Thanks for the shout-out. Ian is a character like no other. I got to meet him in Italy. I hope to see him again. One day I hope to see slingshots become a Olympic sport too. Hopefully my eyes are still in good shape then. Great interview yet again Benji.
A legend in the game, and a true gentleman, got a lot of time for Ian, and if anyone wants to come and shoot a comp, camp bob is open to all of you, you will love it, and u will all be made to feel so welcome,
Thanks for the shoutout ! Now you’ve said it it would have to be the actual competition that would have to be regulated ie targets and method of competition to get it to be world wide recognised :) and camp bob is great I went to a competition there before Christmas was a great set of lads ! I felt a bit star struck around jumbo and the other lads haha
@@theslingden not sure if you know camp bob but that’s near Durham that’s the furthest one up north I believe I’ve came across but it’s literally about 5 minutes from my house so ideal for me got made to feel so welcome even though I was so nervous I was shooting in the same group as nick hegarty such a good experience
Awesome job Benji!! I knew what you meant when you said you wish you could go back to the beginning when it was hard to hit a can..every day there was a new achievement to celebrate. Good stuff brother!👍👊
@@theslingden Me too bud, still have a lot to learn, it’s just that in the beginning hitting anything at all made me celebrate, now it’s a little more difficult to get that happy feeling you know.
There is a part of that but I do believe it’ll become increasingly more difficult to design something truly original that doesn’t look similar to someone else’s design with it just being a Y shape
I could show you loads of stuff that looks nothing like anything anyone else had made catapult design has definitely not come to a dead end just the are no one designing stuff like the used to be but is definitely a line before it becomes too crazy an unshootable an not a practice frame an more a novelty
Skipman is an absolute gent and will forever be a legend in the sport
Top man lan 👍 cheers for the shout out, Camp Bob Alma thud😊

Yeah man for sure… I think the biggest jump is the 60mm spinner going to the 40 has been a stumbling block in terms of consistency
@@theslingden Same here, the 40 always gives me trouble, I actually have about the same success rate on the 25mm as the 40, strange but true lol.
Another great episode Benji well done Mate 👏 🎯
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Heck yeah its about time Benji
I know thanks brother.. a lot more to come this year 👍🏻
Skipman top bloke 😊
Hi bengi, nice to see ya man
Hey hey!

Its not hard to make something original some people just have a lack of creativity an love to cash in on other makers popularity
