I agree, 10.5" looks best. The top being hollow looks strange to me in the 11.5"-13.5" sizes. I appreciate the video its helping me pick the correct length.

Quick questions, did you have a bit of trouble putting the railed gas tube in? I got this same kit, I only had a bit of an issue with the gas tube, it didn't freely drop in. I had to lightly hammer it in.
Looks awesome. They have great products. They actually come down to my local range and test their full autos. It's a 2 floor range and you can always tell when there there on another floor. It's loud as shit.

I am assuming since the vepr fm versions have the rpk ring they all require being cut off and the model that allows the sling ring exposed still will not work.

I shopped around and ordered something else but I couldn't get it to stay tight.. so I just have the original furniture on it. That was a couple years ago. I'm sure there's something that works well somewhere

Zenit are overpriced and heavy Russian junk. They're still living in 2005 while other manufactures have evolved past them.
