I work on a dairy farm and the biggest perk is the raw milk! It's delicious. You can make cheese, yogurt, butter etc and everything is out of this world.

I had asthma for 9 years and used a inhaler everyday.. We moved to my grandparents and l started drinking raw milk, and haven't had a asthma attack since.. That was 37 years ago.

I have had milk straight from the tit, cow, goat, moose, and more. I eat fresh unwashed chicken eggs too. They can sit in the pantry for days without refrigeration. Never been sick and it is all better tasting. Keep the gov out of your life. Grow your own food too.

Raw milk is a whole food. Processing it ruins it. It's that simple. Most food is ruined by Processing, milk happens to be in that category.

In Iowa, Republicans legalized raw milk. But they did it with such extreme regulatory restrictions, that it's effectively non-profitable and so no threat to big dairy. And yet at the same time, they put into place no system to enforce regulation to ensure safety. So, it's guaranteed to lead to problems. You really have no way of knowing if your dairy farmer is testing or maintaining clean conditions.
I do buy raw milk and have visited the farm. I know what my farmer is doing. But it's unrealistic to expect every consumer to visit farms. Could you imagine if every food item we bought we'd have no way of knowing it was safe without personally observing the entire production production system. As a liberal-leftist Iowan, I think both parties are doing it wrong, as the entire political system is beholden to big ag.
As for quality, it is straight up ignorant to say there is no difference. Many things are destroyed with pasteurization: Wulzen factor, enzymes, fat-soluble vitamins, etc. Raw milk, if done safely, is healthier. Period. But Republicans are so full of shit. They conflate legalization with deregulation, or at least they do rhetorically. They don't even really defend deregulation. They just make a mess of it, as they're real concern is capitalists, not consumers.

I love raw milk. I had no idea it was political. But at least the right wing has one good cause.
