Plath siblings, Moriah and Micah, are confronting their parents after being kicked out six months ago. They share their struggles with adult responsibilities like juggling multiple jobs and blame their parents for not preparing them for the real world after being sheltered from outside influences for so long. While the discussion with their extremely religious parents looks civilised from the outsider's point of view, big emotions are bottled up under the surface.

It is a parent's job to make sure that their children are doing their schoolwork, whether they are being homeschooled or in traditional school. I know I wasn't allowed to do anything after school until my homework was completed. If my brother or I were struggling with any homework, our mother sat down with us and worked on it with us. You can't ask the same of a high school teacher, because they don't go home with their students.
