Nearly 20 years since my last race and never on a slalom board!!! …it’s super fun and there's much to learn…
Martinhal, Sagres is an epic spot to race and the competition fierce but this is just the start… there's more coming soon!

Videos get better the more fun you have Ben, ur content so much better than the glossy PWA vids which have HD imagery and sound but just look like a board suppliers advertisement . Keep it up coz it’s the closet I’ll ever get to these events !

The action and descriptions of the same was delightful to watch and reminded me of similar Windsurfing actions which I've performed myself and discussed with other people who were also very keen on the sport too.

Great fun and footage and good job on the race course. I’ve already lost most of my hair so maybe wax the old noggin may help go faster...lol. Time to dust off my old AHD Diamond 67 slalom board and NP RX1 8.3m2 sail and get out there.

How much space do I need to leave on the boom? If the sail requires 221cm, how many cm do I need to consider to add on the boom?

Can you explain the PWA competition format? all these single and double eliminations are having me mega confused
Gustav Lundeberg single and double elimination is for wavesailing and freestyle. Slalom is just a heat with 8 racers and the fastest 4 will advance to the next round. Top 8 will race the final to determinate position 1 to 8 and the slowest 8 from 1/2 final will compete in losers final for position 16 to 9...
Ben you need to lube up to get faster! Put on some Bain de Soleil tanning oil!

Top third of your foil wasn't powering on day 3
Do you remember how strong the wind was during the first day? (in knots)
I actually don't know.. 25knots maybe (felt bloody windy)
