I do think my ex regrets messing up but she unfortunately doesn’t have the ability to say sorry and reflect. Her false self gets in the way of her ego being allowed to take the necessary accountability to be able to maintain a healthy relationship. So sadly she has no choice but to move on to the next victim

When I move on I never look back and I have closed the chapter for good. I don't forgive or forget but sometimes I do reflect on my toxic childhood and unhealthy relationships with men ( Narcissistic abuse) not because I want to hold onto my anger or remain in a emotional state but to remind myself I am worthy of love and respect and I don't deserve mistreatment from anyone! Besides my mission is too big to be worrying about who doesn't like me or care about me because I am not living to impress anyone but I am living to do what is right. I am in charge of my life, future and my destiny and no one knows what is best for me apart from GOD! The Narcissist regrets losing power and control and they have not come to the conclusion they were the problem and even if they did they wouldn't acknowledge it! They are all about themselves and that is never going to change. They try to make you dependent on them because they are dependent on you. They are a leech, parasite and a bottom feeder! As a survivor of Narcissistic abuse I am focusing on self growth, self discovery and living my best life as tomorrow isn't promised for anyone. I don't owe anyone anything. I have been honest.

I myself was in a narcissistic relationship and it was horrible! mentally and physically draining i never been in a relationship with so much hate that he called me every name under the sun and wished i die. I blocked him and never looked back. I thank God i have my life back 🙏🏼

I divorced a narcissistic man-child 3 months ago, and he tried to hoover me back twice. I put my foot down both times and told him I see through his tactics and they aren't working. We co-parent, so we still connect about the kids. I've learned that he's back in the dating world, and he hates it; and he's on social media 24-7 for constant validation. Sucks to be him!

Congratulations on standing your ground! It takes a lot of strength to recognize those tactics and not fall for them. It sounds like you’re doing a great job co-parenting while prioritizing your own well-being. Keep focusing on your happiness. You're clearly on the right path!

It's true that some narcissists may seem to move on easily, but deep down, they often struggle with losing their supply. They may want that validation and attention back, even if they don’t reach out. It’s important to focus on your healing and growth. Thank you for sharing your experience!

  • @Alive20244

    • @NarcPedia

That’s a valid point! Narcissists often rely on new supply to cope, but it doesn’t mean they aren't affected by the loss. Your insight highlights the complexity of their behavior. Thank you for sharing!
