with the mymochi brand i find the mochi dough texture is kind of off, it’s super soft and pillowy and starchy and doesn’t taste like much. if you can get your hands on them i recommend trying the Bubbie’s brand mochi or the trader joe’s brand. I find the dough on those to be less starchy and a lot more flavorful, and it definitely adds to the experience more!
