because lesbians are honestly pretty boring at this point. no one bothers to do anything with them more interesting than "oh look at them, it's two girls who like each other isn't that unique??? isn't that crazy???"
the supposedly pro-LGBT crowd has repeatedly turned them into little more than a sideshow attraction you might see in an 1800s circus. Show me a lesbian relationship with literally any depth to it at all and you might pique my interest, because unlike people who have been consumed by an agenda I'm still able to see human beings as actual people. People are very interesting, or at least they can be. Love itself is a fascinating and borderline mystical binding force; I love the idea of exploring it from non-traditional angles. But please, for the love of Christ, actually bring something interesting to the table and *explore* the space when you do so. Otherwise it's disrespectful and a waste of everyone's precious fucking time.

@@mdsx01 The actual real answer is that Mae showed up and admitted that her attempts to burn Osha into staying with the witches (which is how you convince someone to stay instead of running them off) was about to end Mae. So the lead witch, rather than turning to the Jedi next to her and saying, "Please help us save our daughter, which is what you want too!", just turns into a spooky ghost. Presumably, she was going to save Osha, but unlike the other witch she doesn't actually disappear and she just hangs out there long enough for the Jedi to draw his saber and then stab her. And the Jedi, rather than ALSO thinking, "Hey, we should save that girl I specifically came here to save", instead decides that getting into a fight with a force ghost is the best idea like he knows his sabre would even affect a force ghost (which many viewers doubt). Like almost all the writing in this episode it doesn't make a lick of sense in-story, but it just makes things happen that the writer wants to happen.
Torbin makes Anakin look like the most patient Padawan.
Being fair he had direct experience with them using extended mind control, as such from his perspective getting the kids out was the definition of an exigent circumstance.
He's making Sha'a Gi look like a master of self control and composure 😂😂😂

Media companies (all kinds games, TV, movies etc) give off this impression that they know what is gonna hit big or something and the fact is they really don't. The MCU only happened as it did because it was compatible with a normal release schedule and was very easy for them to bail on the project if it didn't go like they expected.

Ah, yes. The Hyperspace incident. What a great addition to the Star Wars lore, I'm so glad Leslye Headland mentioned it in the Acolyte because I was worried it might be forgotten. A freighter in hyperspace blows up, and the fallout destroys multiple planets. Then the Empire builds a "super weapon" that does a tenth of the damage that a freighter wiping out in hyperspace does for a trillion times the cost. Then they do it again, for two trillion times the cost. Then the First Order does it again, for a hundred trillion times the cost. If only there were more smart female villains around to tell the stupid male villains how cheap and easy it is to destroy planets with hyperspace.
Still waiting for someone to ask Headland about Harvey.

I remember the Star Wars kids books from the 90s. They were a confusing autistic fever dream, but I remember one about them escaping a spaceship that was about to blow up and their adopted dad was a shape shifting alien. So much more fitting than anything made after the prequels.
