The mochi is the gooey exterior the ice cream is inside. Mochi is a doughy rice and the ice creams can melt and it won’t leak depending on how well the maker seals the mochi. What I mean by doughy rice is they get glutinous rice and mash it together until it’s like a paste

As someone who has had a horrible relationship with their grandpa, this genuinely made me so happy and just the thumbnail made me cry. He is so adorable and i love his stories and just him in general, he reminds me of my grandpa a long time ago.
