bill's. But its definitely hard to start

Nice work on the vids guys, easy to follow and the gold is amazing! Have you guys done much around Squamish?
We have had one claim out that way in the past. Took a trip across BC last year and found a bunch of potential properties we were intrested in.

How happy was the homeowner when you told him the news?

Hey when you guys send samples I to get tested and analyised who do you use and how much does it normally cost?
Totally varies as there are multiple methods and multiple elements and multiple tests, try ALS Minerals
Does it cost much to have your samples tested? Cool gold👍🏼❤️
I would hope you'd put a claim on this one! You guys are so lucky!
Wow!!! That's amazing, awsome 👍

A question: You said the owners of the creek would have to file a claim on their own land in order to pan for gold? That is just silly...
