    Some great tips in here! I do think some people can go too dark on their miniatures. It's a cool effect and creates drama but if your aim is to show off your paint job, then people need to see it! I don't think you're an offender here, and your photos don't look any darker than, say, Duncan's on his IG. But some people man... they get carried away! Good idea on the black table cloth too! Love a cheap option that's just as good as the more expensive ones

      I totally get what you’re saying. I’m a hobbyist on a budget so if a cheaper option will work, that’s where I go. As for the darker look, I like it on a few things but it’s surely overdone. On things like my seraphon I’ll most likely go easy on the vignette

    What setting do you have the camera on though? AV? Macro?

      I set it to M (Manual shooting) and adjust my AP and SS accordingly

      @@thedrypaintpot Appreciate it. I took some just now with this and it really helped. Just need to find a better back drop. I have a photo booth i got off of amazon but its uh.. not great lmao. This vid was such a huge help.
