Comparing shoulder and chest mount GoPro - need your input.

This short video is to compare a shoulder mount vs a chest mount GoPro while kayak fishing. I have noticed my hands/arms tend to get in the way of the camera when I am casting and fighting fish. I wanted to try a different mount location - please let me know which you prefer. Thanks for your input 😊😊. #kayakfishing #trollingfishing

Hi there the shoulder mount does get the camera angle up a little and it captures the voice a little louder but it's not too loud for me, and the video looks good on both.... you should just use whatever you feel most comfortable with so that your able to film without even having to think about it so much!! you joy is what I love the most!!! 😀

You are awesome dude! That particular mount was very frustrating to me lol. I have a new one that is much better and it actually works - my last 2 trips I used it and I really like the different angle and I’m not blocking the camera as much. When I get those posted I’ll let you know. Thanks for your input - have a great week!

Thanks for watching - it’s called the Stuntman vest mount with wide straps - it’s on Amazon for $24. I have it mounted on the left shoulder of my life jacket and I really like it. It’s just high enough up that my hands don’t get in the way of the camera. The downside is keeping it level - it’s a little harder to turn off and on and to replace batteries. But it replaced my chest mount and I haven’t used anything else. I just got a yak attack boom arm so new angles coming soon. In fact my next video will be using it so please let me know what you think. Thanks again for watching and tight lines my friend.
