    Best belt by far. Unequaled quality. Best part is the company that makes them. Incredible customer service and Dona is a first class lady and a pleasure to deal with. They have a lifetime loyal customer. Thank you for all your help. Not many companies like this around.

    Wow! I hope Klikbelts send you a brand new one because that test will surely convince people of the strength of this belt. I like that they make custom size for us big fellas! At the same price as their standard sizes too! That is cool!

    cool review:0 that belt is a miniature "snatchum strap" . I carry a 30 foot 20,000 pound one in my truck coiled up under the front seat. pulled many vehicle's out of the ditch:)

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +40belowful that's probably not the intended use for this one, but it was fun seeing if it worked.

    If you live in a wet environment, swap out the nylon webbing for polyester seat-belt material. Nylon is highly absorbent and prone to mildew. Polyester dries rapidly and is mildew resistant. One other advantage (in polyester's favor) is the strength to weight ratio. Obviously you'd need to need to do some sewing, to match the former construction.. But maybe you'd rather not stitch it..? Maybe you see an advantage to carrying an extra long piece of super-strong, lightweight strapping..? Austria Alpin does manufacture all manner of buckles too. Some have slides on each side, leaving you without the need for a single stitch.. If you source your own materials, you can rebuild this design with some significant improvements.

    it seems not as stiff as other type of edc gun belts. I wonder if that would be a problem because it's not stiff

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not. They have a gun belt model that is designed for concealed carry th-cam.com/video/-ILRXy6UNn0/w-d-xo.html

      @mastalee1776 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Survival On Purpose yea I just realized that. anyhow they had a discount of 15% off. cause of your review I went ahead and bought one.
      thanks. hopefully this belt will compliment by OTB holster and soon my stealthgearusa IWB for my g19.
      would you do a review on a stealth gear usa holsters?

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably not. I'm sure they are a good holster but I am 100% sold on my Hawg Holster. It is so easy to conceal and works perfectly. I am just not a big fan of that style holster. Now, to be honest, I have never tried one but they just seem like more than I need. I take the philosophy "if is ain't broke, don't fix it". Here's my latest video about the Hawg Holster. th-cam.com/video/osF8R0ADGzI/w-d-xo.html
      By the way, if you go to their website you will see a video I made for them. I did that under contract to demo how to use the Ulticlip. I have no interest in the company, financial or otherwise. I just like the holster a lot.

    What kinda buckle is that? Is it a Cobra buckle? ;-P

  • @dwightehowell6062
    @dwightehowell6062 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I respect the really strong fastener but it won't go through my belt loops either.

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dwight E Howell that is one thing I like about this belt. Unlike other cobra buckle belts have tried this one is really easy to slip The naked end through your belt loops and then connect it to the buckle very quickly. No Velcro to try to fish back through your belt loops. Honestly it is just as quick to put on and take off as a regular belt

    • @dwightehowell6062
      @dwightehowell6062 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay but doesn't that mean the real fastener isn't even the apparent buckle? Seems weird to say the least.

      That is cool for a leather belt but this is probably a little more weight/stress.

    • @leatherpunk
      @leatherpunk 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've found it really boils down to the buckle. If I tied the leather in a knot and left off the buckle, I bet it could handle triple the weight or more.

  • @rawhideleather
    @rawhideleather 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nothing special about this belt. I mean who really needs 4,000 lbs. of support? Too many similar belts with much better design features. This doesn't even have Velcro or a belt keeper to keep the tail end from flopping around? No thanks.
