So I'm old-ish (67) and the company I work for - for the past 30 years let me decide to only work 4 days a week about 14 months ago - but still be considered full time. So I'm always off on Fridays... it is now my "honey-do" day. After my wife and I do yard chores... I come in here to my office (I'm a software engineer) with a cold lemonade and watch Phoebe's Fretless Fridays. The name has the double meaning for me because when I was a young man, I would always fret about getting all my weekend "dad-chores" done before Sunday came (we never work on Sunday). But now that I have Fridays off... well... Fridays are always fretless for me. PLUS I love the banjo ranging from Bela to Allison Brown to Allison De Groot. You can never be sad with a banjo. When I die, I want to have Gregorian Chant at my funeral Mass and claw hammer banjo at the graveside. Music moderates reality. Keep up the good work!
Phoebe is a inspiration to me . I’m 65 years old , retired . My hobby is wood working but I’m going to try to build a banjo and give it a try

My great grandma used to spray the chickens down with the hose when it got really hot. They don't seem to like it much, but it cools them down!

So many memories of the Big Texan, even ate the 72oz meal in an hour as a teen, makes me giggle every time i see that cup. I loved the bassy slides it goes well in between the high runs! a great way to bridge emotional runs within the music!

I have to confess I like watching you partially because your face, mannerisms and attitude remind me so much of one of my adult daughters who moved away to your general area (ie a western state) last year and audaciously took my grandkids with her! She is also into chickens! But I really enjoy the banjo music for the intrinsic value of your interpretations.

A chicken's body temperature is typically between 105º and 107ºF. That's high enough to kill a human if left unchecked. Drinking water doesn't effect a chicken like it does you because they don't sweat. They don't lose water that way. Your chickens will be fine if the temperature does go over 100ºF for too long.
