Moving abroad to Mexico City 🇲🇽

It’s finally happening - we’re going to CDMX 🇲🇽!! I remember when we first talked about this as a couple one afternoon on one of those longer-than-you-expected hikes, and I always thought it would just remain that, a fun dreamy idea. I didn’t think a Bay Area boy (born and raised) would ever want to leave the beautiful iconic place that is his home, family, history, culture, and our current lives all wrapped in one, let alone move to another country for the first time with a nomad like me and a dog (!) but through many conversations and honest moments, that dreamy idea started to become a real possibility, and an actual thing we wanted to experience and do together. I was surprised. I never thought I’d meet someone who really considered and wanted to live abroad like this together and can undoubtedly say, I wouldn’t do it with anyone else. This man right here is everything - it is only because of how loving, protective, trusting, honest and caring this man is that I have found reason to believe in love again, to dream again, to imagine a life beyond myself that unfolds every day he’s by my side. I wouldn’t want it any other way. We’re excited, nervous, exhausted, but so ready for what is to come and the life we’ll experience here. To the start of a new chapter 🇲🇽
