I cannot be impartial when it comes to this young man, his voice, and his talent. Tom is exceptional. His rendition of this song is wonderful. Thank you, Tom, for sharing yourself with us.
I love Tom Hier's voice and his vocal interpretation of the music. I really can't remember hearing a male sing the song but he nailed it with his interpretation, Beautifully done Tom!
This is such a gorgeous version of the song. It's a pleasure to listen to and watch. The way you effortlessly transverse across your passaggio is remarkable. Watching you form those beautiful vowels and the utter lack of tension in your neck and shoulders is a joy. Thanks!
What a pleasure after almost 2 months! I like particularly the so beautiful soft high notes in head voice, and the "easy" masterful transition with the rich full chest voice. Eventhough without green make-up, most powerful magic occuring here! ✨️🪄
You actually did it! I wished so much for this song and right after I listened for the first time, I said to my friends, “My life is now complete.” 😂 It’s hard to do this song justice, I think, and you really did. Love it. Thank you so much!
The first time that I ever heard Tom's voice, it was doing another song from Wicked alongside @steffan_hughes and I was immediately hooked (and have probably listened to that duet about 20 times since😂). This is just as beautiful - but stripped back to acoustic, only further demonstrates what a vocal powerhouse Tom is - absolutely brilliant.
Hi Tom. This was a cool take on the song. Have loved you since I first stumbled upon the welsh of the west from now on at the beginning of covid. Would love to know how much time occurred between bgt amd I can see you voice. Did Amanda Holden really not recognize you? Just one of your fellow commonwealth Canadian admirers ❤
Sounds wonderful! How about "Music of the Night" from "Phantom of the Opera:". "Luck be a Lady" from "Guys and Dolls". "This is the Moment" from "Jekyll and Hyde". "A Friend Like Me" from "Aladdin". "Impossible Dream" from "Man of La Mancha" "Stars" from "Les Miserables". It is not a musical theater song, but it is beautiful, and would love to hear you do a rendition of "Biblical" by Callum Scott, or maybe "As it was" by Harry Styles. "This Town" by Niall Horan...great song!
@@TomHier My pleasure..really enjoy your performances. Keep up all the good work, I was a tenor in an un-auditioned choir for years...just for the pure enjoyment.
Never would have chosen this piece for you, but it was a brilliant performance. If you were lapsing into falsetto for that upper range, you did so seamlessly. Sort of lost me for a couple of notes at what sounded like a tricky key change at 1:15, still A+ for this. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent, Tom!
I'm falling here it's not because of gravity!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨️😲
🎉 This is one of the best versions l heard in a while. ❤ Listening in coastal Mississippi 👋
Suggestion: Welsh of the West End stages a gender-flipped "Wicked" with you as Elphaba, Steffan as Glinda, and Mared as Fiyero?
Wow what an idea!

Great job with a very tricky song. But I love the acoustic feel that gives some glimpses of theatrical power balanced with intimate singing
Thank you

What he could do with “They Call The Wind Mariah”

Nice one!
First song I heard you sing was electricity from billy elliot in a performance with BGYS for seasons of love! Would love to hear you sing it again x
Wow what a throwback !! Thank you
Absolutely superb!! 👏👏👏👏Perhaps a sing off with Kerry😉
Great idea!!
@@TomHier and post the video please!

Utterly transformative. I thought you soared on For Good but this is ethereal
Thank you!
More pleasant version i suppose...
Good looking ginger and the ginger facial hair is so sexy
