the recycling center was always my favourite. i stopped playing around when the tree was “planted” outside, and even though i didn’t have too much interest in the game after that i still logged on every so often to check out how much the tree had grown. it’s a weird thing, i suppose, but i feel like i grew up with that tree. then i’d go in to the recycling center and spam the daylights out of the recycling throwing mechanic, haha. recyclobot still gets stuck in my head constantly even though it’s been ages since i last heard it. thank you for making the music in this game so wonderful, man. sorry for the long personal anecdote under a video about music, haha

I'm pretty sure there was confirmation or atleast acknowledgement in the newspaper in the waddle on party. Chances are it would be difficult to tell a lighthearted story about probably the least lighthearted in Club Penguin. There's also a chance the writers believe they peaked with the Tusk storyline, and wanted to leave it as the finale. I think the most reasonable answer though, is that the original staff were working on it, and with flash being discontinued, Disney decided to shift resources on Club Penguin Island. Development on everything that wasn't the waddle on party was probably just cut.
Items belonging to a shadow ninja attire were added some time before the website was shut down, complete with it’s own special dance and wave animation. These were: the shade sandals, nightfall coat, midnight mask and helmet of shadows. So I’d say it’s pretty safe to assume thet cj shadow was at least planned to happen
In my opinion, the original Card Jitsu is Card Jitsu Shadow. Think about it: Ninjas can turn into shadows, its one of their only special abilities They're in all black whenever you see a ninja; a very common shadow colour When you obtain the amulet, theres a stone in the middle. That stone is the shadow stone. Just a theory.
The Brown Puffle Lab theme is one of my favorite compositions of yours. It fit so well with the rooms and the sense of discovery and cuteness. There is a song by Django Reinhardt that is said to be his answer to Powerhouse, called "Rhythm Future".
Powerhouse sounds like something I've heard on cartoon network over the years whether it be in shows or promos, also makes me think of Cartoon Network's "powerhouse era" from the 90s. These music tracks are very bouncy and quirky, they fit perfectly with those rooms.
i know you said you don't like the bakery in a sense of how chaotic it sounded, but even if its not my favorite i actually really appreciate how chaotic it was! I could hear dishes breaking and penguins exclaiming in horror at their burned cookies! I can hear a penguin getting excited when he sees how well a batch of cookies came out! I can hear a little bit of holiday whimsicalness, but its barely making its way through all the chaos. It was really well done!!

As someone who has worked retail, the lull in the mayhem during Gingerbread Manic is really accurate when working during the holidays. You'll get hundreds of people through the checkout lines, and it is a mad dance to get everyone rung up and on their way. Then those crowds die down and it is a less hectic lull as you check the money in the register, restock bags, and refill the receipt paper before the next wave hits. I love that. Might be unintentional, but it is the vibe I got.
I love that interpretation! It wasn't exactly intentional in that way, but I do prefer songs to have dynamic flow to them. A song can't be crazy energy 100% of the time, or you feel exhausted after a few loops through.

Ive always genuinely wondered if I had any impact on the brown puffles character because as a kid I would always write in about ideas for costumes, characters, designs etc etc and I specifically remember suggesting a brown puffle that was a mad scientist… so when the brown puffle event happened and it was centred around the little guy being a scientist/inventor I was stoked and ran around the house saying I gave them that idea 😂

I relate to that so much, only for me I find my inspiration for things to draw from the music I listen to! I strongly dislike music with words because they already have the story imagined. But instrumental music like the things you've created inspire me to create many amazing cool and weird scenes and worlds (fantasy based) that I wouldn't have had the creative liberty to imagine and create otherwise. I can even listen to the same song 3 times and come up with 3 totally different scenes and worlds. None of them will be the same or relate to each other in any way. At least now I know who I could potentially contact in the future for music when I get my own video game created! And once I have concepts drawn out for it.
