This was a fun matchday, and furthermore: very reasonably priced! If you're a neutral and you want to choose between Real and Atletico, come to Atletico. The people are a lot nicer here too! In the meantime, make your suggestions in the comments section below and share this video where you can 😀
Yes, I agree. There's a big section in the museum about the Vicente Calderón, and whilst some fans miss it - there's no doubt that they're in much better surroundings now.
Very enjoyable, interesting, and informative matchday guide Ninh! The Metropolitano certainly is a magnificent stadium! Would also love to see a travel guide to watch a game at Camp Nou in Barcelona at some point
Hmmm, well that depends if there's a reason to ever go back to Barcelona. Possibly for the Sagrada Familia Tour now that it's completely finished, but other than that - it'd have to be an away matchday somehow.
You're welcome! You'll be glad to know that my Complete Madrid City Guide will be LIVE on Wednesday 24th January at 18:00 GMT - so be sure to tune in for that. I'm pretty sure that video will take all the guesswork on planning your trip to Madrid.
Ninh, nice video! I'll leave a like. And concourse review is a chef's kiss! Ninh, would be nice to do the same thing, but for Dortmund and Milan/Inter! Thanks in advance!
In 2022 I went to the Women's EURO final at Wembley and my seat was on the 4th row from the back, it was an incredible view however obviously really high up, based on your footage I'd say it felt like twice the height of the back row at the Metropolitan
It certainly felt that way when I went to the back of the stadium! I was on the bottom of the top tier and it makes a difference. I didn't want to fork out an extra €30 to sit a couple of rows below, but that said, I think if you buy a cheaper ticket and a spare one closer to the field is free - it's fair game ;)
Great vid Ninh, went to Madrid and visited both madrid stadiums in 2022, Atleti seemed to be a bit nicer but they had no AC, which in the 38 degree spanish weather wasn't ideal! Ever thought of visiting the South West of England ,I would definitely recommend watching the Devon Derby when you get the opportunity!
Not many stadiums have AC, so I'd be surprised if Atleti did. It's usually the ones with a roof, as the temperature can be regulated better. Whilst the idea of a 'Devon derby' is nice, I guarantee not many people would watch that video if I made one.
Thanks for the vido, I will be visiting Madrid next week and will be at Metropolitano to watch Atletico Madrid vs Dortmund! One quick question, is that easy to take taxi or Uber after the game?
Hi, thanks for stopping by. Yes, it's pretty easy to take an Uber after the game, as the main pick up point is outside the stadium. That said, it's probably just as quick to use the Madrid Metro, as that too is right outside the stadium. Hope that helps?
I’m planning to buy tickets for the Arsenal game but the tickets for Arsenal games have ballot systems and they choose whether or not you buy the tickets. So when you are buying tickets for games like that bare that in mind. I’m sorry if I’m asking you to do more matchday videos but I really enjoy them.
That's true of Arsenal and United, but many teams like Atletico (of which this video is about) there is no ballot system for regular season games. Just pay and go.
Hi - I can't remember the exact location, but I got tickets to the Lateral Oeste Grand Alta (West Side Upper Tier), front row behind the glass. That seemed to be a good view for less than €30.
Everytime I'm in Edinburgh, they don't do them. I know they do them on occasion and I have asked, but the lukewarm responses I get doesn't fill me with confidence that I'll ever get to do one.
You could, but you could also easily get scammed. The best thing to do is visit the official ticket office outside the stadium - they always hold back tickets until the day of the game. Also, hotels around the city also sell football tickets. It might be worth enquiring, but they're more expensive than going to the official ticket office.

This is one of the best travelling channels ever
I appreciate you saying so, thanks! 🙂
fantastic video Estadio Metropolitano is stunning is better than there old home The Vicente Calderón Stadium
Yes, I agree. There's a big section in the museum about the Vicente Calderón, and whilst some fans miss it - there's no doubt that they're in much better surroundings now.
Perfect timing Ninh! A visit to Atletico Madrid is very high on my bucket list as It’s my favourite football club.
Great! I hope you get to visit this place one day - it was a superb match experience 😀
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you for the video! I truly hope that my dream will come true
Amazing man! What a game!
It definitely wasn't boring, that's for sure!
Congrats on 100k man, i binged like ten of your videos in one day back in lockdown lol
Thank you! And thanks for binging on my videos :)
Great video and congrats on the 100k subscribers!
Thanks very much, looking forward to 1 million ... eventually!

@@UltimateBucketList OK fair enough but yes im sure the completed sagrada familia would also be very cool to do a tour of
nice, just pursched into sector 311, similar to your view, to their next Champions League match against Lille. Looking forward it.
Cool! I hope you have an amazing time!
Awesome video again ninh! Looking forward to more. Also congratulations on 100k subs! Very well deserved!
Thanks very much, this'll be my 2nd silver play button award.
Great video Ninh and the seat was at a good price, the stadium look great.
Yeah for sure - it was about the same distance away from my seat at Real Madrid - but just €110 less!
Thank you for making these videos ! Really helped when I was in London visiting all the stadiums! Planning a Madrid trip soon. Much love from LA

Great Video Ninh! Shame to see the attendance looked pretty poor, although atleti have good fans and sure the atmosphere was quite good.
It honestly wasn't that bad in terms of attendance. The atmosphere was still pretty good, to be fair. I definitely preferred this to Real.
Ninh, nice video! I'll leave a like. And concourse review is a chef's kiss!
Ninh, would be nice to do the same thing, but for Dortmund and Milan/Inter! Thanks in advance!
Thanks. I already did a matchday guide to AC/Inter in my stadium tours video. Not been to Dortmund yet, might do it if there's enough demand.
10/10 subscribed :)

Would love to go and see it. Question real madrid or atletico which one do you prefer?
Both matchday experiences were good in different ways. I personally preferred Atleti overall, but that's just my opinion.

@@UltimateBucketList Thanks for the tip. I guess we both are Man Utd fan -- saw your jacket in the video! : )
Indeed I am!
Excellent place to win the European cup.
It's an excellent stadium to win any game in.

Arsenal match day (idea)
Maybe if I get enough demand. Tickets aren't the easiest to come by though.
I suggest going on a stadium tour of Tynecastle park (hearts) and Easter road (hibs) while your at it 👍🏻
Everytime I'm in Edinburgh, they don't do them. I know they do them on occasion and I have asked, but the lukewarm responses I get doesn't fill me with confidence that I'll ever get to do one.
I’m trying to go watch RM vs ARM but it’s sold out. Do I have chance buying tickets from someone outside the stadium?
You could, but you could also easily get scammed.

OMG thank you
Where did you buy your tickets
From the official website, as mentioned in the video.
walking towards the job center?
Bit of a joke. That's what the unemployed look like when they're going to the job centre.
