+Mange 2 It sure is the fastest charger I have in my collection. Just keep in mind that at high charge currents, you inevitably end up with less capacity than at slower rates. So if you are in a hurry, go for the fast charge. If you need maximum capacity, charge at lower currents.
@@AReResearch I have some AAA 1.2v Nimh batteries that I was charging with this charger, and while in the instruction Manual it says that I’m allowed to set and charge it at 2A instead of 0.5, when I did so, after picking up the batteries they were hot enough to almost burn my skin. Any ideas why it would do that? And is that normal?
I use it with AWT IMR 3000mAh 35A cells without any problems. Your cells are very similar, so I don't expect any trouble. The charger defaults to 2A for 18650 cells and you have to set it to 3A manually. The other minor issue is that the positive terminal of my IMR cells ( goo.gl/ijdNdz ) is a bit recessed, so that it doesn't make good contact with the charger's terminals. I use a little magnet as a spacer.
What is damn wrong with your Nitecore SC2 USB Charging slot !! Once Plug into Samsung HP which shown 15% battery life & has indicate charging in progress. "Guess what later, waited for 1-3 hrs later, yet still show 15-16% battery life. Is your Nitecore SC2 USB slot are just for show only & cannot charge at all ? Why your Nitecore product got this type of problem !! Paid $50 for it also got problem !!
I ran some tests on my SC2: All USB-Devices I tried did charge at appropriate current levels from 60ma (bike tail light) to 1A (iPhone 6s). A fake lightning cable charged at a lower rate of 500mA. The official rating of the port is 2.1A. (I could not test that.) Charging a cell in slot 2 has priority over USB-chgarging. So charging will pause until slot 2 has fully charged it's cell. If things are different for you, you might have a defective unit.
Great review. Ive just ordered this charger because of the supposed faster charge time than my nitecore i2. I hope it will be as good as I hope.

I have a MXJO IMR 18650 2800mAh 35A MAX (20A Continuous) Battery will this charger work well for it? And will it charge with 3A on IMR battery?
