About the plastic storage--hack: also put a few cedar spheres or a small block in each, to do the same function (moth repelling) that your chest itself does (even more important for medium to long-term storage). . And about the Doppio sweater. You are not committed to it right now. You should do whatever feels best to you. . But here are five reasons *that you yourself mentioned * why you *should* do it: . It's a pattern you like; it looks to be a fairly quick knit-up; you already have sufficient lovely matching yarn for it; you'd be doing it in concert with dear friends with whom you've been last year and will be in Ireland this Fall; and, it will give you permission to buy other useful, beautiful yarn next time you are there. That's a lot of *plus-side.* All I'm saying. . Take it as you will.
YES - go Doppio go! Souvenir yarn from Ireland in a garment on another Ireland trip would be absolutely amazing! thanks for another wonderful video. I’m glad you “stuck to it” and re-recorded the episode. Thanks! Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
I love how your videos make it seem like I’m talking to a regular person😊. You have a great conversational style that makes you so enjoyable and relatable and not like a TV presenter.
Totally agree about new knitting skills. It’s difficult but fun. And, like you said good to have more tools at your disposal. Would love to see a demo of the tool belt one day. Great hat. It’s so funny how colors react to each other-the fawn looks white in the hat. (I actually love that fawn color.)
Lovely cowl and headbands. And, I’m so with you on learning new knitting skills. P.S. I think everything about the Doppio sounds like fun. Such pretty colors.
OMG!!! That cowl you made is the only one that has made my heart sing this Summer. Thank you for sharing it and looking forward to seeing a pattern for it. So beautiful 😊
Maybe if you have a pretty container, like a basket, put the combination of yarn in an area you go by often. Pet them, rearrange them, have fun. Like you said, maybe never, ut stop to smell, fondle, pet all the yarns that "give you joy". (Psst, sound familiar) 😉 😊
I really like your cowl. I’d love to test knit for you. Where will you advertise your testing call? I love the grape jam colorway you used for your Greta. It’s a great purple. 💜💜💜
Hey Rachel; Yvonne here. I would DEFINITELY want 2 B a participant in your Cowl Test Knit 🧶 Definitely can CO the Doppio Sweater; GR8 color combination-if you don’t finish it in time 4 Ireland 🇮🇪 then bring it with you 2 work on the ✈️ 🚎, dinner time, etc

I love the idea of the color blending on the Doppio. And having the white held throughout will give the fabric just enough color consistency.
I started with the white and I actually hated it! So funny. I thought it would be great too!

Yes, difficult but fun is exactly it. I agree about the colors - it's so interesting to see what happens when you group one vs another!
Yes on the doppio! Love all the colors.
Oh, Rachel! That yarn is beautiful!
I love the colors you picked out for the doppio! If time is of the essence, then maybe pick whichever sweater you're most excited about!
Great idea!!
I love the colors you picked for your doppio, I think that you should make it.
Rats. Are. Back. 🙌🙌🙌

Regarding the Doppio, do it!
Working on my dewdrops cowl right now!
Yay! Thank you for testing for me!
Definitely a yes for the Doppio! Question: where do you get your lavender sachets?
I usually get bulk lavender on Amazon and then some organza bags and make them myself.
@@rachelisknitting thank you for the tip!

Thank you! I have the link for the test call on my Instagram page 😁
Apparently something shifted in the atmosphere a week or so ago because it seems like everyone suddenly looked up and said in unison "Doppio"
We CANNOT resist its call!
