  • I previously installed a brake master cylinder and brake booster that was defective out of the box. In this video, I replace the defective unit, I get my pneumatic brake bleeding kit from Harbor Freight to work, and I fix a troublesome leak with Stat-O-Seal washers.

I'm helping my son fix up / "restore" his first car, a 1986 El Camino. We're almost done with a six month "restoration" and color change of the interior. Plan to do a 6.0 4L80e swap with a 9", rebuild the suspension, steering, and maybe a mini resto of the frame. Watching your videos are a good motivation for me, so thank you for your time/effort.
I did notice that it appears you have all of your calipers on the wrong side of the car though. The bleeders should be at the top of the caliper to assist in getting all the air out of the system, although with the vacuum bleeder maybe that isn't necessary. I hesitated to mention this as it seems like your brake system caused you a lot of grief.
Keep grinding, and much respect for the time, money, blood, sweat, and probably tears you're putting into this rolling memorial.
