Her hair looks photoshopped, sooo pretty 😍 And I agree that this beige brown color looks very nice on her. Nice to see you back Britney, I've been missing your videos, because I really like your personality and sense of humor and I am a fan of your talent, girl 👏
I'm actually glad you lifted her hair as light as you did. At least once her glaze fades, her hair won't be brassy. Also, that color looks absolutely stunning.
I seriously love watching your channel. I’ve been watching Guy Tang for a long time and I try to find other channels but I can never find any that give me the information that I need! BUT GIRL YOU DID THAT! I adore your knowledge.
Every curly cut you've uploaded or shown the result of has been amazing. I'm determined to come to your studio one of these days. I live in the OC maybe I'll take the train or something. I can't wait to see your new place. You're going to be suuuuuuuper successful if you keep doing curly cuts. It's so hard to find a stylist that can cut curly hair dry and do an amazing job.
I got my hair done today and I literally showed her a screenshot from this video and walked out of the salon with 1990s style streak highlights. I'm so sad
Britney Is literally the only one I trust, she is so honest about everything and is so passionate about her work. That's why I trust her and Guy tang, only.
I love videos like this! I’m more confident in cutting than I am in lighter/color. I graduated in August but sadly still looking for a job. Watching these definitely help learn about more techniques and freshen things up in my mind!
I need this!!! Omg! I literally toned my hair after watching one of your videos because something that you said made so much sense to me about the color I wanted... I always wondered why I didn’t get the cooler I was thinking about in my head but the problem was I wasn’t describing it properly for the hair stylist to under stand me!!! I never elaborated if I wanted a cool or warm or neutral or if I wanted to go lighter... This whole time I was setting my self up for hair failure!!! But you have opened my eyes
It looks so good That one time I asked for subtle highlights, that hairdresser bleached the hell outta my virgin hair with 40 vol, turned me into blonde and burned my hair Never again
Ugh I shoulda just gone to you. I went to this girl that just fryed my hair. I ended up just chopping it all off. It's pretty short now. But I guess at least now it'll have a chance to grow healthier because my ends were pretty damaged beforehand anyway.
Girl I love your vids so much. I’m 20, live in Texas and you make me want to travel to not only get my hair done by you but also just like talk and chit chat with you!
wait why at 17:00 it looked like brown with blonde highlights and at 17:25 it looks actually like a lighter brown and it looks amazing? was it just the lighting or is that just how it looks close up?
I am fascinated how you foil from the top, down, instead of from the hairline. I got SO bashed by other stylists when I tried this once. I start at the hairline, now, but wonder why you do that. I had MY reasons, but after being "foil shamed," I stopped. Now, I work alone, in a studio. Oh, and, By the way, VERY pretty results. (LOVE the GI tones!)
Loooooove this video, because i loved to see you doin' your own work and doin' it with passion!! 💕 You're great Brittney and an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G hairstylist.👏👏 Kisses from Portugal 😘
I love her highlights. So pretty. You mentioned postpartum hair loss in this video. I had a baby a year ago and I am dealing with my little hairs growing back, but I have medium to long hair with long layers and I do not want to get a mom cut to hide the regrowth. Do you have any styling tips to help hide them?
Please please please reply back. I want to get highlights but I want to know what’s the difference between a full head of highlights and half a head. I also want to if my natural hair colour will come back or if it will change if I do get highlights? 💕
Hi brittney i have a question, iv gad my roots dyed about a level 4/5 brown and thr rest of my hair is blue, would i be able to have my roots bleached and dyed blue or wpuld the bleach not be able to lift my hair light enough for the dye to take
How much time did it take you for this highlights? And what developer did you use? Mine takes from hour to two hours, and Im always scared not to burn my clients hair if I keep lightner too long on a first section
Would blonde highlights look good on already colored hair? I've had highlights before, got it dyed dark brown few months ago, and I now I miss my highlights, so would it look ok if I do it on colored hair?
Hi! i love you channel especially your videos on hair advice and tutorials I was wondering if you could help me, I currently have a dark brown dye in my hair and have been doing it for years. I'm thinking about going lighter but I am not sure how to start! would you recommend doing something like this to get my hair lighter? ,if not what would you recommend doing that isn't extremely damaging? thanks!!
If I ever had the chance to sit at your salon I'd just be like "Pick something awesome." I like it when I just let stylists go ham. I get all sorts of wild stuff I wouldn't expect and it's just hair. I don't think I've ever had a haircut I didn't like. :D
Whenever I get a highlight, it always looks tacky on me because it has such a stark contrast to my base color. I wish I could show this video to my next stylist. Well done Brittney for always listening to your client while actually executing what's best for them.
Question: have you ever cut, colored or highlighted a long pixie cut?And how would you go about it? Just asking your opinion because I had my hair highlighted and a supposed rose gold color added at a school once and it got F**ed up,thank god they were willing to fix it for free or ide be calling the head of the school lol :0/ anyway they technique they used was just a highlighting cap because they(both student and teacher) claimed my pixie cut was to short to use foils on? It was a longer pixie cut with the longer top layer bangs(like Pink the singer) and grown out so I couldn't understand why they couldn't use foils? Was this my misunderstanding or were they just Full of S**t :0/ needless to say I've Never gone back since.
Hi Brittney! I think your work is stunning! I have a question for you, so I have been going to the same hairstylist for a couple of years now. She is a personal friend and I think she does a good job. I usually get highlights very similar to this whenever I go. I have a pretty cool undertone to my skin so I always ask for a very ASHY toner because I feel like my hair tends to get brassy very easily/quickly. It also just suits my skintone better in my opinion. Well, everytime I get home from the salon, the color is never what I was hoping for. My blonde is always golden. I notice she uses a 7N toner most of the time I believe. I have gone back a few times to have her re-tone but at this point I just don't know what to suggest to her to get her to understand what I want. I feel like I'm the one doing something wrong at this point. Any suggestions on what I should tell her? Or any specific products? Thanks so much! (also, I have tried a Wella T18 toner on myself and it did work a little bit but since I already pay so much to get my hair done I hate the thought of paying for products to do myself and the risk of ruining my hair on accident.)
AshlynBiggers77 show her pictures. Let her know that next time you want something more ashy then before. If the wella T18 is not working she may not be lightening it enough.
I usually do, and show her a picture. I have tried the Wella toner on myself, but maybe that was the case. I don't remember what brand she uses. I was too scared to try a semi permanent on myself which is usually what she uses to tone my hair.
I want everyone to know...Balayage is a technique, and not a "look." Foil work is classic, and consistent in results. Yes, It's more time, but it is gorgepus.
hey thts true lol i had a huge cut last yr and literally been wanting to colour mine since i was a kid wht if i just want to do my tips like a lighter brown honey blonde type ombre balayage highlights onlyyy ?? wht products u suggest as an alternative to toner? like will ash blonde dye work ? i want something like ashley from best dressed hair? caramel highlights only my tipss hant how do i do it cant find anything on youtube for dark hair
Her hair looks photoshopped, sooo pretty 😍 And I agree that this beige brown color looks very nice on her. Nice to see you back Britney, I've been missing your videos, because I really like your personality and sense of humor and I am a fan of your talent, girl 👏
I just love your passion for hair 😊... it’s great that you constantly learn and improve your techniques. Love the color and the layers!
I'm actually glad you lifted her hair as light as you did. At least once her glaze fades, her hair won't be brassy. Also, that color looks absolutely stunning.
I would love to see a video on how to do highlights on curly hair! There aren't too many good ones on youtube.:)
Why can't any hairstylist do that where I live... Should I just show them this tutorial
i don't see why not!
Where does she works?
HAHAHAHHAAHHAHA MEE TOOO!!!!!! Hahhahha
I seriously love watching your channel. I’ve been watching Guy Tang for a long time and I try to find other channels but I can never find any that give me the information that I need! BUT GIRL YOU DID THAT! I adore your knowledge.

Megan Jensen money pieces?
Love the outcome!👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Full head of highlights =means your entire head.
Half head of highlights = just part of you head.
This is so gorgeous 😍😍😍

Hi brittney i have a question, iv gad my roots dyed about a level 4/5 brown and thr rest of my hair is blue, would i be able to have my roots bleached and dyed blue or wpuld the bleach not be able to lift my hair light enough for the dye to take

Xenia Alekseenko Shades EQ makes the hair look soooo shiny and reflective.
Whenever I get a highlight, it always looks tacky on me because it has such a stark contrast to my base color. I wish I could show this video to my next stylist. Well done Brittney for always listening to your client while actually executing what's best for them.

Megan Jensen use a ashy toner
Love the video!
Now I`m definatly gonna get foiled highlights at my next paycheck
Beautiful!!
Hi Brittney, nice video! I was wondering, did you cut the hair of the curly girl dry also?
Depending on the type of curl I cut curly hair wet or dry. Her curl is very tight so I cut it half dry then wet after shampooing
I want more of these! Please teach classes!
