The Gogeta ss4 trailer with this music really made it feel special.
Dude I've been listening to this song for so long, so when SS4 Gogeta came out with the music, I literally shed a tear. This is for sure within the top three DB songs, and I feel like since it's in DBGT it gets underappreciated; nevertheless it's such a freaking mood and I love it.
The scene with SSJ4 Gogeta of GT vs SSJGB Gogeta of Super was something I could not in my life would ever see in an official trailer. My late pal would have love this a whole lot.

There is one thing I love to give to GT. Super played it safe, a lot of its concepts were based around fanservice (evil Goku, Vegito coming back, Trunks coming back with a ship, etc). GT might have been less consistent, but they took risks, they went for original concepts, which I wholly appreciate.

This song is the reason why I picked up guitar again. Without "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku," I would have never discovered FLOW and their cover of "CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA." Without FLOW, I might never have discovered X JAPAN. Without X JAPAN, I wouldn't have discovered the beauty of heavy metal and guitar music in general. Without X JAPAN, I wouldn't have my idol, Yoshiki Hayashi. I wish I could thank FIELD OF VIEW personally just for giving me this amazing song.

I can say the same for my art and Dragon Ball itself. Without Dragon Ball I never would've gotten an interest in drawing, so I have no idea where I would be today... Drawing is basically my life now. It's my career and it's my pastime. It's what I love most in the whole world.
And I have Akira Toriyama, every single person who worked tirelessly on the soundtrack and animation for the anime, and the Dragon World as a whole to thank for that. I love this series.

I actually like that dokkan added this for their 7 year anni, 7 is indeed a special number alright, I’m surprised that despite it being from Bandai, it’s a mobile game, a literal mobile game that managed to last long enough past its 7 year mark, Ik there are other nostalgia games that are still around, but this one really is from a company that has been around for a long while, I love how they managed to make the ssj4 gogeta stage have this theme play, it really makes me remember so much things, when I first joined dokkan, when I was introduced to dragon ball, the fun journey of watching the entire series as a child from start to finish, Ik super and the bog/ROF movie existed, but during that time, when I was finished watching it all, I was saddened that this would of been the last time I would see goku and his friends, even super had my respect.
Some of you guys may not like some of the new or some of the other aspects of dragon ball, but I’ll forever love dragon ball, it made me laugh, cry, get hyped, I’ll forever appreciate dragon ball for making my childhood the best, I was introduced to dragon ball when my dad or my uncle had raging blast and it peaked my interest, I’m thankful they both introduced me to dragon ball, it’s not all about fights or the hype, it’s about the journey we had with these characters that developed and made us happy or sad, even made us laugh, and we should appreciate this song for making us remember all the best times of dragon ball.

Despite GT not having a great reputation, this song is still one of the most recognizable in anime history, and has been one of my favorite since I first watched it in 2008

No matter where this happens to play, it's always going to invoke major nostalgia for me. From the opening theme itself to GT, to the SSJ4 Gogeta reveal for FighterZ, the 3rd year anniversary for Dragon Ball Legends, the 7th year anniversary for Dokkan, wherever, this theme is just so iconic.

Dragon Ball GT, while it's not good, had its moments. Like Super Saiyan 4, Baby, the Shadow Dragons, showing the characters get older, exploring more of the universe that was left unexplored in Z, and the soundtrack, especially this song. But it still has a lot of wasted potential, like not making either of the female Saiyans go Super Saiyan when Goten could go Super Saiyan at age 7 in Z, not having an adult Gotenks fusion, making Goku a kid, underusing Vegeta, Majuub being a cool idea but being wasted as soon as he's introduced, Piccolo getting less use, the entire Super 17 saga, and much more. As a whole, it's not the best, and it's definitely not the worst. Out of the 4 Dragon Ball shows, it is the worst, but it still has good things going for it.
Dragon Ball Super is quite better than GT in a lot of ways. Although the first 26 episodes are a waste of time, everything after episode 26 is worth watching and checking out. From exploring the expanded multiverse, introducing new and interesting characters like Hit, the Universe 6 Saiyans, Zamasu, the Omni King, new gods, and others, great animation that shows up during the final arc, and expanding on characters like Vegeta are good points in its favor. And the thing we can all love, making Broly canon in a way that the original Z films wish they did. So Super is not worse than GT (but the first 26 episodes might be).

Never realized this was a love song. What a curious choice for GT's intro.
Now that I went back and watched GT, i can say that in its entirety...
GT has its flaws, just like Super. But in my opinion, GT was just better in so many other places.
The story wasn’t bad, characters had meaning and weren’t just thrown away after Z.
And i have to say, Super Saiyan 4 is the greatest super saiyan form to grace the earth, EASILY.

Super Saiyan 4 looked cool but it didn't feel earned. Especially if you were to compare it to the journey it took to get SSJ1 and SSJ2.
GT was deeper in meaning, it was just too short and didn't have the time to develop
dont get me wrong I like GT but characters were thrown away after Z, Yamcha, Tien, Roshi and Krillin, Piccolo appear 1-3 times

I still do every time to this day. Had some hard times as a 10 year old when I watch this series... DBZ was what truly bonded me and my childhood friends together with Pokemon...

Man everytime I hear this opening I remember when I was like 4/5 years old playing Shin Budokai 1 and 2 on my PSP and my bootleg DB figures my parents would buy me if I behaved in church
One of the best things to come out of gt, honestly gt has it's strengths, and they use them well. The movie and ending was enough bring a tear to my eye.
