Great video series! As someone form Ottawa too it's nice to hear a "home town" perspective of other places. I was just wondeing on your final Seattle day HOW did you get back to the airport? Did you uber or did you have some kind of transfer and how was it arranged? We have the exact same time delay for our Alaska return trip next year, so this video really helped us make a plan-"stasher" seems like a huge help!
Hey! That's so exciting! Alaska was such a great cruise. It seemed like there was a few options but we just ended up taking an Uber back to the airport. I remember it being pretty far from where we stashed our bags maybe a $40-60 ride. Stasher was great, very easy to use, the hotel kept it locked in a luggage room. Thanks for watching! ♥️🇨🇦😎☀️🍻

@@csmith2435 Wow that's so exciting Diamond is a game changer! We're doing our first B2B next year on the Utopia, only a 3-day and 4-day but I'm looking forward to seeing the process.
This will be my 3rd b2b. This is a 8 day and 12 day. Did my first one this past May and coincidentally it was the repositioning cruise of Vision from Ft Lauderdale to Baltimore via the ABC islands, 9 days then a 10 day to a few other Caribbean islands. The main downside about Baltimore is the big ships can't get into the port and the itineraries are pretty limited from Baltimore. That being said, in November NCL will be sailing the Joy and I think the Sunshine from Baltimore. BTW, a few minutes ago I received my invitation from RCL to attempt to Royal Up! I bid on a room with a view and a room with a balcony. We shall see what happens...and that is for the first of two cruises. Hopefully I will get the invite to bid for the second cruise in about a week!@@ryanandkala
What a fab way to end your cruise. We stayed for a few days in Seattle at the end of our cruise to Alaska as there is so much to see there and we are booked to go back to Alaska for the 4TH time next May. Great vlogs guys - looking forward to the next one on Oasis. ❤

We just returned from the Ovation of the Seas. It's so cool knowing we were all there together. Too bad we didn't know beforehand. My wife and I enjoy your content. It certainly helped on this last Alaskan cruise.

@@ryanandkala I think Sitka was the best as got to see Eagles in the wild on a trail that takes you to Alaska Raptor Center. I think next time my wife and I go we are thing about doing the Southbound cruise that leaves from Seward, AK. My wife loves Puffins so we want to do the Puffin encounter at the Alaska Sealife Center in Seward. Again we love your content and hope someday you do a group cruise.

Catching up on some of your old videos. I lived 2 blocks from the Needle (you actually can see my old apt on the monorail trip!). Next time, be sure to check out the MoPop museum you walked right past! (the building with the really weird colors and shapes outside, in front of that playground). It's a very, very cool museum of popular culture.
We will definitely check that out next time! We tried to cram as much into this day as possible haha! Next time we will have to stay overnight or something!! Seattle was an awesome town!

We used the Stasher app to find a hotel nearby. It was great!! Can’t remember which exact hotel it was but there were a lot of options!
So many think this is the original Starbucks was really a block away from the one that people think. The others are are the same go a block away for your coffee.

I’m going on ovation of the seas August 23 this year. Thank you very much for your videos. They really helped out a lot on my excursions. What hotel did you stay in the day before that is close to the port and what is the port number that I have to go to cause I’m taking the same cruiseCaribbean rocks. You guys.
Our cruise left from Vancouver so we stayed at the Sheridan at the airport and then cab over to the cruise terminal. It’s been over a year since we did it so I cannot for the life of me remember the terminal but I think you’re leaving out of Seattle so this information would likely be unhelpful to you anyways lol!

We have only used it this once but we loved it! Great option so you’re not lugging around suitcases 🧳
I live at 4800 feet above sea level and do hikes to over 14,000 feet. Now that’s crazy.

Ryan and Kala, I enjoyed your Before/After cruise from Seattle. You mentioned you were taking a red eye. We are too. I didn't get any feel of how much time it took you to get to each sight and at what time and how you got to the airport to catch the red eye. We have a 10:59pm to catch. Could you please give info as to when you left to go to airport. Thanks
Oh boy, this was last year so it’s really hard to remember… I believe our flight was at like 6 or 7pm with 2 connections to get back to Ottawa (which the airline ended up losing our luggage lol)
We walked to everything and used that train once, and then just cabbed to the airport.
Not sure if this helps you at all, but I’d suggest to plan where you want to go and make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the airport! Don’t push it too close.
Did they throw the fish at the market at certain times of the day or?? Interesting👍
I think they do at various times throughout the day… Probably when a good crowd forms around them

We loved the Ovation! Such a great ship especially for an Alaska cruise. We didn't do a ship tour and cruise review of this one but Alaska is our favourite cruise itinerary to-date! We really liked the Esplanade, the Sky bar area, Cafe Two70, and the Music Hall. We also liked the activities on board such as the bumper cars/roller skating in the Sea Plex, indoor Sky diving and the North Star ⭐. You're going to have a great cruise! 🍻☀️😎Let me know if you have any more questions!

We actually didn’t stay at a hotel we were just there for the day. We dropped our luggage off at a hotel using the stasher app so we didn’t have our luggage with us! Then picked it up and headed to the airport
