Also for Stranger, make sure to listen to both the New Wave version and the Shine Brother version. The Shine Brother was done more recently (I think) with less reverb/processing effects, so personally I think you can really hear his techniques more clearly

Another enjoyable reaction. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva, a very famous female Russian singer, and modified it for Dimash to sing. After watching Dimash's performance of Sinful Passion in 2018 he decided to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I miss you, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. Igor Krutoy is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash is addressing the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!
It would be interesting to know that this song was performed in honor of a famous Russian singer on the occasion of her 70th birthday (Alla Pugachova) who sang this song in a completely different approach, much closer to the end of this version that was supplemented by Dimash with exactly the Ave Maria part, an absolutely Christian theme masterfully interpreted by Dimash (an enlightened Muslim). At the piano was exactly the composer of the song Igor Krutoy (a Russian Jew) so an explosive combination of talent, genius and a moment of full proof that art of great value transcends everything that human history has shown us in time that divides people: politics , religion and racism and has shown us that the best combination to defeat evil in the world is love and art!

since i don't speak finnish, i didn't understand anything that Anna said ... but still i understood and enjoyed everything she said just as well as everybody understands and enjoys Dimash singing anything in any language ! :-)
@@annavaskelainen not at first when watching on my tablet, but while rewatching on my PC. the subtitles are quite good, except that the huge font takes up at least half of the screen for me (i don't know how to permanently change those settings, and also am glad if they are off by default since for 99% of the videos i watch, i neither need nor want subtitles. youtube is strange sometimes, eg for weeks sending me only "live" and "premiere" notifications, and got notified about the heart (thanks) and answer only now, after a week)
I just went back to see what else of Dimash you have not seem. My goodness, you have deprived yourself of some awesome Dimash experiences. So much out there. I found sos by accident and was totally hooked and addicted. Started on the Dimash journey through all the singer performances. You really need to experience them. Even though he has improved over the years there is something so special about all those performances. He only had a week to learn each song and most were in a language he didn’t speak so he learnt them phonetically as well as changing each song to make it uniquely his own. Gloria Wu’s channel has the back stories to the ones that are based on real events like “Daybreak”. You really need to watch that. Gives an insight to how unique he was even at the age of 10 when he first heard the song and decided he had to perform it one day because he was so moved by what happened. And even though he sings it better in his concert, he was sick for the “singer” performance. Lost his voice but had injections in his throat so he could sing it. It meant so much to him. So I find it special. After you watch Gloria Wu’s backstory apparently she alters something in the sound so she doesn’t get blocked. So for analysing I read you should listen to another “singer” video My other favourite from Singer is Autumn Strong, also based on a true story.

You should absolutely check out his latest releases from the 2021 New Wave Music Competition, in particular, "Stranger" and "Ave Maria." These two songs are on a whole other level. Any time we think Dimash could not get any better we are proven wrong. His voice has matured and gotten even better.

There's an acapella group called VoicePlay and just recently released a cover of (Hoist The Colours) from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. VoicePlay is technically brilliant, videos are masterfully done. In this cover the members make up are high tenor, lead tenor, baritone, deep bass and baritone/ beatboxer. They do all the musical arrangements, mixing and the video production. Even if you watch on your own time you might pick up something for your future use. Thank you for your time. God Bless.

I love these reactions. Did you notice that they guy playing the piano here is the same guy in white shirt who stood up in the audience at the end of your previous reaction video (sinful passion)? That is Igor Krutoy. He is a composer who was retired, but heard of Dimash and then went to see him live (sinful passion). He then came out of retirement to work with Dimash and they have done a lot together. In short, yes, this composition is brilliant. And it was, quite literally, a work of passion. I hope you keep following this track. You had an "ave maria" moment. Well, he has an "ave maria" performance with mere vocalization (no words) that he just did. And the epic "Stranger" was in the same event. Both of which are works with Igor Krutoy. But before coming to his recent performance, you have a lot of Dimash to enjoy. I just request that when you come to "unforgettable day" that you make sure it is the "Gakku" version.

Once again you've wowed with your analysis of this song. Your "Ave Maria" comment is the only time I've heard that point from any reaction channel.. My favorite parts are the shocking dynamic change to at 5:53 and the first part of the "Ave Maria" section from 6:19 to 6:41. The gentleness and mystery of those sections gripped me much more than the belted or tenor classical parts. It was like they transported me into another world or another person's world. Your facial reactions to what he was doing made it more enjoyable to watch like, "she gets it!". I daresay you are on the same level as The Charismatic Singer and you will have much more success as you progress.
Watching and listening to Dimash is amazing..... but watching someone as beautiful as you fall in love with his every note is also one of life’s great pleasures. 💕
I always wait for your reactions, I truly enjoy them. Beautiful paintings need beautiful frames. I suggest you take all his 3 new songs from the latest Krutoi Show. He wrote "Strangers" and "Ave Maria". "Fly Away" is a poppy song, but I found it haunting. There is such a complexity in it, that I include it in his progression. He just stepped to a next level... You can do it in one video. I am for it. /I know, it is a lot of work :( /

Gloria Wu’s channel has the back stories to the ones that are based on real events like “Daybreak”. You really need to watch that. Gives an insight to how unique he was even at the age of 10 when he first heard the song and decided he had to perform it one day because he was so moved by what happened. And even though he sings it better in his concert, he was sick for the “singer” performance. Lost his voice but had injections in his throat so he could sing it. It meant so much to him. So I find it special. After you watch Gloria Wu’s backstory apparently she alters something in the sound so she doesn’t get blocked. So for analysing I read you should listen to another “singer” video My other favourite from Singer is Autumn Strong, also based on a true story.

You should absolutely check out his latest releases from the 2021 New Wave Music Competition, in particular, "Stranger" and "Ave Maria." These two songs are on a whole other level. Any time we think Dimash could not get any better we are proven wrong. His voice has matured and gotten even better.

There's an acapella group called VoicePlay and just recently released a cover of (Hoist The Colours) from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. VoicePlay is technically brilliant, videos are masterfully done. In this cover the members make up are high tenor, lead tenor, baritone, deep bass and baritone/ beatboxer. They do all the musical arrangements, mixing and the video production. Even if you watch on your own time you might pick up something for your future use. Thank you for your time. God Bless.

so nice to see you again. I love this so much, The purple tux and the blue lighting with the yellow/gold lights behind him is just visually perfect. You don't even notice the orchestra behind him. This is my favorite performance he does of this song. He recently dropped 3-4 songs from New Wave 2021 Festival and also on his channel is a new video of Give Me Love. I love these reactions. Did you notice that they guy playing the piano here is the same guy in white shirt who stood up in the audience at the end of your previous reaction video (sinful passion)? That is Igor Krutoy. He is a composer who was retired, but heard of Dimash and then went to see him live (sinful passion). He then came out of retirement to work with Dimash and they have done a lot together.
In short, yes, this composition is brilliant. And it was, quite literally, a work of passion.
I hope you keep following this track. You had an "ave maria" moment. Well, he has an "ave maria" performance with mere vocalization (no words) that he just did. And the epic "Stranger" was in the same event. Both of which are works with Igor Krutoy. But before coming to his recent performance, you have a lot of Dimash to enjoy. I just request that when you come to "unforgettable day" that you make sure it is the "Gakku" version.

Once again you've wowed with your analysis of this song. Your "Ave Maria" comment is the only time I've heard that point from any reaction channel..
My favorite parts are the shocking dynamic change to at 5:53 and the first part of the "Ave Maria" section from 6:19 to 6:41. The gentleness and mystery of those sections gripped me much more than the belted or tenor classical parts. It was like they transported me into another world or another person's world.
Your facial reactions to what he was doing made it more enjoyable to watch like, "she gets it!".
I daresay you are on the same level as The Charismatic Singer and you will have much more success as you progress.

I suggest you take all his 3 new songs from the latest Krutoi Show. He wrote "Strangers" and "Ave Maria". "Fly Away" is a poppy song, but I found it haunting. There is such a complexity in it, that I include it in his progression. He just stepped to a next level... You can do it in one video. I am for it. /I know, it is a lot of work :( /
