I'm from Rhode Island too, a coastal town called Barrington on the way between Providence and Newport. When I was young there was still a lot of undeveloped land, and something just like this walk was half a mile up from the beach, out behind a small plat of new houses full of young families with kids and a few schools.
What an incredible walk, and you did an absolutely amazing job capturing every beautiful sight along the way! What a gift. Thank you for doing this and for sharing it!

Where is this? I am a Floridian so I am at a loss as to what State/Area this is. I have always longed to live further North where I could enjoy a change of season,,,the fall color is so beautiful to me. Thanks for posting.
How to do this: wear a thick sweater, hand knitted from untreated natural wool if you can find it, under your hooded slicker, and duck hunting boots so you don't slide around too much. You can bring a flask of warming, dark flavoured something, like blackberry brandy or coffee liqueur. No umbrella. Stop walking at times to just stand and listen. When you get chilled to the inside, go home and make a fire or turn on heat, get a short hot shower, and put on a dry thick wool sweater and socks. Make up a tray with tea or coffee, a plate of hot toast with good butter, and some sharp cheddar cheese with an apple right off the tree. Get a wool shawl on your shoulders and the cat on your lap, and sit by a window that has a very slight draft so you can still whiff the oak tannin from the leaves and the rain. Some solo cello sonatas are very good with the toast and tea. Fall asleep.
