Great video as always!!! Captain I hope the hand heals soon so we all can see you fly again. I bought a version of the Ryan St-a from Tower Hobbies and it is a fantastic ARF kit as well but much smaller. I fly it with a 45 Rimfire electric motor. Robert will love flying the larger gas version!!

All that for $200. Oh ya! What a deal! Looks like a great ARF, the Ryan From Black Horse, did a great job all the way around. And that was 2011, Now it seems that everyone is making ARF's sometimes so cheaply. I don't think any of us would be willing to pay a little bit more to get a quality plane. That bird looks awesome. That's the things with balsa planes, you can rebuild them. I made three complete wings, two rudders and half a fuselage for my first plane. Do not learn how to land with crosswind.

Salut Captain Blaz! Congrats to this sexy plane! I have the same one, but the newer version, with some minor changes. And instead of a gas engine, mine flys electric with 8S. This plane is really a charm to fly. She looks so damn sexy in the air and behaves always nice. But go for the bigger motor. I have about 3,5hp with mine and I don't want to miss anything of them. Of course, you can cruise around with way less power, but this bird wants to be flown powerful and dynamically. There might be some problems with the landing gear. The shoes tend to break when the landing gear is compressed by a hard landing. To make the cutouts a bit bigger will help to prevent this. I'm looking forward to the video of the maiden flight. Have fun with the build!
