I just encountered you due to this reaction. I do love this performance, but I also loved your reaction. It *is* almost overwhelming! 💚 I've also watched your first two reactions, SOS and Sinful Passion, and enjoyed them too. But these songs have been mostly highish register singing. (This Love is like a dream performance starts really low, but still.) So, maybe react to Stranger (New Wave 2021) to get some of his lower register singing? And/or Olympico (the one on Igor Krutoy's channel) to get a lot of low register singing? Or maybe El amor en ti? All three are as good as the three songs of his I've watched you react to already. His friend Igor Krutoy, the piano player in this performance, composed Stranger and Olypmico, but Dimash himself composed El amor en ti, and that is also true to for my fourth and final suggestion. In your first ever reaction to him you said you would love to hear him sing with a bit more "grit" (or something like that). To a degree you'll get that with some parts of Stranger and Olympico, but to get grit that will shock you, I'd say you need to react to a song that he composed so he feels it at another level. Better yet, make it his magnum opus, The Story of One Sky. I'm not going to tell you when he gets gritty in The Story of One Sky, but boy you'll know when he does. It's as gritty as it can get. Your entire body and heart will be ripped to shreds when he goes there. Then again, you will have been torn apart long before then anyway. Just make sure you are ready for spiritual destruction along the way (and rebirth, if you're lucky). Life is tough, and then you die, and maybe you scream when you do, because, well, what's the story, really? I don't mean to frighten you, but The Story of One Sky is one hell of a ride. React to it if you dare, but only if you make sure you've got tissues ready, and a safe space to rest in afterwards...

This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow. As you probably already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

We, as Dimash fans, sometimes forget that every live performance he does would be a "once in a lifetime" performance for almost any other singer. They are all just 💯! I would recommend watching his "Daybreak" Bastau 2017 video. It's a cover of a song about a real life cable car accident that happened in China where many people died, including both parents of a young boy. The song is about them handing their son over to someone moments before they fell to their death. Aileen, great reaction as usual., I always enjoy all of your reactions, especially Dimash. So happy to see you back to Dimash. There are two performances that you have to react to IMO. The first is his recent concert performance of "El Amor En Ti" ( his first sung in Spanish), it will knock the socks clean off your feet! The second is his studio live performance of "Ikanaide", sung in Japanese for the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival. No screaming fans, no stage noises, only Dimash with a beautiful string backing track singing his heart out, you can hear every whisper, just incredible. Be well and stay safe.

Of all Dimash's performances on TH-cam, for me probably this is the most emotional and complete interpretation: there is "suffering" in the almost whispered parts, there is an exceptional control of tones and vibrato, you almost feel "caressed" from the "sighed" notes, and then that final part which ends with the high tone held for several uninterrupted seconds, in addition to his expression on his face and eyes and the movements of his fingers... in short, everything is there!

I've also watched your first two reactions, SOS and Sinful Passion, and enjoyed them too. But these songs have been mostly highish register singing. (This Love is like a dream performance starts really low, but still.) So, maybe react to Stranger (New Wave 2021) to get some of his lower register singing? And/or Olympico (the one on Igor Krutoy's channel) to get a lot of low register singing? Or maybe El amor en ti? All three are as good as the three songs of his I've watched you react to already.
His friend Igor Krutoy, the piano player in this performance, composed Stranger and Olypmico, but Dimash himself composed El amor en ti, and that is also true to for my fourth and final suggestion. In your first ever reaction to him you said you would love to hear him sing with a bit more "grit" (or something like that). To a degree you'll get that with some parts of Stranger and Olympico, but to get grit that will shock you, I'd say you need to react to a song that he composed so he feels it at another level. Better yet, make it his magnum opus, The Story of One Sky.
I'm not going to tell you when he gets gritty in The Story of One Sky, but boy you'll know when he does. It's as gritty as it can get. Your entire body and heart will be ripped to shreds when he goes there. Then again, you will have been torn apart long before then anyway. Just make sure you are ready for spiritual destruction along the way (and rebirth, if you're lucky). Life is tough, and then you die, and maybe you scream when you do, because, well, what's the story, really? I don't mean to frighten you, but The Story of One Sky is one hell of a ride. React to it if you dare, but only if you make sure you've got tissues ready, and a safe space to rest in afterwards...

Another very enjoyable reaction. I have watched this performance countless times over the past years, and I am still moved to tears each time. This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow.
As you probably already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform.
Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections:
In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love.
In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him.
In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!
I subscribe to your channel, but I don't understand how someone as sensitive as you lets time go by without reacting to the best singer in history. You have 'lost' and you are missing a lot of new things from Dimash, which are each considered master pieces of the true musical art that was missing until Dimash appeared. Greetings from Panama.

We, as Dimash fans, sometimes forget that every live performance he does would be a "once in a lifetime" performance for almost any other singer. They are all just 💯! I would recommend watching his "Daybreak" Bastau 2017 video. It's a cover of a song about a real life cable car accident that happened in China where many people died, including both parents of a young boy. The song is about them handing their son over to someone moments before they fell to their death. Aileen, great reaction as usual., I always enjoy all of your reactions, especially Dimash. So happy to see you back to Dimash. There are two performances that you have to react to IMO. The first is his recent concert performance of "El Amor En Ti" ( his first sung in Spanish), it will knock the socks clean off your feet! The second is his studio live performance of "Ikanaide", sung in Japanese for the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival. No screaming fans, no stage noises, only Dimash with a beautiful string backing track singing his heart out, you can hear every whisper, just incredible. Be well and stay safe.

Never know. He might get lucky (or not, depending on his perspective) with a "breaktrough song" or hit. It just takes the right song and or the right producer, at the right time and boom. it can happen on accident.
