- A short film from our visit to Warhammer Fest 2019 at the Ricoh Arena Coventry. We had great fun, don't take our selves to seriously and enjoyed entertaining the visitors. And we were all invited by Games Workshop them selves.

So, about 2 years ago I went to a warhammer event. It was pretty cool til someone fell in a big space marine suit. He had barely uttered: "BROTHERS."
Then everyone in a 10 foot radius ran to his aid. It was magical.

To anyone who hasn't had the measure of seeing a cosplay space marine march up to you, I can assure you nothing is more incredible and intimidating. Knowing the lore and Badassery of these soldiers only makes it all the more scary
The Khorne beserk and deathcompany marines have my favourite proportions so far, but the Iron warrior is better detailed ^^
I love that the suits are so goddamned big you physically are unable to walk like they dont weigh 1 ton.
That happy Dorn is my absolute favorite. Bet he'd actually smile at a young aspiring child like that in game, what good primarch wouldn't

It was so hilariously jarring to see at first a over 2 meter tall space marine then after that a normal human sized space marine.

Honestly my favorite is the one space marine with the power glove, I assumed he wouldn’t be able to move the fingers but you can see him gesturing and closing it. Could have just left it a closed fist and it still would have looked amazing, but he took the time and effort to put together some kind of set up to let him move the fingers. Love the 40k community, great stuff

Das sieht großartig aus ! Ich bin echt begeistert und beeindruckt. Warhammer war meine anfängliche Hauptinspiration um im Cosplay mit dem Rüstungsbau anzufangen. ^^ Wenn ich so recht drüber nachdenke war Warhammer sogar einer der Gründe für mich mit Cosplay anzufangen. Ich habe immer davon gertäumt meine selbstgemachte Spacemarine Rüstung zu tragen. Ich hoffe das es eines Tages so ein Fest auch in Deutschland geben wird. Denn eins steht fest. Die Fanbase ist dar. Und wenn ihr von Games Workshop auch weiterhin an eurer liebe zum Detail in Figuren Charakteren und Storys festhaltet. Bin ich sicher das ihr auch weiterhin großes Wellen schlagen werdet. Eins steht fest, durch eure liebe zum Detail seid ihr für viele Generationen jetzt schon unsterblich !

The irony of this video is breath taking, but the costumes are very well done.
Gosh, I remember going to my dad’s friend’s house and playing with little figures they had when I was a toddler till about I was 11. They had soldiers and aliens and a lot of weird armored soldiers (at least to me) because their sons played with them when THEY were younger. I was about 14 when I realized they were a BUNCH of Warhammer 40k figures and Space Marines.

Seeing that Chaos Space Marine made me laugh so hard thinking of Khorne rubbing his hands as everyone rushes towards each other, only to nostril flare when they’re not actually fighting.
This.....this brought a smile to my face
