I would like to say 2 things regarding this video: 1. I admit my mistake with Ateez - I in fact wasn’t aware of the Block B situation so I do admit - my mistake and I apologize for any problems. Obviously, I take back what I said in video and I will do more research next time. 2. Stray kids and self-made situation - I admit I forgot to mention that Chan picked his members himself and I understand many people think they are self-made because of this reason - creating own logo, own lineup etc. and I agree. However in video I answered directly to the comments, which were talking about privillege being from famous company - that’s why I decided to talk about that. As I said, Stray kids worked their asses of and just being in famous company is not enough for idols to successed. But they are from a famous company, thats why I decided to mention it. The term "Self-made" is very problematic, because many people have a different opinions what it exactly means. I do apologize for any inconvenience and I will try to voice my opinion more clearly and from multiple angles next time. xo
I think part of the reason people say stray kids are self made is because jyp did not assemble the group or choose its members chan did that on his own from jyp trainees and jyp didn’t initially want them to all debut together. But Chan fought for all of them and they fought themselves and in the end it worked out.
Thats definitely a point of view I forgot to mention in the video. I agree, that Chan did this on his own and picked the members. I feel like I focused more on the part of their opinion where they said that other groups made their company and Twice made JYP. Thats why I focused on the privilige being under big company, but I agree with you for sure
I have a question: what happened to the members Chan didn't pick? Did Chan give reasons why he chose one trainee over another? Did the eliminated trainees debut elsewhere? Every survival show that I have watched has disgruntled fans who complain about their choice not making the cut and that the resulting group is full of "dozens". The backlash lasts for years with fans bashing the show, labels, judges, etc. for choosing looks/connections over talent. How did Chan/JYP handle the angry fans of those not chosen?
@@kaylabunnie5283 so for their survival show there are no trainees that didn’t debut. Jyp basically gave them a survival show for the group Chan had already put together while they were trainees unofficially. 3racha started sort of first as their production group that wrote the songs together and then he picked other members he thought would fit from all the trainees. He has said in interviews recently he just picked who he thought felt right. JYP actually eliminated Felix and Lee Know during the course of the show kicking them out of the group. But they fought to keep training and Chan fought to keep them, and in the last episode JYP brought them back for a final test to see if they could debut with the group, and then they all did. JYP did also make them complete in like the first episode against the group that would become itzy for which would debut but it wasn’t really the survival part because the rest of the episodes were about who would debut in stray kids(called originally boys project by JYP). JYP wanted to eliminate nonessential members to the group to shape it but they were all essential and in the end he saw that. They named themselves stray kids too and Chan drew their original SKZ logo. So that’s why people say self made as in JYP didn’t put them together Chan did. Chan put them together before there was ever a survival show or a chance they’d be a group, and because of his and the boys efforts JYP decided to give them a shot to debut as a group. In that manner of self organization/creation I don’t know of another group that made themselves as completely as stray kids did.
@@beckfry5374 So the definition of "self made" in this case is that Chan chose the members and created the music, logo, etc. It's not the way kpop fans usually apply the "self made" definition so I guess that is why many don't include them in their listings. I assume that Chan was with JYPe for a long time because I can't see someone like JYP, let alone his company's board of directors, giving so much control and resources to some kid fresh off the street. I heard a little about Felix being eliminated but the person telling me about it didn't explain it like you do here. I thought it was a traditional survival show but it looks like it was JYP putting Chan's resolve and composure to the test. Considering all that JYP was putting on the line (money, studio time, seasoned staff, JYPe's reputation, influence and power) he had to be sure Chan could handle the weight of being leader of so much responsibility...he had to be sure he was making the right choice trusting Chan.
@@kaylabunnie5283 Yes Chan was a JYP trainee for 7 years and almost debuted a few times he was suppose to be part of GOT7 but then Bambam who was not only one of his best friends but also his roommate got picked to debut over him. It’s also part of why SKZ featured in a lot of twice content near their beginning it wasn’t just to promote SKZ but also that Chan had trained with and been friends with the members for years. And yes Felix leaving was something else. Lee know was eliminated first and it was rough. But he’d been with them for the least time, he was a bts back up dancer before becoming a jyp trainee and at this time he’d only been a trainee about two months, had had almost no vocal lessons because he had to learn all the trainee choreography in like 6-8 weeks and had literally never even attempted to rap before. Then Felix was eliminated and it’s actually heart breaking to watch because at the point Chan and the other members have no idea Felix and Lee Know will get a chance to rejoin them, they think this means for sure they aren’t debuting together. Felix and Chan grew up in the place in Australia and when he came to jyp they had a little piece of home together. Felix didn’t really speak Korean at all, he can’t even say how old he is in Korean in one of the episodes so Chan was one of the only people he could really talk to. And Chan having been there for 7 years and seen all his friends he initially trained with either debut without him or quit was trying not to get attached to anyone else but he couldn’t help it with Felix. So when Felix is eliminated thinking it will be the last time he is with the group Chan says, “Always find me. I’m not gonna leave you behind.” Truly a line that could have come right out of kdrama, but it why people talk about Felix’s leaving being so emotional.
I think when STAY's say SKZ is self made they mean that their leader (bang chan) assemble the group, decided on their own group name, designed their own logo and JYP had no involvement. He made them participate in a survival show as a promotion strategy to show off their skills. Besides being from a big 3 company, skz wasn't popular until they released miroh, and their popularity peaked with God's Menu
Sure skz came from a big 3 company which comes with some benefits financially but other than that Chan selected the members, Chan created their name, and logo himself, they created the slogan, fanchant and fandom name themselves, they write and produce their own music and some members (Hyunjin & Lee know) sometimes choreograph parts of their chores. JYP is often accused of not promoting its groups well as groups such as itzy and nmixx have a lot of talent and potential but are not promoted correctly so that they can gain success and not to mention skz was considered an experimental group at first so the company put in little to no effort in supporting them whatsoever until they gained popularity with songs like Miroh and God's menu. Take a look at some of their old b-sides such as boxer and N/S (which they took themselves on the streets), also they create lore for their songs so that there is a story that ties in all the elements and creates a deeper meaning (which is not seen in other groups under their label or many other groups in the industry). Also the members have said they pay for their own vocal lessons which surely you would expect a big company like JYP to pay for.
I somewhat disagree on the children being the only ones to start fanwars part because although it is true that there are children out there who are new to kpop and get offended easily and start fights, I think it is naive to assume that it's children who are usually the ones to do this. Kpop is just as full of toxic adults who lack maturity and get into hundreds of arguments with each other over something dumb and also lack logic and insight considering toxic fans like saesangs or some people on social media. Even the ones who like to dunk on idols who don't fit into the beauty standards- these are almost always adults. That's why I feel like it's very possible for adults to be just as unreasonable (especially the extreme stans) but I get it's your opinion. And like you mention later too, it's very true that fans like to infantilize idols by telling them they can't date/ smoke etc as if it's any of their business or when they think their favourite idol is so innocent.
I definitely do not think only kids are toxic! I talked about situation here on youtube or on the internet - you wouldnt believe how many hate comments I get because of my videos - and most of them are from kids. Saesangs and offline (online too ofc) is a totally different situation! I agree adults can be very toxic too! But my examples in the video were from my own expercience, thats why I talked about it :)
ok i totally agree with the jyp being the best company. at this point, if anyone ranks the big3+hybe and put hybe at last for vocals, they get massive hate, but genuinely none of the big3 have any groups with any problems singing live and hybe has 2 or 3 (nwjns has improved a LOT since debut) jyp choreos r literally insane. like any skz choreo is crazy, nmixx choreo literally has BACKFLIPS and itzy's choreos r just hands down super difficult. jyp is probably also the least controversial company, and jyp idols (esp. skz) have a lot of interactions with other idols, at this point, there are so many 9th members of skz that i literally cant count. skz has done a dance challenge with basically almost every somewhat popular kpop group out there
At this point even JYP himself interacts with other groups more than YG groups do 💀💀 I agree with everything you wrote! (btw, do we all obsess over Ni-ki and Hyunjin Chk chk boom dance challenge or its just me?)
@@Tkara8 have u ever watched a skz concert n heard the constant shouting, growling, forgetting of lyrics, laughing, and singing in the wrong language?? please tell me you're joking
that comment talking about best vocal and dance w out mentioning ateez is wild to me lol-- literally everyone in the industry, seniors and professionals has given them the highest praise and respect in both categories especially for their live vocals. they were considered leagues above most idol groups in dance since predebut with the viral release of the KQ Fellaz performance clips and have even worked on projects as a dance crew. ik it's an opinion and ofc i respect that but lets give some credit to these boys they're THE biggest group outside the big 4! (sry this is strongly worded i didn't mean to type in such a negative way just trust thats not the tone im going for
No worries, I understand what are you trying to say! I agree, they are really good at dancing and singing, but in my opinion, even tho the have pheonemal dance line and vocal line, what I personally LOVE the most about them is their stage presence! In my opinion, their stage presence is unmatched and definitely one of the best! But yeah, I do agree they could be in that list too :) They are definitely currently the biggest 4th gen group outside of big 4! And they deserve everything they have!
Here is my hot take on shipping culture. Shipping is built into the foundation of k-pop, particularly western fan culture! Just like how idol's are presented as the ideal love interest, they are also put together for shipping purposes, because shipping goes insanely viral in terms of compilations and edits. Shipping is just another layer of free promotion with very little effort on the idol/companies part. Like you can not tell me that Minsung, Woosan and Yeonbin as insanely popular ship's are not hugely encouraged by the companies, and frankly all these idol's seem VERY aware of what they are doing. Heck they call each other pet names, hug, fake kiss each other and even joke about being married couples and dating. It's all very intentional. So when you take into consideration that the majority of Kpop fans (particularly in the west) are girls between 12 -18, you know girls with a lot of romance on the brain, a little experience with fanfiction (which is primarily gay shipping) and beautiful men completely unattainable for them, acting in this very much not subtle affection and romantic subtext, which I will say again is intentionally being used, can you really blame them for resorting to shipping these idols. Can they really be condemned for essentially doing exactly what they have been set up to do by these companies? Like whether it is justifiable is another question, but personally I think this responsibility relies with the company. Just like Parasocial relationships, the industry is literally built on it, and even if reasonable adult's acknowledge that this is a messed up system, can people really be blamed for essentially using the product (Kpop) as intended by the Manufactures (companies.) Like I said, that doesn't make toxic behaviour's morally okay, but who is truly to blame here, the emotional, hormonal and naive children who are consuming what they see as a fun and harmless hobby as it was intended, or does the fault lie with the Multi-Million dollar corporations which are boxing up these unethical practices in a shinny costume and selling it to these children? For me that's a pretty damn simple question.
In regards to the SKZ self made thing, there's also that fact that JYP considered them an experimental group and while JYP funded the comebacks, the company didn't do much on the promotion side (JYP does tend to do that with their male groups, GOT7 you deserved better). At one point I think JYP himself made public disparaging remarks about EDM when SKZ had an EDM comeback going on. SKZ also used to make homemade videos for b-sides, I mean it's pretty much them with their cell phones and selfie sticks until they started to gain some popularity
Honestly, got7 did worse after leaving jyp. Their songs are not so great anymore and their promotion sucks, I didn’t even know they come out with new songs until much much later.
for skz, the self - made part is true in most cases considering they were BARELY famous before god's menu era as felix and hyunjin went viral.. unlike bts popularity helping txt in intial days, twice popularity didn't helped them at all, thanks to jyp's shitty promo and they literally named skz as one of the flop groups of jyp for awhile lol. (you can check the stats) so yes they were self made.
for smoking, i dont care about idols smoking but it might be concerning for their health and voices. its something i wouldnt hate on or say '____ cant smoke' but i'd js be a bit concerned about their health and move on
Personally I don't care what company you come from... if you put as much work into a group as someone like Chan has building it from the bottom up then you're self made. Also people seem to forget all those videos where JYP literally gave them a selfie stick with a camera and was like go make a music video then let them run amuck.. Stray Kids indeed 😂 Being backed by money does not guarantee success. Does it help? Absolutely. Is it the be all, end all? No. You still have to put that work in. As someone who works for myself, I speak from experience. Yes I had financial assistance but that doesn't take away from all the hardwork I do. I bust my butt to stay afloat.
Yes, skz are from the big 3 companies but what we stays mean when we say that theyre self made is how Chan, skz’s leader chose the members, they made their own logo, they write their own songs and so much more. For a long time until Gods Menu (which is when their popularity peaked) am pretty sure they were called the flops of JYP before that. And the comment that said ‘Twice basically made them’ made no sense. So, my point is, skz are *definetly* a self made grp. But i understand why you say that its 50/50.
Hey! I have to 3 things before you write: 1. Yes, I know JYP mistreats their artists too. I am not saying the company is perfect - no company is perfect. They have their issues, but I still think out of all big companies, JYP is the best. 2. Many of these opinions may be popular - I asked you to send me your unpopular opinions, but it’s still possible, some of them are popular (that’s why the word unpopular is in the brackets!) 3. I exported this video 4 times, it’s one of the longest videos I have ever made, so I hope you like it!
So Hybe is a bad company because idols are injured?? Did you ever think that Hybe might be more transparent about the health of their idols than other agencies?
@@thecopycatcustomvintage They might be. Its possible. But thats still not the only reason why I personally dont like Hybe. Its only one of the reasons. If you like Hybe, I respect it.
Okay let's rephrase the " best company" opinion........ You may not think JYP is the best company, but you cannot deny the fact that JYP is least problematic among the big companies
For the JYP best company one, I totally agree. I'm not even being biased. I am a loyal fan of Stray Kids, Twice, Itzy, and Nnmixx and I'm not only saying JYP is the best company because of the groups I like in it and because it has that "family image". I am saying this purely from what I have heard, but it's because the company treats their idols best. HYBE had or has many injured idols right now, and as you said with the other companies, YG is destroying their girl groups, SM is horrible to their foreign idols, Starship has favoritism, and CUBE... we won't say. And I also think it's because JYP has experience of being an idol himself. Even though he used to be the CEO and isn't the CEO anymore, he clearly knows how to manage his company and knows how to deal with being an idol. They are also the least controversial and has some of the best and talented groups out there! They also interact with many idols from other companies and are by far a company I consider auditioning to. No joke, JYP probably has learned from their mistakes but if anything was said wrong here, I can edit it.
I wouldn't really call this an opinion, but a statement. Theres a huge difference between criticism and hate. Im tired of going on TikTok and seeing people like SultryFilm hating on idols. It's not like the people in the comments are any better either. "SultryFilm is my guilty pleasure" or something like that. Its not like you all are any better, having fun hating and bullying idols 😭 Like you said in your video, its okay for you to dislike something, but if its disrespectful you might as well stfu (You just earned yourself a sub!!
I love how you respond to everyone's opinion so respectfully, it shows that you are very mature. you even convinced me on some of their opinions. You just gained a subscriber
Stray kids the most talented group u have ever witnessed. I agree Stray kids rap line is in top they are the very versatile and fastest ( changbin)rapper in k-pop even all members can rap . Also they have very good vocal line i put them very high compared to 4th,5th gen. Their singing techniques and ability is mind blowing they sing all types of vocal arrangment from low to high. Many idols and senior praise for their live vocal (ex kingdom, and btob ,many senior and judge idol praise them for their live performance)
as a skz ult, I agree! they are insanely talented, first of all the fact they can all songwrite and they produce of all of their songs, the main ones being 3racha. and then sometimes they help make choreo, and on top of that they are amazing dancers, singers + rappers with great stage presence (I'd love to see them perform at coachella!) I wouldn't call them the most talented group as I wouldn't say there is one, but they are definitely one of the most talented groups I've seen!
3. Agreed To add, you also don't have to listen to every single song by group, in order to know it's not your taste. Ive had so many experiences of people telling me to "check this out check that out" and "you haven't even listened to all songs yet" whenever i mention i don't like a crrtain group's music. I agree that checking their music out on a surface level is necessary to form an opinion of whether to stan them or not. But to constantly peg people to dive into a discography they say they don't even like, is on a whole another level. Why should I be listening to an entire catalogue of 8 albums of your favorite "underrated" girl group when i SAID i didn't like most of their recent releases..? This also happens with people who say they don't like/won't get into/stopped listening to kpop in general. It's okay if someone listened to just 3-4 songs and decided to dip out of kpop respectfully. (Btw recommending songs/artists is completely different.)
You have a very interesting point and I definitely agree! I have the same experience - I dont need to check out other 25 songs from a group when I know the first 10 are not my cup of coffee. You are right in everything you wrote!
This is how I feel when I see people blaming ARMY for only liking BTS and not caring about kpop as a whole. Like, personally, I listen to kpop a lot but I can totally see why some people only stick to one group.
@@meilichankan9282 I agree for sure - I understand that if a person likes a certain group (it usually happens with big groups) it doesnt automatically means they are a kpop fan. I know a girl who likes Blackpink but she never called herself a kpop fan. And I dont blame her for only liking BP, like let people like what they want, lets not force them :)
1)I like some of BP's songs.I'm not sure why, but 'The Album' and the song Lovesick Girls (one of my favourites) suited them the most. They had a certain aura, and songs on that album that I can say this is what Blackpink is. And Love to Hate Me was my ultimate favourite song from that album. YG and Teddy wanted the bad girl image with BP, but it did not quite suit them, in my opinion. Lovesick Era was what I thought of them. 2) In terms of talent, they're about average plus. It seems that neither Girls nor Yg had the chance to fully develop their talent. From my research perspective, if we're talking about 'KPOP is a business', BP is a great example of how multiple top marketing campaigns, paired with background media PR, business dealings, brand sponsorships and working simultaneously successfully would look. It was such a hit that the company behind it lost control of their product. Another thing that made them famous was that they were four members with their own unique styles and memorable names. This made them look like they could be anyone's friends and aesthetically relatable. And YG mostly promoted Girls on an individual basis. If BP had been promoted as a group, the group would have been more famous than the members, which would have been better for the fandom. They could have released more songs, for example. Because of the way Yg promoted Girls (especially Lisa and Jen), it became a lot more powerful than the group and the company. And the company lost control, but I think the girls were the ones who benefited the most from this. 3) I don't think there's anything wrong with writing fiction and doing some shipping as long as you don't lose touch with reality. Of course, as long as you're not delusional. I think it's pretty disrespectful to do 18+ edits.
I'm very happy because you read almost all of my opinions and two times we had the exact same mind(jyp and youngseo's ones)... So shall we kiss?(Just kidding). And for the dreamcatcher one, yeah i said their dischography was underrated but after what you said, i agree that it's more underapreciated than underrated. And i forgot one opinion so i will sait it here: maybe by cherry on top is THE most underrated kpop song(there is 207k views and the mv is from 5years ago.) i have ever seen. Everyone should listen to it.
The second I saw the JYP opinion I was like damnnn, what kind of telepathy is thiis! Thank you for opinions and recommendation! I will definitely check the song!
2:56 I am guilty of this. like I used to not think they are dating in real since I never cared about that but when I was new to kpop I used to think I need to have ships of the groups I like to fit in 😭
I know its not in the video but, honestly I think Bad Villain got hate bc the have the concept that everyone wanted from babymonster. Like I love them both but I really wanted a strong concept similar to shesh rather than forever.
The thing is i think yunah and iroha pretty much suits the CREEPY-CUTE-CORE concept. But i think their makeup should be a little different to wonhee's makeup because she has round face and the others don't
5:44 That's something I've been thinking since illits debut. I also think the whole concept was created to make Wonhee stands out since she is, not only the center, but the only member that doesn't fit other concepts (I mean, the other members get popularity in runext with girlcrush and elegant concepts)
As someone who watched RUNext I actually think Youngseo would be crazy good in illit, better than Yunah, Moka and Iroha based purely off their RUN stages
Btw, I don't think there is any popular self-made or self-produced group. Like when you look in the writing credits, for example BTS, you see how many people actually are listed, plus, some BTS's rap songs are not written or produced by the members according to these credits (I remember one of the Cypher's parts but not sure which, plus there were more). And this is with many of the groups which the fans, actually stans, consider the same groups to be self-produced. Self-made literally means the artist having everything - money, studio, connections in the industry, and there is no such a group. I mentioned BTS cause I am a fan of them and know mostly about them from the "self-made" groups (fan not a stan, make a difference) and seeing toxic Army hating on others for that when the BTS members do not participate always in the credits is crazy, especially on some rap songs which Army themselves claim that a rapper writes his lyrics.
This video is the existing prove that you should be more appreciated and here is why: I saw many ktubers on TH-cam that just couldn't tell their opinion respectfully and maybe even worse is that their comunity is the same. But you are able to nicely say your thoughts without any hate even tho you may disagree with something and your arguments are pretty good and reasonable. And I agree with most (maybe all) your opinions, just a little bonus hahah. If more kpop fans were just like you the kpop industry would be much better place

It is perfectly normal to have some songs you like and some you aren't as crazy about. Even up to the point where there are songs you really don't like at all and can't believe your fave group did it! It is immature to feel like a fan MUST like all of any song or any show your idols do. Shipping is perfectly fine. I don't mind it at all. BUT, it is imagination. IT is NOT real. Gotta keep that in mind. Pretty is fine. But I prefer an astonishingly good voice. Dating isn't a SCANDAL. Smoking isn't a scandal. Going topless or in a bikini is an idol's business, not mine. I probably won't watch it, but mostly I don't care. Some styling is just awful. BULLYING is a scandal. The idols who do it, who are rude...work to be better, redeem yourself. I do not support cancel culture so yes, the idol will get a second chance from me. I don't like being corrected by other fans. I get to have my own opinion. Best live vocals...ATEEZ, BTS, SKZ, Taemin.... Hating is too strong and shouldn't be involved in fan culture.

4:32 i would've 100% agreed with this opinion but jennie smoking is the worst possible example they could've used LMFAO what idols do on their own time that impacts nobody but themselves is none of our business!
My personal problem was that she smoked indoors. As I said, I really do not give a f if idol smokes or not, but people in general (not only idols) shouldnt be smoking indoors :) I however didnt really care that much, because she apologized right after the video was released, so no drama at all.
I won’t lie black pinks discography isn’t the best but it is great like I can think of way better ones but they’re deffo good good at what they’re doing they’re famous for a reason
As I said, I 100% understand and respect everyone, who doesnt like their songs - its very subjective. But they are my ults for a reason and the reason is their discography :)
i'm so on board with the hybe thing, i remember vividly when bighit rebranded to hybe. i immediately felt that shit was about to get fishy, corporately fishy.
About bang pd’s intention to surpass aespa (it’s my opinion) it’s kpop industry there are so many kpop kompanies and groups who wants to be famous isn’t it normal to wish your idols to be first and famous?why people make so much fuss he just say “can u surpass aespa?” He didn’t insult anyone right? People act like he is the first one who has that kind of intention and also why does it matter if seventeen and fromis_9 are from pledis? They are still under hybe there are also many groups who were created before hybe but now they are in hybe and that it if u want to talk about hybe groups vocal people should include every group no matter what . And because of illit and lsf people are calling hybe groups amusic when there are so many groups in hybe who are great vocalists and lsf and illit improved so much
skz is definitely self made. even tho they game from a big company they barely got any promo and literally gained popularity solely through their music. if u disagree fight with a wall bc i just know some of u wld defend ur faves with ur life if the same thing was said ab them. dont talk shit if ur not an idol - you dont know what they went thru and therefore yo opinion dont matter
Maybe controversal??? Not sure lol, but I don't care at all about the Min hyejin drama, I mean I like to keep up with kpop so its inevitable but overall as long as New Jeans keep releasing good music I could care less. Everyone in this business is shady so it all just feels super repetitive to keep talking about how Hybe did this or SM that especially since it's forgotten almost immediately by fans to move on to the next drama.
Of course, definitely respect your opinion! I usually take neutral side in a lot of scandals, I dont care too, but surprisingly, this Hybe scandal got me pretty mad! It doesnt happen often that I care about drama like this, but I have my limits too :)
JYP: “Twice and SKZ said they wanted to perform” HYBE: “Multiple idols are injured” I just found that double standard a little funny, cause you did you think these HYBE idols don’t want to perform too? You don’t think they wanna keep going too? It’s like me saying oh HYBE idols have in house therapists/psychologists and lots of JYP idols are pushed to the point hiatus. HYBE idols also have in house doctors, they not only get therapy for the mental health but they also get physical therapy and so much more but that DOESN’T excuse anything. Either you understand idols wanna keep going until they can’t or you understand it’s the companies fault or even a mix of both. this pick n choose “they’re not over worked because the idols themselves wanted to carry on, unlike this company cause the companies worked them to the point of injure”What is that?. Both are wrong and you Kpop company stans need to stop making up lame excuses.
Txt being called privileged is stupid. Just because their Senior are bts doesn’t mean they are privileged. They literally aren’t treated well specially on when promoting their Songs. They only used bts to promote txt in their rookie era.
I agree with the children comment but you'd be surprised how many grown ass adults are actually starting wars on the Internet... At their big age they fighting tooth and nail for idols who, respectfully, don't even know they exist
I definitely do not think only kids write hate comments! I am very aware adults are toxic too, but from my own experience, many hate comments I get are from kids, thats why I decided to mention it in my video :)
no but actually i want the groups i stan to stick with the same concepts but at the same time i don't MIND it... maybe its because of the groups i stan- for BP i LOVE their concept in general + ENHYPEN, MANNNN I LOVE THE VAMPIRE LORE now i REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they NEVER stop the VAMPIRE LORE!! "MANIFESTO" was kinda diff from what they normally did but they switched ryt back to their OG concept so thats why i didn't mind but theres one thing here..for ENHYPEN they have a CB in abt 8 months after the other so we are not stuck in the same era or sm but for BP well YK...if BP make a whole album thats like AIIYL and ICE CREAM then mann.....idk what i'll do.. if its the opposite and they make a GIRL CRUSH one then OK I LIKE IT basically its DEPENDS on the PERSON STANNING, and the GROUP THEY ARE STANNING
if they have their main concept i think a lot of their songs should be based off of that but if they have a concept change every now and then, it's refreshing but I feel like if you have one main concept and you're doing a completely different thing every time, i don't think there's a point to have a main concept - this is js my opinion btw!
@KiraSetty idk, but even if chan picked the trainees it doesn't change the fact that they were self produced and not self made so our point still stands ig
Hybe is not a great company agreed, but I think you got the aespa thing wrong. 1. Them wanted to be the one ro have the largest girlgroup is totally normal for any company (that's just a goal not a dig at anyone but more of a comiment, I don't get how people missundersand that) 2. If MHJ never held a press conference while highlighting her conversation with BSH we wouldn't have anything to go on (and aespa wouldn't be in the picture of this controversy, MHJ is the only reason so many groups got sucked into this mess and that's honestly just really smart for her but so weird and shitty in the end)
this! i get some groups have all idols being able to sing, dance and rap but they always have one of the skills being under average at least. if you're gonna call an entire group all rounders, then imo they need to be able to excel or at least be at average at all of them
Yes, Rain, honestly should've just stuck to his own career. He literally just mistreated and abandoned a lot of people. Monsta X has the best English Album ngl. Minors shouldn't be debuting with Mature Concepts. Period. Honestly, I hate all the big four companies and their scandals. The artists are good.
OMG THE DREAMING ALBUM IS LITERALLY THE GREATEST ENGLISH ALBUM BY A KPOP ARSTIST LIKE EVER! I am still obsessed with it, but honestly, every single one of their english releases is a masterpiece! They never miss and nobody is doing it like them! But I agree with everything, minors with mature concepts feel so forced to me.
I would like to say 2 things regarding this video:
True.
There are also a heck of a lot of trolls who can't stan kpop plus those who are adults who are engaged in 'Black propaganda'
They might as well be children with that mindset of theirs😭
ok i totally agree with the jyp being the best company.
at this point, if anyone ranks the big3+hybe and put hybe at last for vocals, they get massive hate, but genuinely none of the big3 have any groups with any problems singing live and hybe has 2 or 3 (nwjns has improved a LOT since debut)
jyp choreos r literally insane. like any skz choreo is crazy, nmixx choreo literally has BACKFLIPS and itzy's choreos r just hands down super difficult.
jyp is probably also the least controversial company, and jyp idols (esp. skz) have a lot of interactions with other idols, at this point, there are so many 9th members of skz that i literally cant count. skz has done a dance challenge with basically almost every somewhat popular kpop group out there
At this point even JYP himself interacts with other groups more than YG groups do 💀💀
I agree with everything you wrote!
(btw, do we all obsess over Ni-ki and Hyunjin Chk chk boom dance challenge or its just me?)
@@kpop.is.a.revolution yeah (btw its definitely not just you. as a stayengene, i'm dead rn)
i also love how jyp plays the long game, they aren't too hungry of instant success.
Big3 groups dont have problems singing bc they never sing live, they are constantly lip syncing
(you can check the stats) so yes they were self made.
for smoking, i dont care about idols smoking but it might be concerning for their health and voices. its something i wouldnt hate on or say '____ cant smoke' but i'd js be a bit concerned about their health and move on
as long as it’s not a minor
@@lucky_ducky123 yeah exactly if it's a minor they shouldn't be doing that
Personally I don't care what company you come from... if you put as much work into a group as someone like Chan has building it from the bottom up then you're self made. Also people seem to forget all those videos where JYP literally gave them a selfie stick with a camera and was like go make a music video then let them run amuck.. Stray Kids indeed 😂
Being backed by money does not guarantee success.
Hey!
I have to 3 things before you write:
1. Yes, I know JYP mistreats their artists too. I am not saying the company is perfect - no company is perfect. They have their issues, but I still think out of all big companies, JYP is the best.
2. Many of these opinions may be popular - I asked you to send me your unpopular opinions, but it’s still possible, some of them are popular (that’s why the word unpopular is in the brackets!)
I definitely like this version more, I agree
I do agree!
Its not like you all are any better, having fun hating and bullying idols 😭
Like you said in your video, its okay for you to dislike something, but if its disrespectful you might as well stfu

3. Agreed
To add, you also don't have to listen to every single song by group, in order to know it's not your taste.
OH MY GOSH! I FOUND MY BOYS LIKE YOU PEOPLE! I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!
2:56 I am guilty of this. like I used to not think they are dating in real since I never cared about that but when I was new to kpop I used to think I need to have ships of the groups I like to fit in 😭
Haha, honestly, I think we all have been there at one point!
14:42 Thank you for stating the fact🙆🏻♀️. BTOB was not awarded with Best Vocal Group for 2016 Golden Disc Award for nothing
They are my ults for a reason 😏😏

It is perfectly normal to have some songs you like and some you aren't as crazy about. Even up to the point where there are songs you really don't like at all and can't believe your fave group did it! It is immature to feel like a fan MUST like all of any song or any show your idols do.

And also, I do not really need an apology from her, but it was quite nice she apologized to people who were there :)
isnt KQ block b's old company with a new name lol
editing is top notch ✨
Thank you so much!
@@kpop.is.a.revolution welcome! I agreed with all of your opinions tbh 😆
Stray Kids = Self Made. Period.
i'm so on board with the hybe thing, i remember vividly when bighit rebranded to hybe. i immediately felt that shit was about to get fishy, corporately fishy.
I remember the day it was announced that Seventeen was going to be under Hybe and I had such a bad feeling about it back then.
And because of illit and lsf people are calling hybe groups amusic when there are so many groups in hybe who are great vocalists and lsf and illit improved so much
17:53 please stop pretending to have a grup of ace/all rounders. everyone has their own talent idol can't be good at everything.
3:05 Me watching this as I was reading a kpop fanfic that ship idols 🙂
6:44 underrated literally means under appreciated…
No, smart ahh
I agree with the majority of your opinions!! Btw my fav rapper is Jennie and my fav visual is Karina 💕
Same for me
skz is definitely self made. even tho they game from a big company they barely got any promo and literally gained popularity solely through their music. if u disagree fight with a wall bc i just know some of u wld defend ur faves with ur life if the same thing was said ab them. dont talk shit if ur not an idol - you dont know what they went thru and therefore yo opinion dont matter
Pretty privilege exist everywhere. Pretty women especially are always treated better and that's something normal.
JYP: “Twice and SKZ said they wanted to perform”
HYBE: “Multiple idols are injured”
I just found that double standard a little funny, cause you did you think these HYBE idols don’t want to perform too?
So true :'( txt worked hard to debut but k-pop stans call them the face of privilege 😡
I agree with the children comment but you'd be surprised how many grown ass adults are actually starting wars on the Internet... At their big age they fighting tooth and nail for idols who, respectfully, don't even know they exist
I definitely do not think only kids write hate comments! I am very aware adults are toxic too, but from my own experience, many hate comments I get are from kids, thats why I decided to mention it in my video :)
no but actually i want the groups i stan to stick with the same concepts but at the same time i don't MIND it...
maybe its because of the groups i stan- for BP i LOVE their concept in general
+ ENHYPEN, MANNNN I LOVE THE VAMPIRE LORE now i REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they NEVER stop the VAMPIRE LORE!! "MANIFESTO" was kinda diff from what they normally did but they switched ryt back to their OG concept so thats why i didn't mind
but theres one thing here..for ENHYPEN they have a CB in abt 8 months after the other so we are not stuck in the same era or sm but for BP well YK...if BP make a whole album thats like AIIYL and ICE CREAM then mann.....idk what i'll do..
if its the opposite and they make a GIRL CRUSH one then OK I LIKE IT
basically its DEPENDS on the PERSON STANNING, and the GROUP THEY ARE STANNING
I relate to this so much!
if they have their main concept i think a lot of their songs should be based off of that but if they have a concept change every now and then, it's refreshing but I feel like if you have one main concept and you're doing a completely different thing every time, i don't think there's a point to have a main concept - this is js my opinion btw!
HI CARAT ✋✋💎💎💎❤️❤️❤️
Fact-Stray kids are self made group. ( Self made group, self produced group)
Hater - argue with the wall . Do not cry .
Help- why do u sound like ur in denial?
@KiraSetty fr.. self made and self produced are defined as two different things, and while skz r self produced, they came from one of the big 3.
@@insxmniac_54 Also, wasn’t Chan given trainees to select from? That were provided by the company?
@KiraSetty idk, but even if chan picked the trainees it doesn't change the fact that they were self produced and not self made so our point still stands ig
@@insxmniac_54 no I was just asking a question I understand that they’re self-produced, that wasn’t what I was getting at
Hybe is not a great company agreed, but I think you got the aespa thing wrong.
1. Them wanted to be the one ro have the largest girlgroup is totally normal for any company (that's just a goal not a dig at anyone but more of a comiment, I don't get how people missundersand that)
LE SSERAFIM CAN'T SING!!! JENNIE WAS SMOKING INDOORS AND IT WAS A NON-SMOKING AREA!!!
17:47 they're not, there's no such group
this! i get some groups have all idols being able to sing, dance and rap but they always have one of the skills being under average at least. if you're gonna call an entire group all rounders, then imo they need to be able to excel or at least be at average at all of them
idk if ur talking ab izna not being a group or ot7 allrounder group
@lucky_ducky123 I'm talking about they not being all-rounders
@@sonnet890 oh alright
15:33 kekekekekeke rotfl
bvndit mention!! 😭😭 14:05
I still miss them sm
This is so silly. You sound young yourself.
Okay, madam 🤠
so what even if she's actually young? young and mature at least.
